Hold your nerves for NEET.
CBSE, Central Board of Secondary Examination, is all set to hold the first
national entrance exam (NEET-UG) for taking admission to Medical colleges across
India.
There are lots of talks about this exam in student community. Which type of
questions will be there, how would it be possible to answer 180 questions in 3
hrs, what will be the cut-off marks for getting good college, how could I compete
nationally and so on. These are natural questions which bother students.
Tomorrow is very crucial day for you and it is very essential to manage pressure.
As it is last the last preparatory day, you have to manage it carefully. You have to
understand that one day cannot be equal to one year. For students who have
studied for whole year there is no reason to be panic.
Understanding your present situation we advise you to follow some important
tips:
* No Exam is tough if you have prepared well so don’t be scared of NEET. It is
similar to other exams.
* Avoid studying new topics and don’t stress on the concepts which are unclear.
* Memorize the formulae well; it will help you solve numerical problems quickly.
* Take proper meal and rest.
* We strongly advise you to take proper sleep as you will struggle to concentrate
during the exam after studying late at night or full night.
Some points to be considered on exam date and in exam hall,
* Reach well on time at the Exam center.
* Follow the instructions written on the paper carefully.
* Fill your answer sheet correctly and completely.
* Be confident while answering and don’t try to take help from others.
* Don’t carry any calculating materials (Calculators, log tables, digital devices, and
mobile)
* Answer the questions which you are easily able to, first.
* Avoid solving the questions you seem to be lengthy.
* Don’t mark answers which you don’t know. As 25% marks (one mark) will be
deducted for each wrong answer. Answer only if you are at least fifty percent
confident and it should not be applied for several questions.
* Last but not the least, manage your time to complete the paper on stipulated
time.
We are sure you have prepared well and utilized your time targeting the NEET.
