Leadership expert and author, Rakesh Malhotra, has written Adventures of the Tornado Kid as a way to help teach children the ‘value of values’.
He believes we need to counteract the loss of traditional role models and the mass of conflicting messages that children are exposed to in today’s global media landscape. With no clear guidance, students leave school with professional qualifications but little in the way of an underlying value system.
The lack of societal values, such as responsibility, compassion and integrity, has been of increasing concern in recent years with the corruption and fraud exposed at the heart of the financial system. It is something that Malhotra has sought to address with his work.
He has used his experience as a successful CEO and extensive study of human behavior to devise a system which identifies the five core values that act as the foundation for a successful life. They have been chosen so as not to conflict with any existing religion, faith or culture.
Phenomenology of values is a topic from values education for education students, characteristics of moral values, characteristics of values by scheler, other properties of values by t. andres, knowledge of values, kinds of values, 3 fundamental classification of values according to ancient philosophers, classification of values according to other authorities, classification of values according to nature of occurence, other classification of values, primary values, secondary values, moral or ethical values, religious values, cultural values, social values, human values, educational value, behavioral value, psychological value, political value, historical value, personal value, sociological value, cultural value, sentimental value, sensational value

New Directions in Targeted Therapeutic Approaches for Older Adults With Mantl...i3 Health
i3 Health is pleased to make the speaker slides from this activity available for use as a non-accredited self-study or teaching resource.
This slide deck presented by Dr. Kami Maddocks, Professor-Clinical in the Division of Hematology and
Associate Division Director for Ambulatory Operations
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, will provide insight into new directions in targeted therapeutic approaches for older adults with mantle cell lymphoma.
STATEMENT OF NEED
Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare, aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) accounting for 5% to 7% of all lymphomas. Its prognosis ranges from indolent disease that does not require treatment for years to very aggressive disease, which is associated with poor survival (Silkenstedt et al, 2021). Typically, MCL is diagnosed at advanced stage and in older patients who cannot tolerate intensive therapy (NCCN, 2022). Although recent advances have slightly increased remission rates, recurrence and relapse remain very common, leading to a median overall survival between 3 and 6 years (LLS, 2021). Though there are several effective options, progress is still needed towards establishing an accepted frontline approach for MCL (Castellino et al, 2022). Treatment selection and management of MCL are complicated by the heterogeneity of prognosis, advanced age and comorbidities of patients, and lack of an established standard approach for treatment, making it vital that clinicians be familiar with the latest research and advances in this area. In this activity chaired by Michael Wang, MD, Professor in the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma at MD Anderson Cancer Center, expert faculty will discuss prognostic factors informing treatment, the promising results of recent trials in new therapeutic approaches, and the implications of treatment resistance in therapeutic selection for MCL.
Target Audience
Hematology/oncology fellows, attending faculty, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).
Learning Objectives
1.) Identify clinical and biological prognostic factors that can guide treatment decision making for older adults with MCL
2.) Evaluate emerging data on targeted therapeutic approaches for treatment-naive and relapsed/refractory MCL and their applicability to older adults
3.) Assess mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapies for MCL and their implications for treatment selection

rights. In principle, every
human being has a personal
status; it is said that it should
be treated as a person and
not as an object or
environment for certain
purposes.

We live in an age which is much talk of
harmony and inner peace. Few however
mentioned that one of the best ways to
achieve these ideals is through the spirit of
service to others. Peace is the fruit of
listening to understand the alien needs
before their own.
19. WHO CREATES VALUES?
There are several factors that can contribute
to creating values; there are four groups that
have great influence in the values:
20. THE FAMILY,
Is the first school of values. Everyone in the
family is first habits. Hence the strength and
importance of the values family.
21. THE SCHOOL,
Where the educator must maintain a
transmitting attitude of values, where the
most important thing will be the coherent
example between what he says and what it
does.
22. THE MEDIA
those who today are
invading our lives.
Transmitting values and
equivalents affecting
people of all ages.
23. · THE PEER GROUP
which vary according to
age, needs and concerns
of everyone. Seeks to
relate to those who feel
identified and the group in
which we live and we
exchanged values.
24. CONCLUTION
The only efficient and most powerful way to
actually support a true value is by:
Living it as a living example without imposing
it on anyone else.
Admitting such inner values to the outside
world, to your family members, friends,
colleagues at work or customers
