The Scalehouse Operator is responsible for weighing and certifying aggregate products and trucks, receiving cash payments, preparing reports on production and sales, checking truck weights, quoting prices, and assisting the Quarry Superintendent. Qualifications include a high school diploma, good computer skills, the ability to perform math and multiple tasks simultaneously, and working independently with attention to detail.

This position is responsible for weighing and certifying aggregate products and
trucks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 Weigh and certify aggregate products and trucks.
 Verify time card entries and records on time sheets.
 Receive cash payments for materials and deliveries and prepares reports of cash sales
 Prepares reports of daily production and inventory.
 Check gross truck weights per PennDOT.
 Perform axle weights as needed.
 Prepare error logs and fax to customer service daily.
 Makes and answers phone calls.
 Quotes prices for company products.
 Corresponds with truck drivers.
 Prepares delivery tickets.
 Confers with dispatch and plant personnel to establish delivery and pickup schedules.
 Cleans scales, scale house and surrounding areas.
 Assists Quarry Superintendent as required and/or needed.
 Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
 High school Diploma or equivalent
