- With the structure: It + verb to be + adjective + to-infinitive

 I’m very pleased to meet you

-The negative form of the infinitive is not to+verb:
 Anna decided not to take the exam
(not *Anna decided don’t take the exam)
 It’s important not to get nervous before an exam

4. VERB PATTERNS
 GERUND (-ING):
-After certain verbs: enjoy, finish, mind, etc.
 We all enjoyed watching that play.

- In subject position:
 Smoking is bad for your health

- After prepositions:
 Thank you for waiting.

duration:
