Humans Need to Belong
Belonging is at the core of the human condition. A significant individual can nurture or prevent a
sense of belonging in individuals, groups or communities and is a prevalent concept in the
autobiographies Romulus, My Father by Raimond Gaita and I know why the caged bird sings by
Maya Angelou, a story about growing up African American in 1930s. These texts explore how a
mentoring figure, an individual s insecurities and how confidence and self esteem in a community can
instil or prohibit a sense of belonging.
An individual s insecurities can prevent a sense of belonging in a community is an idea demonstrated
in Romulus, My Father through Christine. Social pressures of gender roles and the barrenness feed an
insecurity that is artificially relieved by longing for company and seducing men to gain a sense of
power and connection. However it further alienates herself My mother had other lovers and he was
tormented by jealousy... my mother and he quarrelled over her infidelities. The use of vivid language
tormented and quarrelled, highlight how her actions, result of her insecurities, strain the relationship
between her and Mitru. This also serves to characterise Christine in the early chapters, as the villain
and due to the autobiographical nature of this text, reflects Raimond s disconnect to his mother.
Therefore Christine and her insecurities prevent a sense of belonging between her, Mitru and
Raimond.
Similarly in I know why the caged bird sings Maya s

Rhetorical Analysis Of Gatorade s The Secret To Victory
Gatorade s most recent commercial, The Secret to Victory, focuses on defeat to help make their
advertisement effective. The commercial starts out with Michael Jordan, a star basketball player, who
asks, You want to know the secret to victory? This bold question grabs the attention of the audience.
The commercial continues with many star athletes, present and past, that state a time where they failed
in their respective careers. Later on, NFL quarterback Matt Ryan, answers Jordan s proposed question
with defeat, after a scene of him losing in the Super Bowl. In this essay, I will argue that Gatorade s
The Secret to Victory commercial is very effective by using rhetorical components and focusing on
defeat. The target audience for Gatorade is for athletes, but this commercial does a great job of
reaching out to a wide range of athletes. The advertisement targets athletes of the older generation,
along with athletes that are young. Gatorade uses two retired players, Peyton Manning and Michael
Jordan, along with two players nearing the end of their careers, Eli Manning and Serena Williams, and
three players that are currently in their prime, Kyle Schwarber, Matt Ryan, and Karl Anthony Towns.
The different ages in the commercial are extremely effective because athletes that would be interested
in Gatorade s products vary in age, and Gatorade had to appeal to all generations of athletes. Also, the
inclusion of Serena Williams can appeal to the female athletes that view the

Genetic Disease And Its Effects On The Body
Introduction Genetic diseases are being discovered more often as we learn the affects that genes have
on the body. McArdle s disease is a metabolic disease that affects skeletal muscle because of a gene
mutation. The genetic mutation prevents the creation of the enzyme myophosphorylase. This enzyme
is responsible for the breakdown of glycogen in muscles (Haldeman Englert, 2014). McArdle s
disease is also known as Type V Glycogen Storage Disorder. It affects approximately one out of every
100,000 people ( McArdlesDisease.org, n.d.). Glycogen is broken down into glucose, which is used to
produce adenosine triphosphate for muscle energy. Patients can live relatively normal lives with this
disease once proper care and education has been provided (Kitaoka, 2014).
Genetic Nature McArdle s disease is seen as muscle dysfunction caused by a mutation in the gene that
codes for the enzyme myophosphorylase. The myophosphorylase gene, PYGM, is located at
chromosome 11q13 (Kitaoka, 2014). There have been over 100 mutations of the gene detected. In
North American Caucasians, the mutation commonly found is the p.R50X (Kitaoka, 2014). In
Japanese patients, it is found to be the p.F709del/F710de mutation (Kitaoka, 2014). Researchers have
seen a correlation between ethnicity and the type of mutation of that they carry. All the mutations
cause a lack of the myophosphorylase enzyme in the muscle tissue. It is found to be an autosomal
recessive inheritance trait. Those who are heterozygotes

Proposal For Higher Education
Current Research
Current research over student debt and its burden has allowed an insight and analyzation over the
government s role in higher education at the federal, state, and local level. Through data of institution
cost efficiency and inefficiency, tax exporting, and the backgrounds of student borrowers,
policymakers and can create a visual representation of the importance of state allocations towards
higher education.
Government matters. A study done by Sav (2016), explores the decreases in state and federal Pell
Grant funding for public colleges in the United States whose funding decreased from 32% to 23%
from 2004 2013. Sav s study concluded that state funding appropriations contributed significantly to
the higher education ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Second, it is crucial that the states, rather than the federal government solely, play a more concrete
role in reducing the burden for millions of student borrowers. Third, policymakers should take into
consideration the dynamics and backgrounds of the student body in higher education institutions when
considering appropriations.
Collective Themes
Several themes and elements are recurrent in this research of college affordability. Federalism
concerns add fuel to the debate of the role of government in higher education policymaking. Ethical,
equity, economic, and political issues arise that divide citizens between considering higher education a
public or a private good, whether it has economic benefits, and whether it is worth taxpayer dollars.
The themes are consistent through the perspectives of the history, media, government enactments,
public opinion, political parties, interest groups and research.
Federalism
The relationship between the national government and state governments has changed and expanded
immensely (Kraft Furlong, 2015). How does the issue of rising tuition, high student loan interests, and
student debt detail federalism? The authority of each level of government is questioned in education
policy. How much power should the national government have over higher education?
Constitutionally, the national government only has explicitly enumerated

Advantages Of Rolling Bags For Nursing School
Best rolling bag for nursing students What are the best rolling bags for nursing students? To be honest,
nursing books are heavy and numerous. Although it might not be necessary to carry all books along to
school, there will surely be times when you must tote several of them at once. Moreover, while on
campus, you will probably do a lot of walking and it will not be easy toting heavy books. Research
shows, carrying heavy books in small back packs on a constant basis can lead to long term back ache.
I doubt if anyone will want to begin a nursing career with prolong back pain issues. This unnecessary
pain can simply be avoided by using the proper tote bag. Although there are a lot of choices in tote
bags for nursing student, not all bags are equal. Thus, when purchasing a rolling bag for nursing
school, functionality should be the first thing to consider. You should ask yourself the following
questions; will the bag hold a reasonable number of books? is there enough space for other stuffs such
as laptops, tablets and nursing materials? You really need to consider these questions because most
rolling bags available in the market do not have enough space to hold laptops and tablets. In addition,
you must check if there are side pockets and areas of storage for extras such as keys, smartphones and
water bottles. Another important quality to watch out for is durability. Some more things to think

The Empire State Building In The New York City
New York City is full of city landmarks and key pieces to any vacation. It holds some of the world s
most treasured wonders. This city has been through many hard times such as The Great Depression
and World War II, and it has been through good ones too. But none as memorable as The Empire State
Building. The Empire State Building is an important building with interesting facts that are wonderful
to learn.
The Empire State Building was built in a race. In the late 1920 s, builders wanted to construct the
tallest building. The main competition was between the Empire State Building and the Chrysler
Building. After many changes the Empire State Building finally won the title of the tallest building in
the world. This record would stand for 40 years. Its structure is modeled after two buildings which are
the Reynold s Building in North Carolina and Carew Tower in Cincinnati. The Empire State Building
s name came from a nickname for New York, the Empire State. The tower at the top, initially it was
supposed to be designed as a mooring mast for airships. Unfortunately, high winds made this
extremely difficult. This plan is now deserted due to the closest thing to a landing was in September
1931, when an airship tethered itself to the spire for a little while.
It took approximately 20 months, a record time, with using 3,400 men per day to fully construct the
building. (History.com) The Empire State Building s skeleton was built at a rate of four and a half
stories a week.

Emotional Intelligence In Health Care Essay
Before discussing how a healthcare worker uses emotional intelligence when establishing
communication with a client in a health care environment, it is imperative to first have a clear
understanding of what emotional intelligence is. Only then can we assess how it is used by a
healthcare worker when communicating with client and its relevance in such a setting. Defining what
communication means in this context is also important to understanding how a healthcare worker uses
emotional intelligence to establish effective discourse with a client. Communication is much more
than just words and encompasses intrapersonal, interpersonal and observational skills which are
critical when communicating with a client. With this in mind, it could be ... Show more content on

As McEwen and Kraszewski (2010, p.1) point out, understanding and engaging various modes of
communication affords the healthcare worker an opportunity to critically analyse the interactions
between themselves and the patient. Information garnered through this analysis can prove vital when
formulating an individual care plan for the patient. The links between emotional intelligence and
communicating effectively can now be seen as taking a holistic approach to patient care. Establishing
trust and respect is the foundation of good communication, and the use of emotional intelligence
allows the healthcare worker to address the needs of a patient individually and this cultivates trust and
respect within the relationship. However, as Birks and Watt (2007, p.368) point out, the level of
emotional intelligence each healthcare worker possesses will vary and empirical studies measuring
emotional intelligence are flawed. This brings into question any ideas of uniformity in the emotional
intelligence approach to patient care. As such, developing consistent levels of effective
communication within a healthcare environment through the use of emotional intelligence seems
unlikely. This view is countered by Ioannidou and Konstantikaki (2008, p. 121), who suggest that
emotional intelligence is something that can be taught. With the acceptance of this idea and with the
use of the previously defined model of emotional intelligence, we can see how

Review Of Dennett s Quining Qualia
Paper 1 Question 3: Dennett s Quining Qualia
Daniel Dennett looks to quine qualia, or completely disprove their existence, in Quining Qualia. He is
successful in creating a theoretical framework by which many intuitive arguments for qualia can be
struck down. Because of his success, an argument from introspection is difficult to make; Dennett
seems to successfully refute many of the arguments given by intuition or folk psychology. I will adopt
Eugene Park s criticism in critiquing Dennett, showing that an argument from introspection can
provide some insight into how qualia might exist. Park argues that relying on memory comparison is
incomplete, and unfairly eliminates direct apprehensibility.
Introduction
In Quining Qualia, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This makes qualia inherently private. The fourth and last quality is direct apprehensibility to
consciousness. This describes the fact that we know everything about our own qualia, and we can
easily access all of its properties. Dennett explains that because qualia are properties of my
experiences, they therefore must be accessible to one s conscious states (229).
The coffee test case: Intuition pump 7 Chase and Sanborn Dennett uses the seventh intuition pump to
explore the relationship between qualia and reactive attitudes to those qualia. The situation involves
two coffee tasters who work for Maxwell House, ensuring that each batch is of consistent quality.
After six years of tastings, both Chase and Sanborn declare that they used to like the taste of the
coffee, but that this is no longer the case. Chase says that he thinks that the coffee tastes the same as it
did six years ago, but that he has become a more sophisticated coffee drinker and his more
unfavorable reaction (or reactive attitude) towards the coffee has decreased his enjoyment of it.
Sanborn, however, does not like the coffee because he says his taste buds have changed, and now the
coffee tastes worse than before. Sanborn claims that his taste qualia have changed, not his reactive
attitude towards the coffee. It is difficult, however, to discern whether Chase and Sanborn are actually
correct in

Who Is The Jerk In The Scarlet Letter
Hawthorne s Arthur Dimmesdale and Roger Chillingworth have never been characters free of
controversial discourse in the 19th century Romantic novel, The Scarlet Letter. The topic on which of
the two characters is the bigger jerk often leaves readers scratching their heads. After all, both
characters extensively worry about themselves while pursuing self satisfaction, at the expense of
Hester Prynne, in particular. However, there are a handful of individuals that believe that
Chillingworth s intellectual superiority and manipulative plans conveniently label him as a jerk. But,
the only label of jerk that can be applied to him is that of an emotionally insecure jerk. Dimmesdale,
on the other hand, a man that appears to be holy, embodies selfishness. ... Show more content on

However, it is true that he plays a role in the sufferings of Hester and Dimmesdale. But what or who
made Chillingworth transform from a man thoughtful of others, craving little for himself into the
devilish he is known to be (156)? That of course is no other than Dimmesdale. After all, Dimmesdale
was the man that slept with his wife during his absence. And the fact that Dimmesdale made Hester
promise to conceal his identity only further provoked Chillingworth. He lived by the vow:
Dimmesdale shall be mine (68). It was this newfound obsession on revenge that made his dark
complexion grow duskier and his figure more misshapen (101). Furthermore, when Hester asks him
why he does not torture her, he responds, I have left thee to the scarlet letter (156). Chillingworth
acknowledges the pain the scarlet letter inflicts to Hester. Dimmesdale, however, constantly believes
that his own suffering is greater than the pain associated with the letter, making him both stubborn and
heartless. Although Chillingworth aches for the misery of others, Dimmesdale s self obsession,
selfishness, and self pity causes more damage to others than all of the manipulative plans of
Chillingworth combined. Without a doubt, Arthur Dimmesdale is the biggest schmuck in 19th century

Battle Of Wilderness Research Paper
The war had begun in the spring of 1861 and somewhat ominously for the Union. On March 7th ,1862
Glen Joseph Johnston, commander of the Confederates Army of Northern Virginia ordered his troops
to march out of Centreville,Virginia and head about forty miles South to Fredericksburg on the
Rappahannock River. Johnston reasoned that keeping his troops closer to Washington was no longer
an advantage. Johnston s move may have been the result of an economic consideration. Lee was sent
to west Texas, where he served from 1857 through 1861. General Winfield Scott recalled Lee from
Texas when the Lower South seceded from the Union. Lee and grant exchanged awkward personal

Disadvantages Of Recycling Plastic
In the world today, plastic bags are used just about everywhere. This is due to their convenience, low
cost, and durability. Additionally, plastic bags can be found just about everywhere, in ditches, in
cornfields, and in the Rappahannock River. It results in a number of environmental problems for
animals, as it also does for humans. For this reason, communities should start recycling plastic bags as
much as possible and keep them out of harm s way. It is possible to change the plastic bags impact.
New rules and regulations should be set to prevent the environmental problems. Although plastic bags
cause many problems, they are not as worse as the popular alternative, paper bags, or cotton bags.
Cotton made bags would need to be washed in hot ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If the government banned plastic bags for good, then the result would be an increase in paper bags.
This would result in even more environmental disadvantages. Both bags consume about the same
amount of energy, but in different ways. Paper bags cause a greater amount of water pollution and they
also cause trees to be removed. Trees are essential because they need to be present to absorb carbon
dioxide in the air. Paper bags also emit much more air pollution throughout their production. Plastic
bags are made from petroleum which in the end becomes more dangerous for wildlife consumption,
because of the element being worse for animals rather than paper. This is the only main issue for
plastic bags, which can be prevented. According to Lilianfield, paper emits 80 percent more
greenhouse gases, it uses three times the amount of water it takes to make plastic bags, and paper bags
generate 80 percent more solid waste (Source F). Just because disadvantages come with a product or
service, does not mean that the public should quickly change to a different one, without analyzing how
much worse a product is. Paper bags are just as bad for the community as plastic

Essay On Public Speaking Anxiety
Public speaking anxiety There are many ways to help control public speaking anxiety, and it seems
that just about everybody has some methods that help them feel confident while presenting. Some
people pray beforehand or take deep breaths to get their nerves under control. Some people even
visualize the audience in their underwear. Some tactics that work for me are to find some people in the
audience that I know so that it feels like I m only talking to them and not a large group of people or to
just dress in something that makes me feel confident. Of course, everybody knows that no matter what
you do being fully prepared and rehearsed for your speech is going to make you more confident in
delivering the speech and make it sound better to the audience. Throughout the years ,I ve experienced
various times when I ve had to speak in front of others and sometime the results were better than
others. One of the first times, I can remember speaking in front of my class was in sixth grade for a
project about different counties in Arkansas. I was assigned a small county I had never even heard of
before but after a little research I found out some interesting facts about the county that fascinated me.
This caused me to be very involved and proud of my work. When it came time to present my speech I
was very prepared and excited to share what I had found out. Through my experience I have learned

Teens s Early Puberty Stages
Puberty in teenager s early puberty stages can be effected by hormonal changes and imbalances.
Studies in high risk exposal areas of the world potential effects of related amounts of endocrine
disruptors at particular times of their developmental statuses can affect the timing of puberty.
Endocrine disrupters can be prevented during adolescent time frames by the parents purchasing
products of organic processes and keeping away from processed foods, some household chemicals,
pesticides, and plastics (Weiner, Lerner, and Easterbrooks, 2012). Low dose exposures have been
shown affect the hormonal roles in the body and, especially, in the endocrine system for women,

The Soul Of A Deceased Child By Toni Morrison
In 1873, just after the Civil War ended, a house numbered 124 on the edge of Cincinnati, Ohio is
haunted by the soul of a deceased child. Sethe, an ex slave, and her two daughters, Denver and
Beloved, occupy the home. The oldest daughter Beloved, however, happens to be the ghost haunting
her mother and sister. The bond between a mother and her children is evident throughout Toni
Morrison s 1987 novel, Beloved; seen in Sethe s lack of a relationship with her mother, and therefore,
her desire to properly nurture her own children. Unfortunately, slavery does not allow for the existence
of motherhood. The motherly impulse to protect one s children is innate, but in the dehumanizing
realm of slavery, Sethe s maternal instincts are limited and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Sethe s only other memory of her mother is when Sethe recognizes her mother s branding on her
hanging body. This horrifying image sticks with Sethe her entire life, and causes her psychological
agony. Sethe does not want her children to suffer the pain she has. She wants them to have a
relationship with their mother, and especially not see her die. Sethe also remembers that as a baby she
was deprived of milk from her mother to survive. Sethe was nursed by another woman, and recalls
that The little whitebabies got it first and I got what was left nursed her. Or none. There was no
nursing milk to call my own. I know what it is to be without the milk that belongs to you; to have to
fight and holler for it, and to have so little left (Morrison 236). Sethe was malnourished and not fed by
her own mother, which further stresses the separation between them. Sethe s few childhood memories
of her mother make it extremely important to her to nurse her children. When Sethe is cruelly held
down and robbed of this ability, she is more infuriated than the time she is brutally whipped (Morrison
19). When telling a fellow slave about the beating she endured before escaping, she reiterates, they
took my milk! This emphasizes how imperative it was to Sethe to save her milk for her child. Sethe s

1960 s Rocket History
Working Title
As of 2017, the United States of America is still the only country in the world to put men on the moon
due to the many rockets they made during the 1960 s. These rockets were some revolutionary pieces
of technology during the 1960 s because America went from almost nothing on rockets to men on the
moon. But there are some rockets that outshone the others because those rockets did great things or
they came back from near extinction. The U.S. space program made many different types of rockets
during the 1960 s, but the best type of rockets were the Delta rockets, the Atlas rockets, and the Saturn
rockets.
The first rocket that was considered one of the best rockets made during the 1960 s was the Delta
rocket. The Delta rocket is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Power In Antigone And The Bacchae
Greek dramas often contained a singular view on historical ideas or people. This is demonstrated in
the two Greek tragedies, Antigone by Sophocles and the Bacchae by Euripides V. The tragedy
Antigone, critiques a Kreon who rules with fear and pride and suffers a tremendous tragedy, while the
Bacchae praises Pentheus for attempting to regain control over his chaotic city yet still suffer an
undesirable fate. Both tragedies focus on different aspects of political power. The fashion, in which
both Kreon and Pentheus achieve their title as king, demonstrates the extent of power they both
believe they contain. In Antigone, Kreon manages to claim the throne, amongst the chaos from a rebel
attack. Kreon s succession of the throne through ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With Kreon refusing to provide polyneikes with the proper burial, Kreon refused to provide Hades of
his rightful property. Antigone warns Kreon that his decision of refusing to provide the burial will
result in punishment, Since you, a mere man, imposed them have the force to trample on the gods
unwritten laws (Antigone 490 493). Antigone accuses Kreon, a mere man, of dishonoring the laws
written by the gods. As a result of denying Hades of his rights, Kreon suffers a fate worse than death.
As a payment of withholding the body, Kreon must witness the death of his only son Haimon and
accept the death of Eurydike, his wife. Kreon attempting to protect his honor from Antigone, results in
Kreon losing everything he considers important in his heart. However, Kreon s lost results in the
humbling of his personality. At the end of Antigone, he admits, A foolish impulsive man who killed
you, my son, mindlessly killed you as well, my wife (Antigone 1500 1502). The gods punishes those
who prevent them of their proper rites, and those who allow their pride to blind their moral judgment.
Although Pentheus did not have to experience the death of everyone he loves, his family ultimately

Legend Of Lillianna
Daddy it s you! It s really you? I love you with all of my heart! A beautiful girl cried to a tiny, colorful
butterfly. Once upon time in the mystical location of Fiji, there was a young girl named Lilianna.
Lilianna was a talented girl with great creativity. She would imagine all sorts of different lands she had
never been to, and their people she hadn t met. From all the things that she remembered about her
past, she could never remember a summer where she wasn t alone. Summer was her favorite time of
year, and she was never greeted by anyone to spend it with. The true family of this young girl had

Her father played a huge role in her life when she was just a small toddler. Her cared for her
immensely as if she was an expensive, polished diamond that he had just bought to propose to his wife

sent to fight off arriving pirates. She remembered with great recollection all the memorable times she
spent with her father as a toddler, playing in the mud and running around the house. They used to have
so much fun together until he went away. Lilianna had never met her mother, so here father was the
only person she ever knew. Her dad didn t want to leave her in order to go into the military, but that
was his only way of income. Her father left her behind, but he knew that she was going to be able to
survive on her own. All of a sudden, she made direct eye contact with the butterfly. In a split second,
the butterfly rested upon the young girl s shoulder. It was her father. Daddy it s you! It s really you? I

Music A La Carte By The OSU Music Concert
About two weeks ago, there was a concert called Music a la Carte by a the OSU music faculty
showcase. The crowd was mixed of people; young and older audiences. There were many performers
that performed. The tunes were pleasing and enjoyable to the audience. There were ten songs played
in the afternoon.
Francesco Paolo Tosti, an Italian composer and a music teacher. By the 1885 he was one of the most
popular composer of songs in England. He created a music called Ideale. It was performed by Mitchell
Hutchings and Lauren Servias during the concert. Lauren Servias played the piano. It sounded
soothing and slow. It was very easy to listen to. In addition, Mitchell Hutchings was the person who
sang in an opera like voice. It was deep and slow. The duet was very talented.
Flow, My Tears by John Dowland, an English Renaissance composer, lutenist, and singer. John
Dowland is best known today for his melancholy songs. The performers who played this piece is
Nicholas Larson and Cameron O Connor. Nicholas Larson was the person singing. He was similar to
the first performer Mitchell Hutchings. The only difference was Larson was holding his pitch for some
part of the song he sang. Cameron O Connor played the guitar. It was slow and it sounded more in the
Latin style. The audience seems to enjoy the music. Another song the performers played is, Fairest Isle

Legalizing Abortion Pros
Providing abortions by trained professionals reduces the number of women who die due to unsafe
abortions. Out of all medical procedures in the US, abortions are the safest when done by a trained
professional in within the first trimester of pregnancy. They re only dangerous when performed by an
untrained professional. Unsafe abortions leads to the deaths of more than 47,000 women. Legalizing
abortions reduces the number of abortion related deaths: The legalization of abortion on request in
South Africa in 1998 saw abortion related deaths drop by 91% (Singer). If access to clinics that
provide abortions is restricted, more women will seek help from providers that aren t reliable which
can lead to more deaths. We can prevent more accidents from occurring if more clinics are open for
people. Not only do more safe clinics allow people have safer abortions, but also other aspects of
healthcare. Funding clinics that provide abortions also helps fund other healthcare services. Planned

The Biopsychosocial Model Essay
INTRODUCTION Don t treat the disease, treat the patient [9]. The concept of health has seemed to
become complex in definition over the centuries as science improves. Health is a complete state of
physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity. World
Health Definition of Health (1948) [9] In order to understand health, different models or frameworks
for thinking have been developed which have been useful. The Biomedical model which evolved since
the 19th century from Galen s (Greek physician 200AD) concept of pathogen, focused on removing
the disease/disability and not on prevention or general well being [9]. The Biopsychosocial model
however, doesn t merely focus on the physical state of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is reductionist because it reduces illness to low level processes such as chemical imbalances,
pathogens, genetic predispositions and disorders. According to this model, individuals are not
responsible for illnesses caused by factors beyond their control and treatment should include
vaccination, surgery and the like which all aim to remove the cause of the illness. In this model of
practice, an individual can either be healthy or ill because there is no continuum. That a psychological
disorder can lead to an illness but there is no in between. The biomedical view thus identifies
treatment of various parts with the ultimate goal of a cure. If success in this model is defined as a cure,
death is defined as ultimate failure, to be avoided at all cost. Patients whose diseases cannot be cured
are deemed as incurable . [7] The Biopsychosocial (BPS) model greatly differs because while the
biomedical answers the main question why do people get sick? the BPS also answers the question why
else do people get sick? [9] According to the BPS model, the human being is complex and must be
understood as a whole. That there is a relationship between body, mind and environment and that one
aspect affects the others. Health and illness are caused by multiple factors and have multiple effects,
from the biological or cellular level

Barbie Doll Representation
Representation is something that had been emphasized in the past few years. Especially, for people
color. It matters because it affects the way people, particulary children, view themselves as they go
throughout life. For this activity, I headed down to Wal Mart to take note of group based differences in
what is being sold in the store.
It was surprising to see the diversity of Barbie dolls that were on the shelves. There were several
Black dolls, a few Latina dolls, and a couple of Asian dolls. There was even a Black Barbie where the
packaging had a little sign on it that mentioned activated curls to mimic the hair textures of black
women. Of course, there was plenty of white Barbie dolls, considering that the brand itself when it
started only had white dolls. Unfortunately, Wal Mart does not sell G.I. Joe action figures. However,
the action figures that were sold there were mostly white men or non terrestrial characters that are
played by white actors. There was only one black action figure, a character from Star Wars. In total,
there were eighteen Barbie and action figures of color as well as forty three white Barbie dolls and
action figures. In addition, there were more signs that featured people of color than ... Show more

sport or not, that featured Native Americans as a mascot or whatnot. It is possible that Wal Mart s
location made it difficult to find any because there was an abundance of Florida gator memorabilia.
Disappointingly, the children s books were scant of people of color. There were only three books that
contained a black character, often the best friend of the main white

I would say the most important part of the work is when Jason abandons Medea. I say this because
this is the start of when Medea started to feel rage and began to plot her revenge.

that Atticus defending Tom is a sin or shameful. As a young child, he doesn t know any better but to

My unfamiliar social setting is Carlsbad, California. While I had been to the beach before, I had never
been to Carlsbad or to the type of onshore resort that I stayed at. The culture shock of being in the area

Why Is Oprah Winfrey A Good Role Model
What makes a person a great role model? Does it come with age? Maybe, it comes with character.
Role models are supposed to set an example for others to follow. I consider Oprah Winfrey a role
model because she is very hardworking, humble, and giving.
One reason why I consider Oprah a role model is because of how hardworking she is. For example,
how she rose from poverty to great prosperity. While she used to be poor, she is now a billionaire.
Also, how she continues to persevere through every task. No matter how difficult it is, she always
finds a way to achieve her goal. Especially how she jumps over any hurdles that are in her way,
overlooking problems that most people use as a crutch. In other words, Oprah is a leader and role

With the use of camera movements and blocking, Kurosawa is able to communicate to the audience
the value of a character. For example, look at the opening shot of the film. The camera follows the two
squabbling peasants from behind. The movement and blocking of both of the actors and the camera
fluctuates a bit and you can tell that something important is about to be uncovered that will be an
important distinguishing factor for the rest of the film. This opening shot also provides insight to the
audience about the rest of the film. Another technique that is used that brought this film to its full
potential was the editing. Kurosawa used his editing skills to tell the story. Every cut that was made
took effect. When looking at the battle scene, the majority of the shots were action packed and were
quick cuts for the progression of the battle. These edits were made to intrigue the audience and to help
them make insight of not only the plot, but also what was going on. Using such edits created lively
movements that help to create visual interest for the audience and kept them on the edge of their

Hydraulic Fracking In Oklahoma
Oklahoma, the center of what your local meteorologist might call Tornado Alley experiences on
average forty seven twisters per year; however, surprising or not, tornados are no longer the leading
climate related disturbance throughout the state. In fact, since 2008 it has become eighty percent more
likely to experience an earthquake rather than a tornado in the sooner state. Hydraulic oil fracturing is
the cause of all these relatively new reoccurring earthquakes. Hydraulic fracturing or fracking is
pumping millions of gallons of wastewater deep into the earth s crust in order to release and extract oil

  • 2. Humans Need to Belong Belonging is at the core of the human condition. A significant individual can nurture or prevent a sense of belonging in individuals, groups or communities and is a prevalent concept in the autobiographies Romulus, My Father by Raimond Gaita and I know why the caged bird sings by Maya Angelou, a story about growing up African American in 1930s. These texts explore how a mentoring figure, an individual s insecurities and how confidence and self esteem in a community can instil or prohibit a sense of belonging. An individual s insecurities can prevent a sense of belonging in a community is an idea demonstrated in Romulus, My Father through Christine. Social pressures of gender roles and the barrenness feed an insecurity that is artificially relieved by longing for company and seducing men to gain a sense of power and connection. However it further alienates herself My mother had other lovers and he was tormented by jealousy... my mother and he quarrelled over her infidelities. The use of vivid language tormented and quarrelled, highlight how her actions, result of her insecurities, strain the relationship between her and Mitru. This also serves to characterise Christine in the early chapters, as the villain and due to the autobiographical nature of this text, reflects Raimond s disconnect to his mother. Therefore Christine and her insecurities prevent a sense of belonging between her, Mitru and Raimond. Similarly in I know why the caged bird sings Maya s ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Rhetorical Analysis Of Gatorade s The Secret To Victory Gatorade s most recent commercial, The Secret to Victory, focuses on defeat to help make their advertisement effective. The commercial starts out with Michael Jordan, a star basketball player, who asks, You want to know the secret to victory? This bold question grabs the attention of the audience. The commercial continues with many star athletes, present and past, that state a time where they failed in their respective careers. Later on, NFL quarterback Matt Ryan, answers Jordan s proposed question with defeat, after a scene of him losing in the Super Bowl. In this essay, I will argue that Gatorade s The Secret to Victory commercial is very effective by using rhetorical components and focusing on defeat. The target audience for Gatorade is for athletes, but this commercial does a great job of reaching out to a wide range of athletes. The advertisement targets athletes of the older generation, along with athletes that are young. Gatorade uses two retired players, Peyton Manning and Michael Jordan, along with two players nearing the end of their careers, Eli Manning and Serena Williams, and three players that are currently in their prime, Kyle Schwarber, Matt Ryan, and Karl Anthony Towns. The different ages in the commercial are extremely effective because athletes that would be interested in Gatorade s products vary in age, and Gatorade had to appeal to all generations of athletes. Also, the inclusion of Serena Williams can appeal to the female athletes that view the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Genetic Disease And Its Effects On The Body Introduction Genetic diseases are being discovered more often as we learn the affects that genes have on the body. McArdle s disease is a metabolic disease that affects skeletal muscle because of a gene mutation. The genetic mutation prevents the creation of the enzyme myophosphorylase. This enzyme is responsible for the breakdown of glycogen in muscles (Haldeman Englert, 2014). McArdle s disease is also known as Type V Glycogen Storage Disorder. It affects approximately one out of every 100,000 people ( McArdlesDisease.org, n.d.). Glycogen is broken down into glucose, which is used to produce adenosine triphosphate for muscle energy. Patients can live relatively normal lives with this disease once proper care and education has been provided (Kitaoka, 2014). Genetic Nature McArdle s disease is seen as muscle dysfunction caused by a mutation in the gene that codes for the enzyme myophosphorylase. The myophosphorylase gene, PYGM, is located at chromosome 11q13 (Kitaoka, 2014). There have been over 100 mutations of the gene detected. In North American Caucasians, the mutation commonly found is the p.R50X (Kitaoka, 2014). In Japanese patients, it is found to be the p.F709del/F710de mutation (Kitaoka, 2014). Researchers have seen a correlation between ethnicity and the type of mutation of that they carry. All the mutations cause a lack of the myophosphorylase enzyme in the muscle tissue. It is found to be an autosomal recessive inheritance trait. Those who are heterozygotes ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Emma Marris learns to appreciate novel ecosystems . J oe Mascaro, a PhD student in a T shirt and floral print shorts, is soaking in the diversity of the Hawaiian jungle. Above, a green canopy blocks out most of the sky. Aerial roots wend their way down past tropical trunks, tree ferns and moss covered prop roots to an understorey of ferns and seedlings. In 1979, Lugo was managing researchers who were measuring the ground covered by trees within pine plantations that were not being actively managed. His technicians came back to headquarters sweaty and discouraged. They said that they couldn t measure the trees without clearing all the new undergrowth, says Lugo. They said it was impenetrable. I thought they were wimps. The idea that ecosystems dominated by pine, an invasive species, were so thick that his workers couldn t even walk through them went against a central assumption of ecology: that native forests will be the lushest. Millennia of co evolution should have created an ecosystem in which almost every niche is filled, converting the available energy into trees and other species in the most efficient way. Conservationists also generally assume that native ecosystems ILLUSTRATIONS BY JANUSZ KAPUSTA job of providing ecosystem services , those things that nature does that benefit humanity, such as filtering water in wetlands, controlling erosion on hillsides, sequestering carbon from the atmosphere and building soil. • 6. Proposal For Higher Education Current Research Current research over student debt and its burden has allowed an insight and analyzation over the government s role in higher education at the federal, state, and local level. Through data of institution cost efficiency and inefficiency, tax exporting, and the backgrounds of student borrowers, policymakers and can create a visual representation of the importance of state allocations towards higher education. Government matters. A study done by Sav (2016), explores the decreases in state and federal Pell Grant funding for public colleges in the United States whose funding decreased from 32% to 23% from 2004 2013. Sav s study concluded that state funding appropriations contributed significantly to the higher education ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Second, it is crucial that the states, rather than the federal government solely, play a more concrete role in reducing the burden for millions of student borrowers. Third, policymakers should take into consideration the dynamics and backgrounds of the student body in higher education institutions when considering appropriations. Collective Themes Several themes and elements are recurrent in this research of college affordability. Federalism concerns add fuel to the debate of the role of government in higher education policymaking. Ethical, equity, economic, and political issues arise that divide citizens between considering higher education a public or a private good, whether it has economic benefits, and whether it is worth taxpayer dollars. The themes are consistent through the perspectives of the history, media, government enactments, public opinion, political parties, interest groups and research. Federalism The relationship between the national government and state governments has changed and expanded immensely (Kraft Furlong, 2015). How does the issue of rising tuition, high student loan interests, and student debt detail federalism? The authority of each level of government is questioned in education policy. How much power should the national government have over higher education? Constitutionally, the national government only has explicitly enumerated ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Although it might not be necessary to carry all books along to school, there will surely be times when you must tote several of them at once. Moreover, while on campus, you will probably do a lot of walking and it will not be easy toting heavy books. Research shows, carrying heavy books in small back packs on a constant basis can lead to long term back ache. I doubt if anyone will want to begin a nursing career with prolong back pain issues. This unnecessary pain can simply be avoided by using the proper tote bag. Although there are a lot of choices in tote bags for nursing student, not all bags are equal. This city has been through many hard times such as The Great Depression and World War II, and it has been through good ones too. But none as memorable as The Empire State Building. The Empire State Building is an important building with interesting facts that are wonderful to learn. The Empire State Building was built in a race. In the late 1920 s, builders wanted to construct the tallest building. The main competition was between the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building. After many changes the Empire State Building finally won the title of the tallest building in the world. This record would stand for 40 years. Its structure is modeled after two buildings which are the Reynold s Building in North Carolina and Carew Tower in Cincinnati. The Empire State Building s name came from a nickname for New York, the Empire State. The tower at the top, initially it was supposed to be designed as a mooring mast for airships. Unfortunately, high winds made this extremely difficult. This plan is now deserted due to the closest thing to a landing was in September 1931, when an airship tethered itself to the spire for a little while. It took approximately 20 months, a record time, with using 3,400 men per day to fully construct the building. • 9. Emotional Intelligence In Health Care Essay Before discussing how a healthcare worker uses emotional intelligence when establishing communication with a client in a health care environment, it is imperative to first have a clear understanding of what emotional intelligence is. Only then can we assess how it is used by a healthcare worker when communicating with client and its relevance in such a setting. Defining what communication means in this context is also important to understanding how a healthcare worker uses emotional intelligence to establish effective discourse with a client. Communication is much more than just words and encompasses intrapersonal, interpersonal and observational skills which are critical when communicating with a client. With this in mind, it could be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As McEwen and Kraszewski (2010, p.1) point out, understanding and engaging various modes of communication affords the healthcare worker an opportunity to critically analyse the interactions between themselves and the patient. Information garnered through this analysis can prove vital when formulating an individual care plan for the patient. The links between emotional intelligence and communicating effectively can now be seen as taking a holistic approach to patient care. Establishing trust and respect is the foundation of good communication, and the use of emotional intelligence allows the healthcare worker to address the needs of a patient individually and this cultivates trust and respect within the relationship. However, as Birks and Watt (2007, p.368) point out, the level of emotional intelligence each healthcare worker possesses will vary and empirical studies measuring emotional intelligence are flawed. This brings into question any ideas of uniformity in the emotional intelligence approach to patient care. As such, developing consistent levels of effective communication within a healthcare environment through the use of emotional intelligence seems unlikely. This view is countered by Ioannidou and Konstantikaki (2008, p. 121), who suggest that emotional intelligence is something that can be taught. With the acceptance of this idea and with the use of the previously defined model of emotional intelligence, we can see how ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. Review Of Dennett s Quining Qualia Paper 1 Question 3: Dennett s Quining Qualia Daniel Dennett looks to quine qualia, or completely disprove their existence, in Quining Qualia. He is successful in creating a theoretical framework by which many intuitive arguments for qualia can be struck down. Because of his success, an argument from introspection is difficult to make; Dennett seems to successfully refute many of the arguments given by intuition or folk psychology. I will adopt Eugene Park s criticism in critiquing Dennett, showing that an argument from introspection can provide some insight into how qualia might exist. Park argues that relying on memory comparison is incomplete, and unfairly eliminates direct apprehensibility. Introduction In Quining Qualia, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This makes qualia inherently private. The fourth and last quality is direct apprehensibility to consciousness. This describes the fact that we know everything about our own qualia, and we can easily access all of its properties. Dennett explains that because qualia are properties of my experiences, they therefore must be accessible to one s conscious states (229). The coffee test case: Intuition pump 7 Chase and Sanborn Dennett uses the seventh intuition pump to explore the relationship between qualia and reactive attitudes to those qualia. The situation involves two coffee tasters who work for Maxwell House, ensuring that each batch is of consistent quality. After six years of tastings, both Chase and Sanborn declare that they used to like the taste of the coffee, but that this is no longer the case. Chase says that he thinks that the coffee tastes the same as it did six years ago, but that he has become a more sophisticated coffee drinker and his more unfavorable reaction (or reactive attitude) towards the coffee has decreased his enjoyment of it. Sanborn, however, does not like the coffee because he says his taste buds have changed, and now the coffee tastes worse than before. Sanborn claims that his taste qualia have changed, not his reactive attitude towards the coffee. It is difficult, however, to discern whether Chase and Sanborn are actually correct in ... • 11. Who Is The Jerk In The Scarlet Letter Hawthorne s Arthur Dimmesdale and Roger Chillingworth have never been characters free of controversial discourse in the 19th century Romantic novel, The Scarlet Letter. The topic on which of the two characters is the bigger jerk often leaves readers scratching their heads. After all, both characters extensively worry about themselves while pursuing self satisfaction, at the expense of Hester Prynne, in particular. However, there are a handful of individuals that believe that Chillingworth s intellectual superiority and manipulative plans conveniently label him as a jerk. But, the only label of jerk that can be applied to him is that of an emotionally insecure jerk. Dimmesdale, on the other hand, a man that appears to be holy, embodies selfishness. ... But what or who made Chillingworth transform from a man thoughtful of others, craving little for himself into the devilish he is known to be (156)? That of course is no other than Dimmesdale. After all, Dimmesdale was the man that slept with his wife during his absence. And the fact that Dimmesdale made Hester promise to conceal his identity only further provoked Chillingworth. He lived by the vow: Dimmesdale shall be mine (68). It was this newfound obsession on revenge that made his dark complexion grow duskier and his figure more misshapen (101). Furthermore, when Hester asks him why he does not torture her, he responds, I have left thee to the scarlet letter (156). Chillingworth acknowledges the pain the scarlet letter inflicts to Hester. Dimmesdale, however, constantly believes that his own suffering is greater than the pain associated with the letter, making him both stubborn and heartless. Although Chillingworth aches for the misery of others, Dimmesdale s self obsession, selfishness, and self pity causes more damage to others than all of the manipulative plans of Chillingworth combined. On March 7th ,1862 Glen Joseph Johnston, commander of the Confederates Army of Northern Virginia ordered his troops to march out of Centreville,Virginia and head about forty miles South to Fredericksburg on the Rappahannock River. Johnston reasoned that keeping his troops closer to Washington was no longer an advantage. Johnston s move may have been the result of an economic consideration. Lee was sent to west Texas, where he served from 1857 through 1861. General Winfield Scott recalled Lee from Texas when the Lower South seceded from the Union. Additionally, plastic bags can be found just about everywhere, in ditches, in cornfields, and in the Rappahannock River. It results in a number of environmental problems for animals, as it also does for humans. For this reason, communities should start recycling plastic bags as much as possible and keep them out of harm s way. It is possible to change the plastic bags impact. This would result in even more environmental disadvantages. Both bags consume about the same amount of energy, but in different ways. Paper bags cause a greater amount of water pollution and they also cause trees to be removed. Trees are essential because they need to be present to absorb carbon dioxide in the air. Paper bags also emit much more air pollution throughout their production. Plastic bags are made from petroleum which in the end becomes more dangerous for wildlife consumption, because of the element being worse for animals rather than paper. This is the only main issue for plastic bags, which can be prevented. According to Lilianfield, paper emits 80 percent more greenhouse gases, it uses three times the amount of water it takes to make plastic bags, and paper bags generate 80 percent more solid waste (Source F). • 15. Essay On Public Speaking Anxiety Public speaking anxiety There are many ways to help control public speaking anxiety, and it seems that just about everybody has some methods that help them feel confident while presenting. Some people pray beforehand or take deep breaths to get their nerves under control. Some people even visualize the audience in their underwear. Some tactics that work for me are to find some people in the audience that I know so that it feels like I m only talking to them and not a large group of people or to just dress in something that makes me feel confident. Of course, everybody knows that no matter what you do being fully prepared and rehearsed for your speech is going to make you more confident in delivering the speech and make it sound better to the audience. Throughout the years ,I ve experienced various times when I ve had to speak in front of others and sometime the results were better than others. One of the first times, I can remember speaking in front of my class was in sixth grade for a project about different counties in Arkansas. It appears the fashion design switched because currently lady s garments resemble the men of the medieval era. Yet during that period, lady s gothic robes swept the floor surrounded with a matching scarf and cape. Just like the clothing, the characteristics of military during the Battle of Hastings, differed from current warfare. Soldiers dressed in heavy attire such as chains, helmets, and plated armor. Studies in high risk exposal areas of the world potential effects of related amounts of endocrine disruptors at particular times of their developmental statuses can affect the timing of puberty. Endocrine disrupters can be prevented during adolescent time frames by the parents purchasing products of organic processes and keeping away from processed foods, some household chemicals, pesticides, and plastics (Weiner, Lerner, and Easterbrooks, 2012). Low dose exposures have been shown affect the hormonal roles in the body and, especially, in the endocrine system for women, which can expose their uterus to estrogens that can cause breast cancer years later (Vandenberg, 2014). Sethe, an ex slave, and her two daughters, Denver and Beloved, occupy the home. The oldest daughter Beloved, however, happens to be the ghost haunting her mother and sister. The bond between a mother and her children is evident throughout Toni Morrison s 1987 novel, Beloved; seen in Sethe s lack of a relationship with her mother, and therefore, her desire to properly nurture her own children. This horrifying image sticks with Sethe her entire life, and causes her psychological agony. Sethe does not want her children to suffer the pain she has. Sethe was nursed by another woman, and recalls that The little whitebabies got it first and I got what was left nursed her. Or none. There was no nursing milk to call my own. I know what it is to be without the milk that belongs to you; to have to fight and holler for it, and to have so little left (Morrison 236). Sethe s few childhood memories of her mother make it extremely important to her to nurse her children. When Sethe is cruelly held down and robbed of this ability, she is more infuriated than the time she is brutally whipped (Morrison 19). When telling a fellow slave about the beating she endured before escaping, she reiterates, they took my milk! This emphasizes how imperative it was to Sethe to save her milk for her child. The concept of health has seemed to become complex in definition over the centuries as science improves. Health is a complete state of physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity. World Health Definition of Health (1948) [9] In order to understand health, different models or frameworks for thinking have been developed which have been useful. The Biomedical model which evolved since the 19th century from Galen s (Greek physician 200AD) concept of pathogen, focused on removing the disease/disability and not on prevention or general well being [9]. According to this model, individuals are not responsible for illnesses caused by factors beyond their control and treatment should include vaccination, surgery and the like which all aim to remove the cause of the illness. In this model of practice, an individual can either be healthy or ill because there is no continuum. That a psychological disorder can lead to an illness but there is no in between. The biomedical view thus identifies treatment of various parts with the ultimate goal of a cure. If success in this model is defined as a cure, death is defined as ultimate failure, to be avoided at all cost. Patients whose diseases cannot be cured are deemed as incurable . [7] The Biopsychosocial (BPS) model greatly differs because while the biomedical answers the main question why do people get sick? the BPS also answers the question why else do people get sick? It shows how he is opening up to the feminine side, and is more malleable than before Tatsue s accident. As Tatsue finally realizes that she is already content with her life, Otosan is now mature in his emotions to his family, and he realizes that oppression is not the ... • 36. Hydraulic Fracking In Oklahoma Oklahoma, the center of what your local meteorologist might call Tornado Alley experiences on average forty seven twisters per year; however, surprising or not, tornados are no longer the leading climate related disturbance throughout the state. In fact, since 2008 it has become eighty percent more likely to experience an earthquake rather than a tornado in the sooner state. Hydraulic oil fracturing is the cause of all these relatively new reoccurring earthquakes. Hydraulic fracturing or fracking is pumping millions of gallons of wastewater deep into the earth s crust in order to release and extract oil or gas. Oil corporations throughout Oklahoma and Texas use this method of extricating oil. Fifty years ago people believed that by the year ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... 2). Standard homeowner policies in Oklahoma don t usually cover the damages done by earthquakes; however, since 2011 an agent for Farmer s Insurance stated that their earthquake insurance has risen by 39% now insuring 40% of all their homes (Earthquake, par. 3) That year the largest Oklahoma earthquake ever recorded with a magnitude of 5.6 crumpled 14 homes and wounded two victims. Even though the oil industry continues to claim these earthquakes are not an effect of fracking, seismologist Ameberlee Darold with the Oklahoma Geological Survey is quoted, it s no longer a matter of debate that hydraulic fracturing of oil and gas wells, or fracking, causes earthquakes. It s known that fracking can cause earthquakes and has caused earthquakes (Earthquakes, par. 5). Homeowners in Oklahoma now have more costs to wrestle with due to the earthquakes caused by the ... • 37. Skateboarding Memoir Another memoir? It feels like the teachers in every grade meet and come up with the same assignments. It s pointless. At least it s like a free period. It s why I sat in the back. I can be fully secluded and do what I want, even though it s a large open library. Jam out, watch some videos, whatever. I won t do well on this paper or in this class, but forget it. School just doesn t seem important compared to anything else in my life. In every class I just sit and think of all the better things I could be doing. Why do I have to be stuck here? I should just walk out. My life has just been going downhill for the past few years. Who would want to write about that? Nonetheless have somebody read it. A few minutes ago, my teacher asked why I didn t ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I m in the library so I m sure they won t care too much that I m reading instead of doing actual work. Aside from music, skateboarding is the other half of my life. I ve probable written more stories about it than music. I don t have an end goal in it, I just love it. It s fun weather I m progressing or not ; chilling or trying some banger. But just as music goes, it takes up so much time. It s always one of the two. Thinking of guitar riffs in math, thinking of some handrail to grind in Physics. The skatepark is right near the school too. Every period I walk past a door and consider going for it. I m actually getting kind of good too. It s torture, I just picture the progression I could be making. Landing new tricks, stacking some decent clips, it s awesome. Not to mention all the hemies. They hype it up and then everything just turns into a party. I ve always wanted to go on a music/skate tour. One of my bands would hop in a van and go touring playing shows. Along the way we d skate, hit spots and try and make a short video edit. That would be the dream life... Sadly I m stuck in school. Not to mention all the other things eating up my time. Although there s things I enjoy, there s things I m not fond of like work. My job isn t the worst. The pay is fair, the people are kind. Although if I didn t need money in life I wouldn t be wasting my time. Who would? Then there s any work my family gives me. They don t usually give me work, but that s why I do it. Aside from that there s all the school work outside of school. It seems some teachers are beginning to understand that we have lives to live and that no one does homework. It s all just pointless busy work ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
