• This would be a continuation from partaking in Media in
college, this will expand my media skills, this course isn’t
really what I want to do in university this would be my last
option.

11. Academic History
From 2015 - 2020 I attended Harrogate High School, from 2017 I studied GCSE
Maths, GCSE English, GCSE Science and addition of GCSE History, BTEC
Hospitality and BTEC Business and I achieved grades ranging from grade 4 – 6
and received 2 Level 2 passes in the BTEC courses. With the courses I had
practice in high school I have developed a variety of skills as I had my cooking
skills have improved and learned the health and safeties when working in a
kitchen although it not related to what I am currently doing at college I think
it is beneficial to have a variety of skills as I may change my career choice to
hospitality or to other subjects I had practiced in high school.
12. Current Study
In 2020 I started attending York College studying Level 3 Creative Media.
Taking this course has been amazing but has been also overwhelming.
Starting this course with no experience was pressurising as i had no skills
when using applications on Adobe for my first project and it was difficult at
first to navigate but that was also a learning process for as I learned in my first
project to Adobe Premiere Pro and with the use of tutorials on YouTube I was
able to present interesting effects into my music video.
13. The Future
The current time I don’t have a full set out idea of what I am planning to do
after college, I just have potential ideas but the only idea I think I will most
likely do an apprenticeship relating into photography or and film. As the
current being I see or planning to go to university. I think I will go at some
point in my life I will but for now university is not appealing to me. And when I
do go to university I will practice something Media related most likely if my
plan don’t change.
14. Outside College
In my spare time I have mini photoshoot as I have camera and doing this has
helped me develop my photography skills and when doing these photoshoots
I always try experiments with different angles and with different styles in
photos, this shows my advance photograph skills. Also in my spare time I
watch movies but when watching the movies I analyse the different type of
shots used so I have an overall idea of what angles and shots directors uses
often and also analyse the use of the angle.
15. Conclusion
- Although I am not planning to go university
straight after college but I am considering going
to university at some point in my life as I
thinking going to university will help develop my
photography or filmmaking skills even more and
I could also end up in a high paying job.
16. Introduction
When I do go university I will be considering or
will be applying doing an undergrade in
photography or filmmaking, I would study any of
these two courses as this two sections I have
doing at college in media are two areas I could
specialise and I have stated before it would help
develop skills even more also be able to get a
high paying job.
