Validation Supervisor - supervising a team of twelve team members. Each team member’s
responsibility was to audit and verify freight bills in a timely manner for funding. I was promoted
from validation team lead in April 2015.
Audit/Validation Specialist Team Lead - managing the process of auditing and verifying freight bills
and paperwork, processing paperwork for funding in a timely manner by the team members. The
auditing function consisted of looking for possible fraudulent documents and paperwork. The verify
process was to call the broker on any suspicious paperwork or discrepancies. The calls were
performed to ensure payment would be made without shortages.
I trained all new employees. I have trained in a one on one setting and also in class room setting. The
training could be paper handouts, power point presentations, etc. I held daily morning meeting to
instruct the team of any information or changes of their job functions. Also, these meeting were to
discuss any questions or feedback the team may have. I was promoted from validation specialist to
this position in December 2013.
