3. 40 persons consume 200 kg of rice in 30 days. In how many days will 30 persons consume 500 kg rice ? What is asked = number of days so start with number of days multiply to it the ratio of persons, rice etc. 30 * 40/30 * 500/200 = 100 days answer

4. 500 persons consume 100 kg of rice in 20 days. In how many days will 20 persons consume 1000 kg rice ? What is asked = number of days so start with number of days multiply to it the ratio of persons, rice etc. 20 * 500/20 * 1000/100 = 5000 days answer

5. There are X persons working for X hours a day producing X units of output. How much output will be there if there are Y number of persons, working Y hours a day? What is asked = units of output so start with units of output multiply to it factors like hours etc. X * Y/X * Y/x = y^2/ x answer

6. 15 labourers can fill 65 boxes in 30 days. How many labourers are required to fill 130 boxes in 10 days ? What is asked = number of labourers so start with number of labourers multiply to it the ratio of boxes etc. . 15 * 130/65 * 30/10 = 90 labourers answer

7. 15 men take 30 days of 8 hours each to complete 20 units of work. How many days will it take to complete 40 units of work, where people are working 6 hours a day and the new workers take double the time of earlier workers What is asked = number of days so start with number of days multiply to it the ratio of persons, rice etc. 30 * 2/1 * 8/6* 40/20 =160 days answer

8. 4 examinees can examine a number of answer books in 8 days working 5 hours a day. How many hours a day would 16 examiners require for examining double the copies in 4 days? What is asked = number of hours so start with number of hours multiply to it the ratio of persons, rice etc. 8 * 4/16 * 8/4 *2/1 = 8 hours answer
