The Agricultural Revolution And The Industrial Revolution
The Industrial Revolution is where the production of machine made goods increased greatly. This took
place in the 1700s in England. Before the Industrial Revolution happened these goods were produced
handmade. I think the agricultural revolution was a pretty big part of the Industrial Revolution. The
agricultural revolution had a couple key parts. The first one is crop rotation which increase food
supplies and living conditions for the people in England. They were able to plant a whole field of
something and the next year be able to plant the same field with a whole new crop. Another key point
is the wealthy landowners took the land from the villagers which allowed them to make larger fields
called enclosures. With having these enclosures it allowed the owners to try many different ways to
plant their food. Jethro Tull was a scientific farmer who realized that planting seed by throwing it out
didn t get all of the seed to grow. He thought it was wasteful so he decided to create the seed drill in
1701. The seed drill let the farmers put the seed in perfectly spaced rows at certain depths. This
invention boosted the crops in a pretty big way. Without these advancements in agriculture the
industrial revolution wouldn t have been the way it was. The agriculture revolution treated many
different ways to more efficiently make more crops and what the industrial revolution is, is the output
of machine made goods. With these new advancements you can create many more machine made

Analysis Of The Passionate Shepherd To His Love
Carpe diem is Latin for seize the day and is referenced to making the moments count. The Passionate
Shepherd to His Love, written by Christopher Marlowe, which is introduced with an innocent tone,
broad syntax, and subtle symbolism. These literary factors tend to make the poem the most persuasive
and convincing compared to the other Carpe diem poems.
However, the Carpe diem poem To The Virgins, To Make Much of Time, written by Andrew Marvell,
appears to be the least persuasive due to its hasty tone, figurative language and presumed audience.
Also, the poems share their similarities due to their diction, conceits and underlying themes along with
a few differences among their rhyme schemes. The Passionate Shepherd to His Love written by
Christopher Marlowe is the most persuasive Carpe diem poem due to its tones, syntax structure and
targeted audience. For instance, (lines 1 2) it states, Come live with me and be my love, And we will
all the pleasures prove. This quote reveals an innocent, naive tone within the poem. Also, the first line
is an imperative sentence, but presented gently rather than forceful similar to an euphemism. The
writer s choice of the word yield in line four is the syntax for the love he and his lover are going to
prove. Yield refers to submitting, and the writer believes the valleys, groves, hills, and fields, woods, or
steepy mountain will submit due their innocent love. Also in line twelve the writer states Embroidered

Testing Is A Viable Software Verification Technique
Abstract Although Concolic testing is increasingly being explored as a viable software verification
technique, its adoption in mainstream software development and testing in the industry is not yet
extensive. In this paper, we discuss challenges to widespread adoption of Concolic testing in an
industrial setting and highlight further opportunities where Concolic testing can find renewed
applicability.

I. INTRODUCTION
The growing complexity of today s software demands sophisticated software analysis tools and
techniques to enable the development of robust, reliable and secure software. Moreover, increasing
usage of third party libraries or plugins where source code is not readily available presents additional
challenges to effective software testing [11]. The cost to fix bugs prior to releasing the software is
often times much lower than the cost to fix bugs post release, especially in the case of security bugs. A
number of automated software testing tools and techniques are commonly used in the industry. While
automation significantly reduces the overhead of manual testing, finding deeply embedded security
defects is not always automatable. Furthermore, automated software testing is prone to false positives
or false negatives. Hence, there is a burgeoning need to advance the state of the art in software testing.
In this context, Concolic testing is

A Research Study On The Bird Family Cuculidae
One of the biggest investments in a species life goes towards reproducing and raising offspring. Most
species will spend lots of time, energy, and resources into raising their offspring and can be costly to
their own survival. Although some parents will risk about anything to successfully raise their young
and increase their fitness. How much time and energy is spent on raising offspring greatly varies
among species and mostly depends on their evolutionary history. Brood parasitism is a mischievous
way for a parent to avoid raising its own young, which can provide many advantages. However, this
behavior has not always been so advantageous and has been shaped through environmental pressures.
The bird family Cuculidae has perhaps the most diverse breeding strategies within any other bird
species and has long puzzled biologists (Rothstein, 1990). One of the major breeding strategies within
the Cuculidae family is brood parasitism. Brood parasitism is the manipulation of a host, of either the
same species or a different species, to raise its young (Soler and Møller, 1996). This widely practiced
behavior within the Cuculidae family of birds has been shaped due to environmental changes and
coevolutionary relationships with other bird species (Briskie et. al, 1992). Among the 136 species of
Cuckoo birds, 53 of them perform brood parasitism (Krüger and Davies, 2002). Of these 53 species,
the most widespread within all of Europe is the Cuculus conorus, which is know as the common

Mojave Desert Land Trust Case Study
Because the service area is limited to the Mojave Desert region of California and due to the amount of
time since the organization s inception, few additional opportunities exist for further expansion and
increased success, however opportunity exists in building additional partnerships on the local and
regional level that will expand our services through different avenues resulting in other organizations
acting as a branch.
Another opportunity that exists involves winning increased support from the local High Desert
community, who views the organization as land grabbers and an impediment to their off road
enjoyment activities. Although there is a sizeable opposition that currently exists based on those
misguided beliefs, it can be overcome ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Address The Chosen Target For The Focus Learner
a. Why was it necessary to address the chosen target for the focus learner? Cite evidence and
specifically reference your IEP at a Glance and your RIOT/ICEL Assessment to support your decision.
[As Mentioned in the RIOT ICEL, MB struggles to turn in homework, and often turns in incomplete
assignments or assignments without a name; because of this, MB s learning target is to turn in
homework, complete and on time. In order to help her do this, she will be filling out a daily checklist
reminding her to check for assignments before leaving school, put her name on assignments, get her
assignments signed and finish her assignments on time and turn them in. This learning target is
important for MB to focus on because it will prepare her for public school, help her improve her
grades; help her learn self monitoring, and self regulation skills. As mentioned in the RIOT ICEL, MB
is in the TOPS program students are preparing for the transition back into public school. In public
school, students have to be able to monitor themselves and know how to manage their time effectively
so that they keep track of their homework, complete it, and turn it in on time. This is a vital
organizational skill MB needs to know in order to succeed in Public school, which will help develop
good grades and independence. ]

target. If you selected a learning target that addresses a skill not reflected in the

Gary Ridgeway The Green River Killer
Gary Ridgeway, A.K.A, the Green River Killer, was one of the most notorious serial killers in U.S
history. Over the course of two years in the 1980s nearly 50 lives were taken in the Seattle and
Tacoma areas of Washington. This case was given this name because of the location of all of the
bodies. Most of the bodies were dumped either in or around the Green River located in Washington.
Upon discovery of these bodies, the king county sheriff department formed a task force to attempt to
solve these murders. One of the interesting things the task force did was interview Ted Bundy to gain
insight as to what the killer may be planning next. In 1982 and again in 2001, Gary Ridgeway, was
arrested on charges that related to prostitution. This brought

Weddings, A rite of passage
A rite of passage is a public ceremony that marks, recognizes, celebrates or is believed to actually
cause a change in a person and her or his status, usually brought about or related to increasing age
(Peoples, Bailey). Almost every culture has rituals that signal a change in life. Marriage is one of the
most common rites of passage in any culture. Weddings and marriage ceremonies are clear transitions
from adolescence to adulthood. Some form of marriage is known to have existed in all human
societies. Its traditional function in most of these societies has been to stabilize sexual relations and to
unite a man and a woman in order to provide care for the young. In addition, marriage has linked and
allowed for economic exchanges between different kin groups and has served as the primary coming
of age ritual for women (Nelson). In America we are known for throwing lavish ceremonies and
expensive parties to celebrate the union between two people. I ve attended quite a few weddings and
participated in one during my lifetime thus far. Most weddings in the American culture follow the
same itinerary.
Before a wedding ceremony is thought of or takes place the couple preparing for marriage usually
separate from their families and begin to make a home together. During the separation phase from
each of his or her families an engagement occurs. A typical engagement consists of the man

Describe How To Make Up Research Paper
Ladies, are you going on a date and want to look good but not over do it? Here is how to do a casual
full face of makeup! You are going to need skin moisturizer, concealer, cover up, contour kit,
eyeshadow, eyebrow gel, lipstick, a beauty blending sponge, blending brush, eyeshadow brushes, eye
liner and an eyebrow utensil.
First step, you are going to use a moisturizer that is appropriate for your skin. Do not use one that will
leave your skin extra oily. A moisturizer that has a little bit of color to it would be great! Put it all over
your face and rub it in good!
Step two, apply your foundation with a sponge preferably. Make sure it is all blended. You can go over
it with some powder if you want! But with foundation, the main focus is to cover up your blemishes!

Henri Matisse Essay
Henri Matisse
Henri Matisse was born December 31st, 1869 to two storeowners, Emile and Heloise Matisse. His
father wanted him to be a lawyer, so later on in life he could takeover the family business. They sent
him to Henri Martin Grammar School where he studied to be a lawyer. There was a hint of artist in
Henri because while working as a lawyer s assistant he took up a drawing course (Essers 7). It was for
curtain design but it seemed to be destiny for a lawyer s assistant to take up such a distant hobby as
drawing. At the age of 21, his intestinal operation led to appendicitis. Henri was on bed rest for most
of 1890 and to help him occupy his time, his mother bought him a set of paints. That was the turning

Matisse then began studying at a school started by a fellow artist and friend Camillo because he was
not confident enough in his ability to be an independent artist. In 1903, Matisse started accepting
harshful commissions that took a toll on him. He became so sick that he though to give up painting.
This is when he produced Studio under the Eaves. Matisse told his son, That was the transition from
valeurs to colors (Essers 12). The next year he read Paul Signac s From Delacroix to Neo
Impressionism . Matisse began to move further away from the techniques and style of Impressionism.
The famous summer of 1905 was spent in Collioure with Derain and Maurice de Vlaminck. This
summer marked the most important turning point in Matisse s art career. During the summer, they
experimented with the pointillism techniques of Seurat, but towards the end of the summer, the three
artists had moved in a very different direction. The paintings produced in Collioure rejected
Impression and began a new movement. They exhibited their works in the Salon d Automne, which
they also founded in 1903. The paintings, View of Collioure and Le Bonheur de Vivre received loud
criticism from nearly everyone who had seen them. Louis Vauxcelles, gave them the name the Fauves
(Flam 79). They were nicknamed the wild beasts because of their use and experimentation with bright,
unnatural colors. Their grass was not green, but

Geographical Information System ( Gis )
Water withdrawal is the amount of water taken from the ground or surface water source and water use
is defined as the water which is withdrawn for specific purposes, such as domestic, irrigation,
industrial etc. With increasing population and climate change effects, the demands for water resources
are increased; as a result, ground water and surface water withdrawals become very important. Water
resources are essential for public use, power generation, agricultural production, recreation and so on.
However, increasing effects of climate change and population growth cause sustained water shortages
in the some regions of United States. Unfortunately, in some states, water demand has exceeded the
water supply. Thus, it is very important to know past and current water withdrawal amounts to shape
policy for wise use and management of water. Therefore, visual geospatial display of water
withdrawal data with a geographical information system (GIS) is an essential tool to address the issues
related to water resources. Geographical information system (GIS) is a combination of a graphic
presentation and database. It is a general purpose technology that uses geographic data in digital form.
The abilities of GIS include processing the data into a form, which is suitable for analysis, supporting
spatial analysis and modeling, and post processing results. Moreover, it can give spatial representation
of water resources systems and bring spatial dimensions into the water resource

Garden City And Garden City
Introduction
In late 19th, because of a dramatic increase of population, increasing urbanization and
industrialization, cities had been overcrowded and the environment was being destroyed as well.
Furthermore, more and more people moved to the urban cities from rural area for having more job
opportunities. Consequently, cities were over centralizing. It is contributed to the slums in city which
is the cause of disease breaking out. It leads to the decrease of human s life quality in urban cities.
Moudon (1997) points out that control by the private sector, unhealthy rapid economic growth,

These cities would have adequate space of residential habitation, industrial work and agricultural
production. In order to shift people who moving to the urban cites to the suburbs, a concept of garden
city setting was coming out by Ebenezer Howard. His idea was inspired by the utopian wave which
existed from mid and the close of 19th century. Howard (1902) idealized that in garden city, a 6,000
acre site would have 32,000 people living in. Furthermore, there was a sustaining potential which is
the limit of the population density in garden city plan, so they would build a new garden city nearby
when another city has reached the limit. In Howard s book, there is a central city surrounded by lots of
garden cities which could afford 50,000 people. Roads and rail is the way linking those garden cities.
The aim of garden city planning is to create a beautiful, sociable and healthy communities with both a
good natural environment and high quality of housing affordability. A combination of the active and
energetic city lifestyle with the delight and the beauty of the countryside was the way to achieve it.
Moreover, in order to well organize the garden city movement, a concept of town, country, and town
country magnets was published in Howard s book. According to Howard (1902), different magnets
have different characteristics. Town magnet with refers to urban city is presenting high

Slaughter Is The Violent Killing Of A Large Number Of People
Slaughter. As defined by the Merriam Webster Dictionary, slaughter is the violent killing of a large
number of people. Synonyms including; bloodbath, butchery, carnage, death, holocaust, massacre. I,
for one, hate this ugly word. It causes several things to come to mind when I hear it muttered: The
Holocaust, genocide, death, all of the repulsive and vial occurrences of the world summed in one
word. It s a grim topic, and most certainly one that doesn t occur in the US anymore, right? After all,
one of the world s leading super powers couldn t possibly be dealing with a magnanimous amount of
bloodshed on our lands. Am I correct? Well, what if I told you that over 3.7 billion farm animals are
killed every year in the United States for food. The ongoing slaughter of billions of animals a year,
with little thought or consideration to the inhumane abuse that these animals experience, is a
saddening truth that shouldn t be a fact today. Many say that the process of farming today is a marvel,
with the fact that we can feed an entire nation so quickly. There is no famine, no lack of food at any
time. It is a marvel we can create such a method that is so effective to feed thousands a day and I
would agree if animals that are killed for food weren t treated like a machine on an assembly line.
Several companies, like Perdue, make claims that their animals are treated righteously, live happy, and

The Role Of Judges Lawyers And Lay People Within The...
Merit compare and contrast the role of judges ,lawyers and lay people within the English courts.
In this task I will write a report about comparing the roles of judges, lawyers and lay people within the
English courts.
Solicitors and barristers are both known as lawyers this term lawyer is used to describe anyone who is
a qualified legal practitioner. One of the main differences is the job role a solicitor is a legal expert
who provides expert legal advice and they come into more contact with their clients who could be
people, groups or businesses. Whereas a Barrister represents the individual people and the
organisation within the courts, they can also be distinguished from a solicitor because they wear a wig
and a gown in the court. One thing they both have in common is that they both can give legal advice
to their clients. On a day to day basis a solicitor will deal with the majority of the paperwork for
example, writing documents, contracts and letter this is all related to their clients .and take specific
instructions from their clients, depending on where they are specialist in they will be able to give
useful advice on the legal action. Whilst a barrister would mainly focus on advocacy which is to
represent their clients in court, they are normally hired by a solicitors and take instructions from there.
There main role is to represent their client cases in a persuasive representation in order to get the best
outcome for their client. The Legal services act 1990

Resilience Is An Aspect Of Health
Resilience in People Approaching the End of Their Lives
Introduction
Resilience reflects the ability of someone to maintain a stable equilibrium(1), that is to retain a sense
of identity or self(2), when dealing with adversity or misfortune. Highly resilient individuals are
capable of coping with unexpected challenges, and may have a number of mechanisms or strategies to
help them do so. Resilience is an aspect of health that is becoming increasingly recognised in
medicine(3), as having resilience enables self care and self healing, which is beneficial in multiple
ways. By being actively involved in his or her own wellbeing, a patient is likely to have better
outcomes(3). In addition, healthcare resources are conserved, allowing them to be used to help a
patient with less resilience. Although the importance of resilience in carers of the ill cannot be
understated, in this essay I will primarily focus on resilience in patients approaching end of life, as
there is a great deal for them to go through, all the way from diagnosis to death. The concept of
resilience itself is something we are all familiar with in one way or another. I experienced seeing
resilience being tested firsthand from watching my parents deal with my father s cancer diagnosis,
treatment and eventual passing all in the span of just over a year. On one of my GP home visits I was
quite affected by talking to Mr A, an elderly man with COPD who was living with his wife, who had

Land Use Development Patterns And The International...
INTRODUCTION
1.0 BACKGROUND TO STUDY
Land use development patterns (also called urban form, built environment, community design, spatial
development, and urban geography) is referred to as the human use of the earth s surface, including
the location, type and design of infrastructure such as roads and buildings. Land use patterns can have
diverse economic, social and environmental impacts and some are more accessible and so reduce
transportation costs to businesses and consumers.
Transportation on the other hand is the movement of people, information and goods from one location
to another. The specific purpose of transportation is to fulfill a demand for mobility, since
transportation can only exists if it moves people, freight and information around. Otherwise it has no
purpose. Since the 18th century till now, urbanization, multinational corporations, the globalization of
trade and the international division of labor are all forces shaping and taking advantage of
transportation at different, but often related, scales. Consequently, the fundamental purpose of
transport is geographic in nature, because it facilitates movements between different locations.
Transport thus plays a role in the structure and organization of space and territories, which may vary
according to the level of development.

Which made it more challenging to keep up with all the class work, tests, quizzes, and homework.

We then had to find a primary source ourselves from Modern Times about Transportation. After that
was complete, our second task was to create and design a storyboard for our actual PSA. My group
and I went with a simple task of just drawing out the pictures we had in mind and putting captions on
them. In our storyboard we presented steam trains, steam boats from the Industrial Revolution and
how the invention of the steam engine bettered but also damaged the world. We then showed cruise
ships, trains from modern times. We showed that for modern times trains are used for going to point A
to point B, and boats for example a cruise ship is for luxury. All in all, this bettered transportation for
the future. As time passes, transportation gets better and better. Since the Industrial Revolution the
problem with transportation hasn t changed, it s altered a bit but it s still the same problem. That is
problem is pollution. For example, cars, they run on gasoline and they produce and release exhaust
which pollutes the air. Polluting the air only harms us, so

Beethoven Concert Symphony No 6
BEETHOVEN CONCERTS
The Pastorale Symphony and the Emperor Piano Concerto, one named by Ludwig van Beethoven and
the other by a friend, are splendid examples of Beethoven s musical acumen. These pieces are more
formally known as Beethoven s Symphony No. 6 and Piano Concerto No. 5. This concert report will
cover both pieces and will contain my impressions of each piece. Symphony No. 6 Pastorale was
performed by the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, and was conducted by Paavo Jarvi during
their Beethoven series. Piano Concerto No. 5 Emperor was performed by Murray Perahia (Piano)
accompanied by the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, conducted by Neville Marriner. The dates of
the performances are not known because this ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The five movements of Beethoven s Symphony No. 6 Pastorale draw listeners in with a quick, but
leisurely tempo and rich developed movements. The symphony seemingly flows and fits the titles
beautifully. It is easy to paint a picture of a noble countryside, nature, and all the activities it entails.
Beethoven s Piano Concerto No.5 Emperor is a three part traditional concerto, an Allegro, Adagio, and
the Rondo. This concerto was named Emperor because of the powerful themes and heroic note of the
composition (www.all about beethoven.com/concerto5.html).
The opening of the concerto brings a main theme introduced by a solo piano with the full orchestra
providing a dramatic presence of several chords. The piano flourishes grow in length until reaching a
cadenza after the third time. The full orchestra joins in and carries the theme into the full exposition.
The theme is bold with a pleasant interjection of a second subject that seems to tiptoe through the
movement. The orchestra stays in the tonic key as the piano modulates and reaches a wide variety of
tones as the scales are worked. The development of the movement effectively flips the lead. The
orchestra now leads and the piano accompanies. The main theme rhythm is reinforced by a powerful
bassoon. The coda is lead by horns and joined by the rest of the orchestra to a thrilling close.
The second movement is a slow movement and begins quietly

Of course, when playing games, you can use a key mapper in order to control the inputs. You can use
the xbox or playstation controllers on the PC, or even the Wii motion controls with enough
modification. Since the whole PC platform is so varied, I can only give an opinion and insight onto a
small part of it. To do this, I will detail my own system in order to explain how the platform can be
customised. Some of the parts were bought over 4 years ago, so prices have varied a lot. Case The
case, which I have for my computer, is the Antec P280. This is one of the parts of the computer where
I wish I bought something different at the time. I overspent on the case, and should have researched

It keeps all of the parts connected to it through the use of different connections configured through the
use of a north and south bridge. Depending on the architecture of the PC, these areas become fairly
different. However, the CPU is located always on the north bridge, and is connected through either a
land grid array socket or a pin grid array socket, depending on if you have an Intel or AMD CPU. The
RAM is also connected through the use of the north bridge. The north bridge generally is to access
data fast. The south bridge is where the mass storage is located, along with any I/O for the computer.
This includes USB ports, and audio ports or sound cards, and even the video card. This is due to the
lesser amount of information that some of the connections need. Obviously, with advancements in
recent years, the speeds that the south bridge supports have increased tremendously. For example, a
SATA port on the south bridge can transfer

Pros And Cons Of The Us Constitution
The majority of Americans have in general an incredibly positive view of their Constitution, believing
that it strikes a good balance between effective government and protection of individual liberty.
However, the Constitution does have a huge number of critics that claim that it is no longer fit for its
purpose. The US constitution is seen by many to be an incredibly important aspect of the US
governmental system. The constitution purposefully has an incredibly large amount of vagueness for
such an important document and this has allowed for a large amount of changes which have been
necessary as time has progressed, an example of this is the transformation of power from different
branches of the government to the executive. This has allowed the constitution to change with the
times and not become extremely outdated. This is incredibly key as if the document was written with
no excess room then the Constitution would not have been able to move or adjust with the social
needs of the country thus leaving the constitution extremely outdated and would ... Show more content

This system was Initially set as the forefathers were afraid of the mob meaning that they feared that a
national popular vote would create a tyranny of the majority. However, this system is extremely
outdated and no longer represents the people when electing their president. The electoral college can
mean that the winner of the popular vote does not then win the presidency. An example of this is the
latest presidential election where Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by a total of approximately 2.9
million votes whilst trump won the presidency. This example goes part of the way to show how
outdated and irrelevant the system has become. Full electoral reform which is what is needed, would
not be possible with the current Constitution, leading to the fact that the constitution is no longer fit

Perspectives on Wellness Essay
What is wellness? Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a
healthy life. Wellness is also a process for change and growth (Health Topic What is wellness?). To
have acceptable wellness you should have an equal amount of social, emotional/mental, and physical
health. I, myself, believe that I have an okay wellness, I mean not like full wellness but just enough to

It is important to think about your behaviors because you need think about how it will affect you and
the other person. If you call someone ugly and say just kidding you don t know how that person will
feel about you saying that. The person might be laughing now, but later they will look back at that
comment and start thinking about if they are ugly or not. There are people who can take jokes, there
are people who can t. Just put together who is and isn t. There are times in class when you are learning
something, and there is that one person who wants to talk in class when you re learning. They aren t
thinking about how they are making others feel, just themselves. When you say something they start
getting defensive for no reason. That s why you don t say something. You can t do anything but tell the

There are samples of 45 units from each facility.
The required test will be a test for two independent samples ; the Z test and the t test are generally
used. The Z test is used with large samples (above 30 observations) and the t test with small samples.
Alternatively, the Z test can be used with smaller samples when the data are normally distributed and
population variances are known. In this case with a sample of 45 automobiles from each facility, the Z
test can be used. Here, we only seek to examine whether the gas mileage is the same for products of
the two facilities. Hence a two tailed test is appropriate. If on the other had if we sought to examine
whether automobiles from facility A produced automobiles that gave a higher gas mileage than those
manufactured at facility B, then a one tailed test would be appropriate.

Improvements on the Evaluation Scope of Evaluation I would continue to use a mixed method
approach in the evaluation of the summer programs. However, I would first address the survey and
interview questions, and how the observation process occurred. Before doing anything else I would
attempt to make sure that these questions being evaluated were being asked in a manner suited to the
age appropriateness of the participants. This may entail that several different versions of the surveys to
exist. I would also ensure that the number of questions each survey contained was limited in hopes to
increase accuracy and completion due to the limited amount of time needed for completion. In the
questions asked, I would make sure to ask how the summer program impacted the participants.
Additionally, I would also survey the parents of the participants to get a take on what their perceptions
of the summer program were. Criterion Following revamping the scope of the evaluation a criterion in
which the data will be compared would be established. The established criterion would be presented in
the evaluation in length. The current evaluation seems to arbitrarily make a judgment of the worth of
the program, and there were no references to the criterion process used.

Leadership Into The Next Millennium
1.) The concept that I have acquired and would to discuss is leadership into the next millennium .
There are many leaders that share similar but different leadership approaches. But for all leaders,
communication is critical to the success of their vision and their approach to how their vision is
utilized within their organization. Communication needs to takes place at all levels from initial
training to senior management training roles. A leader will use communication to relay information to
all employees at all levels. When doing so, all employees should understand why the organization
exists, what the organization does, what the long term growth outlook is and most importantly in my
opinion, the important things the company does not do. When leaders use clear and honest
communication they are increasing their chances that the employees will build positive emotional
bank account deposits while building trust. An employee will trust that leader to communicate during
positive and negative times. The leader will also value their employees and will genuinely care about
their employees. Unlike traditional leadership where people were counted as expendable and
replaceable, the new approach to leadership values the asset which is the employee. For example, a
leader will have meeting with all levels of management to explain and go over in detail a vision in
which the lower level employees will be able to share their vision. This shared vision has the potential
to create new

Biography of Bob Marley Essay
Biography of Bob Marley Bob Marley was known for his accomplishment in the revolution of reggae
music. A great impact in his life was his belief in Rastafari which is about people turning to a natural
type of life style. While Bob was trying to get his music career going and fallow his belief in
Rastafari, he had a lot of struggles. All three of these things helped Bob accomplish everything he

By the end of the 1960 s, with the legendary reggae producer Lee Scratch Perry at the mixing desk,
The Wailers were again back at the top in Jamaica. The combination of the Wailers and Perry resulted
in some of the finest music the band ever made. Tracks like Soul Rebel, Duppy Conquerer, 400 Years,
and Small Axe were not only classics, but they defined the future direction of reggae.(Bob Marley
Bio) It s difficult to properly understand Bob Marley s music without considering Rastafari. His
spiritual beliefs are too well known to necessitate further explanation. It must be stated, however, that
Rastafari is at the very center of the Wailers music. His music and lyrics worked as the rhetoric of the
Rastafarian movement against oppression, exploitation and racism in Jamaica. Using metaphors to
describe the hardships of the political fights of Jamaicans and Africans Marley established himself as
the spokesman of a race and culture. The Rastafari religion, the heart of Bob s music, based itself in
belief of Jah, which was a metaphor for a god of goodness and love. Jah was the force fighting against
the oppression from Babylon, the destructive force.(Hot shot rock tributes) Metaphors of oppression
and freedom, such as chains and birds, depict social problems and ways of liberation (Jensen). Many
of Marley s lyrics included these references and therefore fell into the latitude

  • 2. The Agricultural Revolution And The Industrial Revolution The Industrial Revolution is where the production of machine made goods increased greatly. This took place in the 1700s in England. Before the Industrial Revolution happened these goods were produced handmade. I think the agricultural revolution was a pretty big part of the Industrial Revolution. The agricultural revolution had a couple key parts. The first one is crop rotation which increase food supplies and living conditions for the people in England. They were able to plant a whole field of something and the next year be able to plant the same field with a whole new crop. Another key point is the wealthy landowners took the land from the villagers which allowed them to make larger fields called enclosures. With having these enclosures it allowed the owners to try many different ways to plant their food. Jethro Tull was a scientific farmer who realized that planting seed by throwing it out didn t get all of the seed to grow. He thought it was wasteful so he decided to create the seed drill in 1701. The seed drill let the farmers put the seed in perfectly spaced rows at certain depths. This invention boosted the crops in a pretty big way. Without these advancements in agriculture the industrial revolution wouldn t have been the way it was. The agriculture revolution treated many different ways to more efficiently make more crops and what the industrial revolution is, is the output of machine made goods. With these new advancements you can create many more machine made ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Passionate Shepherd to His Love, written by Christopher Marlowe, which is introduced with an innocent tone, broad syntax, and subtle symbolism. However, the Carpe diem poem To The Virgins, To Make Much of Time, written by Andrew Marvell, appears to be the least persuasive due to its hasty tone, figurative language and presumed audience. Also, the poems share their similarities due to their diction, conceits and underlying themes along with a few differences among their rhyme schemes. The Passionate Shepherd to His Love written by Christopher Marlowe is the most persuasive Carpe diem poem due to its tones, syntax structure and targeted audience. For instance, (lines 1 2) it states, Come live with me and be my love, And we will all the pleasures prove. This quote reveals an innocent, naive tone within the poem. Also, the first line is an imperative sentence, but presented gently rather than forceful similar to an euphemism. The writer s choice of the word yield in line four is the syntax for the love he and his lover are going to prove. Yield refers to submitting, and the writer believes the valleys, groves, hills, and fields, woods, or steepy mountain will submit due their innocent love. Also in line twelve the writer states Embroidered all with leaves ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Testing Is A Viable Software Verification Technique Abstract Although Concolic testing is increasingly being explored as a viable software verification technique, its adoption in mainstream software development and testing in the industry is not yet extensive. In this paper, we discuss challenges to widespread adoption of Concolic testing in an industrial setting and highlight further opportunities where Concolic testing can find renewed applicability. Keywords concolic testing; security testing; dynamic analysis; pre silicon validation; malware analysis; firmware testing; I. INTRODUCTION The growing complexity of today s software demands sophisticated software analysis tools and techniques to enable the development of robust, reliable and secure software. Moreover, increasing usage of third party libraries or plugins where source code is not readily available presents additional challenges to effective software testing [11]. The cost to fix bugs prior to releasing the software is often times much lower than the cost to fix bugs post release, especially in the case of security bugs. A number of automated software testing tools and techniques are commonly used in the industry. While automation significantly reduces the overhead of manual testing, finding deeply embedded security defects is not always automatable. Furthermore, automated software testing is prone to false positives or false negatives. Hence, there is a burgeoning need to advance the state of the art in software testing. In this context, Concolic testing is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. A Research Study On The Bird Family Cuculidae One of the biggest investments in a species life goes towards reproducing and raising offspring. Most species will spend lots of time, energy, and resources into raising their offspring and can be costly to their own survival. Although some parents will risk about anything to successfully raise their young and increase their fitness. How much time and energy is spent on raising offspring greatly varies among species and mostly depends on their evolutionary history. Brood parasitism is a mischievous way for a parent to avoid raising its own young, which can provide many advantages. However, this behavior has not always been so advantageous and has been shaped through environmental pressures. The bird family Cuculidae has perhaps the most diverse breeding strategies within any other bird species and has long puzzled biologists (Rothstein, 1990). One of the major breeding strategies within the Cuculidae family is brood parasitism. Brood parasitism is the manipulation of a host, of either the same species or a different species, to raise its young (Soler and Møller, 1996). This widely practiced behavior within the Cuculidae family of birds has been shaped due to environmental changes and coevolutionary relationships with other bird species (Briskie et. al, 1992). Among the 136 species of Cuckoo birds, 53 of them perform brood parasitism (Krüger and Davies, 2002). Of these 53 species, the most widespread within all of Europe is the Cuculus conorus, which is know as the common ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Cite evidence and specifically reference your IEP at a Glance and your RIOT/ICEL Assessment to support your decision. [As Mentioned in the RIOT ICEL, MB struggles to turn in homework, and often turns in incomplete assignments or assignments without a name; because of this, MB s learning target is to turn in homework, complete and on time. In order to help her do this, she will be filling out a daily checklist reminding her to check for assignments before leaving school, put her name on assignments, get her assignments signed and finish her assignments on time and turn them in. This learning target is important for MB to focus on because it will prepare her for public school, help her improve her grades; help her learn self monitoring, and self regulation skills. As mentioned in the RIOT ICEL, MB is in the TOPS program students are preparing for the transition back into public school. Almost every culture has rituals that signal a change in life. Marriage is one of the most common rites of passage in any culture. Weddings and marriage ceremonies are clear transitions from adolescence to adulthood. Some form of marriage is known to have existed in all human societies. Its traditional function in most of these societies has been to stabilize sexual relations and to unite a man and a woman in order to provide care for the young. In addition, marriage has linked and allowed for economic exchanges between different kin groups and has served as the primary coming of age ritual for women (Nelson). In America we are known for throwing lavish ceremonies and expensive parties to celebrate the union between two people. I ve attended quite a few weddings and participated in one during my lifetime thus far. Most weddings in the American culture follow the same itinerary. In this task I will write a report about comparing the roles of judges, lawyers and lay people within the English courts. Solicitors and barristers are both known as lawyers this term lawyer is used to describe anyone who is a qualified legal practitioner. One of the main differences is the job role a solicitor is a legal expert who provides expert legal advice and they come into more contact with their clients who could be people, groups or businesses. Whereas a Barrister represents the individual people and the organisation within the courts, they can also be distinguished from a solicitor because they wear a wig and a gown in the court. On a day to day basis a solicitor will deal with the majority of the paperwork for example, writing documents, contracts and letter this is all related to their clients .and take specific instructions from their clients, depending on where they are specialist in they will be able to give useful advice on the legal action. Whilst a barrister would mainly focus on advocacy which is to represent their clients in court, they are normally hired by a solicitors and take instructions from there. Resilience Is An Aspect Of Health Resilience in People Approaching the End of Their Lives Introduction Resilience reflects the ability of someone to maintain a stable equilibrium(1), that is to retain a sense of identity or self(2), when dealing with adversity or misfortune. Highly resilient individuals are capable of coping with unexpected challenges, and may have a number of mechanisms or strategies to help them do so. Resilience is an aspect of health that is becoming increasingly recognised in medicine(3), as having resilience enables self care and self healing, which is beneficial in multiple ways. INTRODUCTION 1.0 BACKGROUND TO STUDY Land use development patterns (also called urban form, built environment, community design, spatial development, and urban geography) is referred to as the human use of the earth s surface, including the location, type and design of infrastructure such as roads and buildings. Land use patterns can have diverse economic, social and environmental impacts and some are more accessible and so reduce transportation costs to businesses and consumers. Transportation on the other hand is the movement of people, information and goods from one location to another. The specific purpose of transportation is to fulfill a demand for mobility, since transportation can only exists if it moves people, freight and information around. Otherwise it has no purpose. Since the 18th century till now, urbanization, multinational corporations, the globalization of trade and the international division of labor are all forces shaping and taking advantage of transportation at different, but often related, scales. • 26. Pros And Cons Of The Us Constitution The majority of Americans have in general an incredibly positive view of their Constitution, believing that it strikes a good balance between effective government and protection of individual liberty. However, the Constitution does have a huge number of critics that claim that it is no longer fit for its purpose. However, this system is extremely outdated and no longer represents the people when electing their president. An example of this is the latest presidential election where Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by a total of approximately 2.9 million votes whilst trump won the presidency. This example goes part of the way to show how outdated and irrelevant the system has become. Full electoral reform which is what is needed, would not be possible with the current Constitution, leading to the fact that the constitution is no longer fit for ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Z test is used with large samples (above 30 observations) and the t test with small samples. Alternatively, the Z test can be used with smaller samples when the data are normally distributed and population variances are known. In this case with a sample of 45 automobiles from each facility, the Z test can be used. Here, we only seek to examine whether the gas mileage is the same for products of the two facilities. However, I would first address the survey and interview questions, and how the observation process occurred. Before doing anything else I would attempt to make sure that these questions being evaluated were being asked in a manner suited to the age appropriateness of the participants. This may entail that several different versions of the surveys to exist. I would also ensure that the number of questions each survey contained was limited in hopes to increase accuracy and completion due to the limited amount of time needed for completion. In the questions asked, I would make sure to ask how the summer program impacted the participants. Additionally, I would also survey the parents of the participants to get a take on what their perceptions of the summer program were. Criterion Following revamping the scope of the evaluation a criterion in which the data will be compared would be established. The established criterion would be presented in the evaluation in length. The current evaluation seems to arbitrarily make a judgment of the worth of the program, and there were no references to the criterion process used. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

There are many leaders that share similar but different leadership approaches. But for all leaders, communication is critical to the success of their vision and their approach to how their vision is utilized within their organization. Communication needs to takes place at all levels from initial training to senior management training roles. A leader will use communication to relay information to all employees at all levels. When doing so, all employees should understand why the organization exists, what the organization does, what the long term growth outlook is and most importantly in my opinion, the important things the company does not do. When leaders use clear and honest communication they are increasing their chances that the employees will build positive emotional bank account deposits while building trust. An employee will trust that leader to communicate during positive and negative times. The leader will also value their employees and will genuinely care about their employees. Unlike traditional leadership where people were counted as expendable and replaceable, the new approach to leadership values the asset which is the employee. For example, a leader will have meeting with all levels of management to explain and go over in detail a vision in which the lower level employees will be able to share their vision. His spiritual beliefs are too well known to necessitate further explanation. It must be stated, however, that Rastafari is at the very center of the Wailers music. His music and lyrics worked as the rhetoric of the Rastafarian movement against oppression, exploitation and racism in Jamaica. Using metaphors to describe the hardships of the political fights of Jamaicans and Africans Marley established himself as the spokesman of a race and culture.
