Geography is the study of the Earth's physical features, climate, and distribution of life. There are three main parts: physical geography examines natural features like landforms and climate; human geography studies where and how people live regarding population, settlements, economies, and quality of life; environmental geography looks at the interaction of humans and the physical environment including natural resources and their management. Studying geography helps understand the world and concerns over environmental quality and sustainability.
