of the employees thought the company would still keep operating and was simply filing
bankruptcy similar to how it did in previous years. There wasn t a thought of Aloha Airlines
actually shutting down. Some management employees stayed after receiving their letters, and
many workers still helped out. Similarly, I ve also talked to my boss, who worked at Continental
Airlines as a Flight Attendant. She had mentioned that the announcement was unexpected and they
were not given a 60 day notice when Continental Airlines decided to do a mass lay off. For a
group member who worked in the healthcare industry as one of the HR professionals did the mass

weeks of transitioning 1500 employees to Hawaii Medical Center, their Chairman of the Board

they did this layoff, my group member looked into the WARN Act and the HI Dislocated Workers

this situation and therefore the employees has to be given a 60 day notice. However, the Chairman

The King Case Of Rodney King
One of the examples of how the media can play a role in court cases is the Rodney King case.

robbery conviction and two friends were driving west on Interstate 210, on the night of March
3,1991, when California Highway Patrol officer spotted his care speeding down the Interstate. The

this time the Los Angeles Police Department(LAPD) had join the pursuit with several police cars

Capabilities and Potential for Cloud Storage in the...
Are cloud storage solutions irrelevant for a large organisation of 1,500 staff? An evaluation of
capabilities and potential for Cloud storage in the enterprise In this essay I will be evaluating
the capabilities and potential for cloud storage in enterprise. I will be doing this by evaluating
all of the features, abilities, drawbacks and limitations of cloud storage using the currently
available standards, products and protocols to help validate my views. I will first explain what
cloud computing and cloud storage is and how it came about, I will then go on to evaluate the
pros and cons of cloud storage and how it could affect a large organisation and then finally I will
use my findings and data to answer the question posed in this essay. In computing, cloud
computing and as a sub component, cloud storage is a term used to describe a large number of
computers or a few very large servers connected to each other through some form of network
usually a wide area network or internet link, this network is sometimes referred to as an internet
area network. The evolution of cloud computing started by the original concept in the 1950 s of
large servers which were accessible from terminals with no real processing capacity themselves
which would allow for multiple parties to share its resources with the connected terminals and
allow for more CPU uptime. This meant that the servers which may have cost thousands of pounds
or were only available for research use would be much more

Tweeting From Courtroom
Essay (30 points)
Using online databases, research the issue of tweeting from court. After learning the pros and con
surrounding the issue, write a 600 word opinion piece arguing either for or against allowing that
particular use of technology in court. Be sure to cite specific examples of cases (instances) where
tweeting was an issue.
Tweeting from courtroom is a method of reporting that is growing in popularity (Lozare, 2011).
Twitter can facilitate the transfer of information due to its simple interface and its popularity among
social media user. Using Twitter, reporters can conveniently provide quick updates and report some
interesting observations that might not show up in their articles (Lozare, 2011).
Regardless of its potential benefits, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Opponents of this issue argued that the possibility of a tweet to go viral might lead to mistrials and
contempt citations ( Reporters live tweeting from court risks mistrials , 2011). This is likely to
happen when journalists cross the line of reporting as they attempt to fit as many information as
possible within a short time frame and limited number of characters.
Considering the focus of this debate, it appears that one of the most important aspects of tweeting
from courtroom is the lack of editorial oversight. (Tweeting from courtrooms, 2012). Although this
situation might benefits the public through the lack of censorship, it has its fair share of
shortcomings too.
An example of the disadvantage of the lack of editorial oversight occurs when disturbing contents,
such as graphic evidence from a crime scene, are presented in the courtroom. Once content is
published on the Internet, it is often difficult to remove it the Internet. With the difficulty to decide
on appropriateness in a matter of seconds, tweeting from courts without editorial oversight might
cause some problems (Tweeting from courtrooms, 2012). For instance, journalists might
accidentally tweet something based on their opinion or prejudice rather than the fact, due to the fact
that they have to type their observation in real time. If this prejudice affects the public opinion, it
might harm the trial

Themes Of The Lais Of Marie De France
The Lais of Marie de France is a collection of poems that tell enchanting stories of handsome
knights, kings, queens, and romance. Although the lais varied in content; the subject of romantic
love is the common theme. Since romantic love is the central theme of the lais it is important to
define the term. According to the article, The Social Psychology of Loveand Attraction romantic
love is defined as, a love that is supposed to stand the test of time, enduring all hardship. Romantic
love emphasizes being in love with a certain individual (Braxton Davis 1). In the lais Bisclavret,
Equitan, Laustic there is a conflict between love and moral responsibility. Many of the characters
experience love and tragedy; yet, Marie de Franceprovides a witty insight into loves immoral issues.
In the lais loneliness, greed, excitement, and lust are the motivations for many of the characters
reckless actions. Marie de France demonstrates how these characteristics combined with romantic
infatuation, passion, and a yearning desire; influences corrupt behavior. This behavior then
manifested into character traits such as betrayal, adultery, and cruelty that are revealed throughout
the lais.
In the lai Bisclavret, a lord s wife stuffers a family curse and is exiled, as a result of her betrayal.

wife. Bisclavret wife confronts him, and he reveals that he goes into the forest and transforms into

Machiavellian Leadership In Macbeth
Manipulative, courageous, harsh and wise are some of the many individualities a true
Machiavellian holds. Throughout time, true Machiavellian leaders have significantly impacted not
only the political world but the way people have come to live and reason. William Shakespeare s
protagonist, Macbeth, does not exhibit the leadership strategies outlined in Machiavelli s The Prince
. After analyzing both novels Macbeth had shown himself to be an incompetent leader, who could
never be labeled a Machiavellian. To understand a true Machiavellian leader you must compare
and contrast a failed leader to a leader who has thrived, succeeded and in the end could be regarded
as a Machiavellian.

Introduction Of Wireless Sensor Networks
CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
Wireless Sensor Networks refers to incredibly distributed networks of small and lightweight
wireless nodes with very confined capabilities, deployed in large numbers in an open environment
to monitor the environmental conditions by measuring physical parameters such as temperature,
pressure, humidity etc. Each and every node (sensor) has a microprocessor and a small amount of
memory for sensing, signal processing and for communication purposes. Each sensor node
communicates wirelessly with different regional nodes within its radio conversation range.
Deployment of WSN s evade installation costs however at the same time power efficiency as a
main challenge. A scheme of a wireless sensor node connected to the internet is shown in Fig. 1:
wireless sensor networks ordinarily contains sensing unit, processing unit, transmission unit and
power unit.
Sensing unit: Sensing unit is made up of a sensor and analog to digital converters (ADCs) which
converts analog signal produced by sensor to digital signal. Sensor converts physical phenomenon
to electrical signal.
Processing unit: The processing unit constitutes of a microprocessor or microcontroller which
control sensors, execution of communication protocols and signal processing algorithms on the
collected sensor data.
Transmission unit: Transmission unit collects the information from the CPU and then transmit it to
the end user in the outside world.
Power unit: In wireless sensor community, the major

Gerontological Nursing Essay
Aging is a normal part of life. In 2015, the elderly population has increased to 47.8 million and is
expected to be 98 million in the year of 2060 (Administration on Aging (AoA), Administration for
Community Living, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 2016). This will lead to a
greater demand of gerontological nurses. Gerontological nursing is important to meet the health
needs of the elderly. The purpose of this post is to discuss the reasons why gerontological nursing
is an under served area of practice and why we need more gerontological nurses.
The term gerontological nurse means that a registered nurse is specialized in taking care of the
elderly to promote healthy aging and a better quality of life. I think so few students ... Show more

shows the changes in demographics of the elderly which helps gerontological nurses tailor specific
nursing interventions to improve rising issues of the elderly. This connection helps provide a better
quality of life for older Americans.
In conclusion, we need more gerontological nurses to take care of the increasing elderly
population. Gerontological nursing is an under served area of practice and having a shortage of
gerontological nurses can effect the care of the elderly. We need more gerontological nurses to help
promote healthy aging and a better quality of life for the population over 65 years old. Persuading

Interview With Dr. Beyette
When the interview assignment was presented in class, it didn t take long for me to decide

Beyette is my current Biology II professor. So far, I have really enjoyed her class and would
even consider it one of my favorite classes this fall semester. Dr. Beyette makes the class as
simple as possible and makes herself very approachable to her students. This is another reason I
decided to interview her. Through completing the interview, I learned more about Dr. Beyette in
her academic endeavours and her personal life as well. I started the interview with some basic
background questions. Some of these questions were asking if she was from Cincinnatiand where

Dr Beyette said, Science and technology is fascinating, but the first two years are hard because it s

Description Of My Birthday
What is that one day we wait for all year? Well of course, our birthday. We all wait for that special
day that is our birthday. Our birthday is that one special day that lets us know we are getting
older. We get older each year we reach our birthday, but have we wondered what happened the day
of our birth? I have also wondered what happened on November 30,2000.
The number one thing i know that happened on November 30 is that I was it was my birth day. I
was born on November 30 of the year 2000. That day seemed to be a very sunny afternoon. That
day my parents decided to name me Breanna. They name Breanna means noble strong and
virtuous; the name is the feminine version of the name Brian. The year 2000 was a special year
because it was the mathematical year and also because it was the international year for the
culture of peace. Christmas is also an important time of the year and that is also another event
most people wait forward to every year. In this year christmas wasn t to good for the people in
china because of a christmas party that turned deadly. The party was at an unlicensed disco, and it
caught on fire and ended up killing more than 300 people
I share my birthday with many people but what excites me the most is the to find famous people
that were born the same day as I was. Some famous people I share my birthday is Mark Twain, Sir
winston Churchill, Shirley Chisholm, John McCrae and Ben Stiller. Mark twain was a famous
american writer and was born on November 30, 1835. Sir winston Churchill was a British
statesman who served as a prime minister in the UK. Shirley Chisholm was the first american
black congresswoman and presidential candidate John McCrae was a war world 1 soldier who
wrote the memorial poem named In Flanders Fields that is very well known today, and Ben Stiller
is a famous actor and filmmaker. Some of this famous people have been very important to history
and that s why i m honored to share my birthday with them.
One first fact that I have found near my birthday is that on November 29,2000 there was an oil
spill 26 miles of the mississippi river. The spill affected many areas of the around the mississippi
river. No injuries were reported, but there was some wildlife animals

How Does Hagar Affect Margaret s Life
Margaret s works often reflected her real life experiences, although changed and dramatized.
This was clearly apparent in the themes of the book. Things such as struggles with control,
pride, and feminism. I will be analyzing how these themes were influenced by Margaret s life,
time period in which the book was written, and how this would have influenced the book. The
two people we are going to be focused on are Hagar and Margaret herself. Hargar is the main
character and protagonist of the story and Margaret is,obviously, the author. Since the book is
based on Margaret s experiences, Hagar would represent Margaret in the story. Considering the

her claims. Such as she mistook her father s actions as cruelty who s to say she didn t do the

She also wouldn t take responsibility when she was in the wrong. It is especially damaging, to

Alcohol And Anti Hypertension Medications Essay
Ethnicity and Anti hypertension Medications
Hypertension is a devastating disease state, increasing the risk for patients to develop strokes, heart
attacks, heart failure, and kidney dysfunction. It is prevalent in our population with an estimated 10
15% of Americans diagnosed with hypertension (Hitner Nagle, 2016). Hypertension is the leading
cause of cardiovascular disease (CVD), which results in nearly 1/3 of deaths annually in the United
States (Still, Ferdinand, Ogedegbe, Wright, 2015). Hypertension is more likely after the age 60, and
is more common in African American patients. It affects 40.4% of African Americans and only
27.4% of whites, causing the African American community to carry a higher burden of
hypertension related complications (Still et al., 2015). There is evidence that suggests some anti
hypertensive medications are more effective in the African American population, including
diuretics and calcium channel blockers (Flack, Nasser, Levy, 2011). It is important to understand
how ethnicity affects hypertension medications and what medications are preferential when
treating patients, especially of African American decent.
What is Hypertension?
There are two types of hypertension (hypertension), the most common is essential hypertension and
is the result of an unknown cause. Secondary hypertension occurs when the cause can be
established. Because the majority of hypertension is from an unknown there is little we can do to

Textbooks Vs Textbooks
How many countries are in the world, can dogs eat strawberries, what is the largest building in
South America? These are all great questions that can easily be researched on an iPad. Recent
studies show that as of 2016 43 percent of Americans read online books, magazines, or

country. They believe that tablets would be more effective for learning purposes and improve
standardized testing. In the U.S over 8 billion dollars are spent on outdated textbooks each year.
Replacing textbooks with tablets will benefit students in and outside the classroom.
The K 12 system has shown that switching to tablets instead of textbooks will lower the cost spent
on outdated textbooks by $250 $1000 a year per student. The textbook industry is made up of three
companies: McGraw Hill, Pearson, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. With all companies combined
schools pay around $8 billion a year on textbooks that students do not want to carry nor read.
Opposing sides believe that the cost of an electronic tablet will substantially exceed the price of a

anywhere from $350 $800. iPads would also save money in the long run by reducing printing and

Ethics, Metaphysics, Religion, Epistemology, And Anthropology

Philosophy is the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence. After taking

The Diamond As Big As The Ritz, By F. Scott Fitzgerald
Contrary to what society thinks, a wealthy lifestyle doesn t constitute unlimited happiness. Within
F. Scott Fitzgerald s novella, The Diamond As Big As The Ritz, we witness a fairy tale that
recounts the life of those bathing in wealth and the consequences of prosperity. Fitzgerald describes
the world of an extremely prosperous family and the horrid habits that are entailed. The author
enumerates how an exceptional avidity towards fortune alters the Washington family s life and
leads to their defeat. Overall, this novella includes various themes revolving around greed that
ultimately lead to the family s destruction, that are well developed by literary techniques such as
personification, imagery, and characterization. Throughout The Diamond As Big As The Ritz, the
author analyzes the strength of the Washingtons material possessions. In pursuance of his
argument regarding the dominance of wealth, Fitzgerald utilizes personification. At the beginning,
the protagonist John T. Unger, feels inferior within the house. John T. Unger is an upper class
teenager from Hades who befriends a wealthy kid at his school named Percy Washington (3).
After a few conversations, Percy decides to invite John to visit his estate. The narrator declares,
his chair, feathered, and curved insidiously to his back, seemed to engulf and overpower him as he
drank his first glass of port (19). Not only is the family themselves powerful but their property that
they purchase becomes

As a kid, I grew up reading fictional stories; the first book I ever held was the story of Winnie the
Pooh and his friends (a gift from my parents when I got sick), watching and discovering sorts of
characters from animated shows; and that includes imitating Disney Princesses of course, and
many others. So when I was 7, I started wanting to become a successful artist, a writer, or any other
that was connected with the arts and crafts. Why? It started when I was little and flourished when I
entered school.
Now that I am 18, living a life with a purpose of reaching my goals, I wanted something unusual
to experience a situation wherein I have to dedicate myself to it, passionate enough to
accomplish that something. Hopefully, if ever I get a chance to talk to the 7 year old me, we

I learned from my mistakes, how to survive when you re on a cliff and many others. Also, maybe

Determinants Of Short Term Debt Financing
Discuss the topic and its variables.
The topic under study is Determinants of short term debt financing. When we have a look at this
topic, we see that this whole article clearly states the factors that influence or affect the short term
debt financing.
This tells us that the amount of short term debt financing, which a firm is having in use, is
directly related to the quantity of a firm s current assets. Short term assets and liabilities are said
to be those items which can be used, can be liquidated, mature or even paid off within a period of
one year.
This also states, that a firm should keep on adjusting its short term debt financing until the amount
of that firm s current liabilities equals to that of its current assets and a firm s short term debt
financing should vary over time, as we know that the amount of a firm s current assets and
liabilities does change.
Even if a firm grows, the amount of its current assets will increase and same goes for the current
liabilities. SO, in accordance with this, a firm will have to increase the amount of its short term
debt financing. If a firm s current assets decrease, then the amount of its short term debt financing
and other current liabilities will decrease. Hence, this is called the size effect on short term debt
and it leads to a direct relationship between a firm s current assets balance and short term debt
financing.
Furthermore, another source of change in a firm s short term debt financing may occur if we take

Albert Bandura Girls And Social Learning Theory Of Aggression
Let s shift our focus to what Albert Bandura mainly studied, aggression. Specifically, females. The
article Girls and physical aggression: Causes, trends, and intervention guided by Social Learning
Theory explores females becoming the perpetrators of physical aggression (Snethen, Puymbroeck
2008). They apply the Social Learning Theoryof Aggressionas their basis to examine the growing
occurrences of violence in females, society and popular culture. They propose that females taking
part in physical aggression is becoming very common, they claim it may be due to environmental
changes (Snethen, Puymbroeck 2008). Females are defenseless from a variety of sources, such as
the media, family and the community. Nonetheless, according to Bandura s SLT exposure only
provides the knowledge and increased acceptance of physical aggression (Snethen, Puymbroeck
2008). For the aggressiveness to be triggered the individual must get emotionally affected, which
leads them to want to gain status and power. Hence, aggression will only be ongoing if there is a
reinforcement (Snethen, Puymbroeck 2008). The three main types of reinforcements are direct,
vicarious, and self reinforcement. To effectively help females, the researchers came up with two
solutions, one being that the entire community should help prevent aggressive behavior in females.
Secondly, since prevention will not aid those now affected girls they suggest planning an
implementation of treatment specifically for

Celiac Disease Vs Wheat Allergy
Bring Your Body Back to Health
Differences Between Celiac Disease and Wheat Allergy
A celiac disease should not be confused with wheat allergy or gluten intolerance. There are several
differences between autoimmune disorders and allergies. In order to understand these differences,
you will need to know a bit about the immune system.
The main job of human immune system is to protect against disease and other potentially damaging
foreign bodies such as bacteria and viruses, and also build protection against these invaders if they
try to attack again. When functioning properly, the immune system identifies a variety of threats
and distinguishes them from the body s own healthy tissue. The process of getting rid of foreign
substances and developing ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Celiac disease is often confused for an allergic illness because (like an allergy) it requires a foreign
substance to trigger it. Usually diagnosed by a gastroenterologist, it is a digestive disease that can
cause serious complications, including malnutrition and intestinal damage, if left untreated.
Individuals with celiac disease must avoid gluten, found in wheat, rye, barley and sometimes oats.
There seems to be a genetic predisposition to developing celiac disease, however not all people
with a family history of celiac disease develop the condition. There is another reason, yet unknown,
why the autoimmune response

Essay about William Butler Yeats
William Butler Yeats. William Butler Yeats was the major figure in the cultural revolution which
developed from the strong nationalistic movement at the end of the 19th century. He dominated
the writings of a generation. He established forms and themes which came to be considered as
the norms for writers of his generation. Yeats was a confessional poet that is to say, that he wrote
his poetry directly from his own experiences. He was an idealist, with a purpose. This was to
create Art for his own people the Irish. But in so doing, he experienced considerable frustration and
disillusionment. The tension between this ideal, and the reality is the basis of much of his writing.
One central theme of his earlier poetry is the contrast... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the final stanza, the poet s mood of anger and bitterness changes to one of acceptance and
resignation. He concludes that these petty minded merchants are so locked into their narrow
world of self centred survival, that they are incapable of understanding the motivation and self
sacrifice of patriotism. Even if the dead heroes could return and confront the merchants with the
extent of their sacrifices, they would be unable to understand or appreciate what they had done.
Self interest and materialism reign, idealism is dead and buried. He concludes on a weary note
of acceptance. But let them be, they re dead and gone, They re with O Leary in the grave. The

Fisherman, a wise and simple man who is the symbol of the Irish nation he had hoped to write
for. Yeats has long since accepted that such a man does not exist, but nonetheless he holds on to
him as an inspiration to protect himself against the reality. The reality is depicted in a litany of
powerful, clever men, who misuse their abilities for their own personal ends which are chiefly, the
acquisition and maintenance of power. Their goal is public acclaim, cynically acquired through a

Race Based On Physical Appearance
The concept of race as it is known today began innocently, as a useful point of comparison
between peoples based on physical appearance. Over time, the idea of color was corrupted by
various ruling classes, who discovered that this brand of disenfranchisement was useful to create
and maintain an exploitable lower class. What was once a descriptor was twisted into a tool of
oppression, insidiously folded into society through language, mythology, and the normalization of
racebased enslavement.
As society moved from interactions between local groups to travel and trade between countries
and continents, meaningful distinctions between peoples became less specific. While it was
once useful to refer to one s neighbors by their language or ethnic group, a broader world meant
far too many languages and ethnic groups for that categorization to be used. Categories grew,
grouping people by their religion, culture, broad geographical location and physical characteristics.
One such categorization was color. In some cases, color was entirely comparative, used not to
define a group on their own but rather with reference to another. Arabs in antiquity would describe
themselves as black when differentiating themselves from the brown Bedouins and the red
Persians and Europeans, but also describe themselves as being white or red in comparison to black
Africans (lecture September 27). However, the concept of black as an intrinsic qualification
emerged and gained traction in

Overcoming Abusive Childhood In Thomas Sayer Ellis Sticks
When children are growing, their very first role models are often their parents. Though this is true,
they are not always the best ones. This idea is exemplified in Thomas Sayer Ellis s poem, Sticks. In
the poem Sticks, the theme of overcoming an abusive childhood is demonstrated through the poets
use of figurative language, sound and structural devices, and tone.
To begin, Ellis uses figurative language throughout the poem to express a theme of overcoming an
abusive childhood. Ellis uses imagery to suggest that his father had a very loud, outstanding
voice when he says No one could outshout him / or make bigger fists. (7 8). This is very effective
because it gives the reader a sense of understanding of what is was like for the narrator ... Show

He uses alliteration several times throughout the poem. For example, Ellis looks apon how as a
child he imitated his father, despite the pain he was causing him. He expresses this when he
says a plagiarist, hitting the things he hit (13). This use of alliteration adds flow to the poem in
addition to adding extreme emotion for the readers. The use of caesura in this poem breaks
apart the ideas that Ellis is trying to express. As mentioned above, the first five paragraphs are
mentioned in a form of past tense where as the remaining three are in the present tense. Before
the last three paragraphs break, there is a caesura which represents a change in tone as well as
time. Ellis represents this idea when he states I discovered writing/ How words are parts of
speech/ with beats and breaths of their own (21). This part of the poem is very important and
represents a break in theme. Where the poem from before that was of the past, from that point
on, the poem becomes hopeful. It is at that point that the narrator broke the cycle of abuse and
did the opposite of what might be expected from a child who grew up in an abusive home.
Whereas when he was a child he intimidated his father and idolized him, he chose a positive outlet

Reinhold Niebhur s Views On Original Sin
Reinhold Niebhur s views on Original sin fall in line with my own actually; I do believe that
man is inherently evil with power to do good. As much of a blessing that free will is, I believe it
to also be a curse because nothing good comes free. With the freedom to make our decisions
comes the responsibilty to not only know but also to understand the effects of them. Every action
has a reaction, and sin is the reaction to free will. Niebuhr holds that man is responsible for his
unintentional sins, even if there was no malice. Niebuhr argues through Pauline teachings that sin
is essential; especially with man s tendency for self glorification. Pauline teachings indicate that
human sin is an inevitable defect derived from the sin of the first man .... Show more content on

This is easily seen because humans are faulty beings, who often fall into error even with good
intentions. Our faulty minds and free will can easily fll prey deception and misinterpretation of
what we think we saw with ignorance and imagination filling the gaps, and no matter what level of
mental fortitude, sense of morality, or innate holiness man possesses. Man still falls subject to
deception. If our minds, which are factors in our free will, can be subjected to manipulation, it is
not bizarre to claim that man sins unintentionally and is responsible to correct its actions.
Man s biggest flaw is its weakness in the face of temptation because temptation also lies in its
heart. Man s free will is inherently corrupted by the temptations of life and the world. While free
will pushed man s creativity to what seems to be a limitless boundary, it has also played a part in
man s own undoing. Man s undoing lies in their ego and desire for self gratification and self
glorification. They constantly strive to expand their presence and knowledge so much so that it
seems to know no bounds. However even with man s ambition it is all subject to God s

Doctors have to start the treatment without the complete information of patient s medical history,
which sometimes, is life threatening for the patient. Technologies could be used in healthcare sector
to provide better healthcare facilities and reduce the operations costs. In our country we see that
there is scarcity of doctors, nurses and pharmacy. But still there is rapid growth in healthcare
services, while diseases are becoming more complex. More and more new and efficient diagnostic
techniques and new way of treatments are being developed and used in healthcare sector so as to
provide the patients with best possible treatment and in their budget. Many healthcare organizations
are providing different kind of services to cater to highly diversified economic population which in
turn has resulted in competition in the market. So the organizations which do not perform well are
out of business. [3][4] As healthcare providers need cost effective automating processes which
gives more profits, cloud computing will provide perfect platform in the healthcare information
technology space. Many hospitals may share infrastructure with large number of systems linked
together. By this pooling the hospitals automatically reduce the cost and increase utilization. The
resources are delivered only when they are required. This also means realtime availability of patient

Predisposition In The News Media
When it comes to politics and media, the left argues that the right is more biased than the left while
the right argues that the left is more biased than the right. Who s right? News media predisposition
is real. It diminishes the nature of news coverage, and it cultivates doubt among peruses and
viewers. This is terrible for the majority rule government. Predisposition in the news media shows
itself most capably not as through and through, deliberate untruths, but rather is frequently an
element of what the correspondents pick not to tell their group of onlookers; for example the truths
they intentionally discard in order to abstain from repudiating the political story they wish to
progress. Study after study has demonstrated that the standard... Show more content on

news media have no good thing to say in regards to him ever! They never accentuation how he s

Rachel Carson was an influential woman in the 1960s ;she was famous for her book Silent
Springs. After she wrote her book it brought up some controversy about the environment. Thus,
beginning EPA and the start of the national holiday Earth Day. The book is based off of the
harmful effects that chemicals have on the Earth like DDT. According to Proquest ,2001 it
mentions in Rachel Carson that, One of the most dramatic results of her environmental activism
was the U.S. government s order to stop spraying the pesticide DDT in 1964 ( p.1). Because of the

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CAPS) Analysis
There are over 20 million people in the world today suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder
(Lenz, Bruijn, Serman, N. S., Bailey, 2014). PTSD is an incredibly misunderstood disorder that
has many different types of assessments and forms of therapy made specifically to help those that
are suffering from it. Being able to know about and understand how and why these treatments
work is a major part in helping these 20 million people. To begin with, for people to fully
comprehend what happens to a person s brain when they are diagnosed with PTSD they have to
know about the assessments those people have to undergo once they are diagnosed. CAPS is an
hour long assessment in which the patient must go through a structured clinical interview
(Bardhoshi, Erford, B. T., Duncan, Dummett, Falco, Deferio, Kraft, 2016, p. 184). The CAPS
assessment includes an analysis of 30 different symptoms and scores them on a scale from 0 4 to
measure the intensity and the frequency of those symptoms (Bardhoshi, et al., 2014). CAPS is one
of the most frequently used assessments in measuring how the symptoms will... Show more content

Cognitive Processing Therapy is a form of therapy that integrates aspects of traditional cognitive
therapy with information processing theory (Lenz, et al., 2014, p. 360) (as cited in Resick et al.,
2007; Resick Schnicke, 1993). CPT was created based on the presumption that for a person with
PTSD to improve they must first have those memories activated in order for the fallacious
attributions and expectations to be substituted with corrective information (Lenz, et al., 2014, p.
360). CPT often involves the patients to do assignments out of therapy to let them practice the
different perspectives and action that they had learned in therapy (Lenz et al., 2014). CPT can also
be paired with other types of therapy such as grief counseling if the patient needs it (Lenz et al.,

Great Wall Of China Essay
The largest project in the world is the Great Wall of China. The Great Wall of China is the longest
wall the in the world. The Long Wall has a long history more than 2,300 years. It was built in
different areas by different states/dynasties to protect different territorial borders. It stretches about
1,500 miles from Bo Hai off the Yellow Sea in the East to the Gansuprovince in the West and it
also took over 10 years to build. (Kelly). The wall was very long it reached over 4 places. The
wall dates from the Ming dynasty (1368 1644) and runs for some 5,500 miles east to west from
Mount Hu near Dandong, southeastern Liaoning province, to Jiayu Pass west of Jiuquan,
northwestern Gansu province ( Great Wall of China). It is believed to be the largest graveyard in
history because bones of the workers that died during construction were buried along with the
material to build the wall. The wall served to mark the boundary between the agricultural
civilization of China and the civilization of the nomadic tribes of the north and northwest (
Architecture ). The Great Wall of China was very important especially the architecture, why did
they build the wall and the battles. To begin, the architecture took over 10 years to build. The
workers were soldiers, peasants, and rebels it also took a lot of blood, sweat, and tears from them.

How Is Charles Darnay Selfish
Making decisions can t always be easy especially if there s consequences to your actions. Charles

didn t want to end up like the people in his family meaning that he didn t want to oppose on their
crimes and the bad things they ve done therefore he made the choice to leave his heritage and
voluntarily exile himself and become a whole new person. Some people may argue in saying
that was or wasn t a noble action but i think it wasn t a noble deed because it was selfish and he

Essay on Benito Cereno by Herman Melville
Benito Cereno by Herman Melville
In many stories, the main characters carry the plot of a story throughout the book. The author often
expresses the message that he desires the reader to receive through their thoughts and actions. Yet,
the minor characters often have a large affect on the outcome of the book, although it is not quite
as obvious to the reader. By altering the thoughts or actions of the main characters, a seemingly
minor player in a novel may actually, at closer examination, be an important player in the plot. In
the short story Benito Cereno, by Herman Melville, the minor character, Atufal, largely influenced
Captain Delano, who is a main character. Delano s assessments and opinions aboard the Spanish

Cereno as to why he was treating the slave with such cruelty. Atufal s performance caused Delano
to believe that Cereno was in control of the happenings on the boat, and that his prior concerns
about the role of the Negroes on the San Dominick should be put to rest.
Delano did not do much more than shortly entertain the idea that the blacks were, in fact, in
control of the Spanish vessel because of what he witnessed in the situation of Atufal. Atufal
affected the plot because he caused Delano to doubt his suspicions, which therefore played a
major role in the actions of this main character. The observations of Atufal by Delano greatly
helped to form his attitude towards the Negroes upon the ship. The supposed cruelty of Don
Cereno towards the slave Atufal created an image of obedience by the blacks in Delano s mind.
Delano thought, But [the Negroes] were too stupid (177). Perhaps if Atufal had not implanted
images of white supremacy aboard the ship, Captain Delano might have acted sooner in helping to
return the ship to Benito Cereno. In the classic story Benito Cereno, by Herman Melville, the minor
character Atufal greatly affected the opinions of the main character, Captain Delano, which
therefore plays a major part in the plot. Many times attention is not paid to the minor characters of
a novel; however, they are essential to the development of

Research Paper On Social Darwinism
Introduction
Social Darwinism is a quasi philosophical, quasi religious, quasi sociological view that came from
the mind of Herbert Spencer, an English philosopher in the 19th century. It did not achieve wide
acceptance in England or Europe, but flourished in this country, as is true of many ideologies,
religions, and philosophies. A good summary of Social Darwinismis by Johnson:
In these years, when Darwin s Origin of Species, popularized by Herbert Spencer as quot;the
survival of the fittest, quot; and applied to races as well as species in a vulgarized form, Social
Darwinism, the coming Christian triumph was presented as an Anglo Saxon Protestant one.
Social Darwinism is by no means dead, for vestiges of it can be found in the ... Show more content

(That is, they were not of the same kind, type or variety.)
What this seemed to mean to Darwin was biological evolution. Organisms better suited to their
environment gained some survival advantage and passed their genetically transmitted
advantages to their offsprings. Darwin thought that this process was extremely slow and even.
In fact, we became aware that it is neither slow nor even: there are examples of a good deal of
change in a short period of time; and there are examples of very little change over a long period
of time. Nor did Darwin understand the mechanism by which the transmission took place. This was
to be figured out by Gregor Mendel, Thomas Hunt Morgan, DeVries and in our own time, Watson
and Crick who deduced the spiral shape of the DNA molecule.
Darwin s discoveries struck his native England, as well as Europe, and this country with an
enormous impact. They ran into total conflict with the idea of special creation, which one can find
in the Book of Genesis, especially Chapter I and II. The emotional impact of Darwin s discoveries
have not abated.
The Misapplication of a Biological Theory
But, for our purposes, it is the use to which some people made of biological evolution which
concerns us. Some simplified the idea to quot;survival of the fittest. quot; Others believed that an
identical process took place among human beings. They believed that white Protestant Europeans
had evolved

The heroism and bravery of those who took part in the D Day has been brought to the big screen
from several perspectives. 1939 1945 were some of the most horrific times in the broad spectrum
of human conflict ever seen by mankind with unmatched weapons of devastation and the senseless
slaughter of millions of lives both on and off the fields of battle. The Longest Day (1962) is a
brilliant rendition of the famous D Day invasion of Normandy. The film is quite accurate, depicting
the perspectives of all sides of the war involved in the event. Multiple viewpoints give the film an

One scene in SPR reinforces how death takes its time. One soldier had his arm blown off, then
stoops down to pick it up. Spielberg has managed to give us a clearer indication of war merely by
using the latest technology available to him.
Camera techniques are imperative to each film. By using different techniques, the director can
create various moods, or change our perception on the whole film. We would expect the techniques
in Saving Private Ryan to be more sophisticated, as it is quite a modern film. The Longest Day is
filmed and edited in a way, which uses the panning shot so it is edited quite slowly. The camera
is placed to show as much action as possible. Zanuck has used the panning and aerial shots to
illustrate a large scale action, without much personal involvement. It is more respectful as it
leaves out much dwelling on physical violence of war where in contrast, Spielberg exposes war
as it is in the sense that there is a high level of violence and death. In the Longest Day, when the
soldiers are running across the beach, the camera moves along with them. The camera also flicks
close up to the allies. The Americans are portrayed as being faultless while the Germans are
revealed as being

Sexism
Since the beginning of history, sexism has always been a prominent barrier between
sexes. The notion that women are not on the same level as men has always been in existence. We
see that even during the book of exodus this belief stems from the creation of Eve, through a rib
of Adam. From scripture, Eve s roll was to be considered as a servant and a temptress, the sole
reason why Adam ate the apple. Consequently Eve is blamed as being the reason mankind is not
living in a paradise. Sexism has continued throughout ancient history and continues occur in our

Most people would debate that
men are much stronger and better athletes. According to the race however, there was very little
difference between man and woman versus the first man and the last man. Clearly this shows
that gender bias if not ethical is clearly incorrect.
What about emotions? Do certain genders carry more tendency to act a certain way? In
1970 a study conducted by two psychologists at Stanford university showed four amazing things.
They sifted though nearly 1500 research papers, studied behavior tendencies and only found
four differences: Males are more aggressive then females, girls have better verbal skills
then boys, boys have better visual spatial ability and boys have better mathematical ability from
about thirteen onward. Another interesting piece of information that they discovered that on
average these differences were extremely small. (Shaw, 21)

INTRODUCTION:
Requirement Engineering is the initial and crucial step in the Software Development. In the past
few years Requirement Engineering phase has been given much of an importance, it basically refers
to gathering of information from the client that is required for the development of the project. This
phase is crucial as it forms the foundation of the project. The Requirement Engineering phase is
broke down into three stages, Requirement Elicitation, Requirement Specification and Requirement
validation.
This paper is going to discuss the various techniques that are generally practiced for Requirement
Elicitation. The term Requirement Elicitation refers to gathering of information about the project
from clients, users and other stake holders. It is quite a complicated process as the user never really
knows what exactly he wants, the information cannot be collected just by asking different questions
about the project. There are various techniques that are in practice for this purpose. Rest of this
paper discusses about such techniques along with their pros and cons.

There wasn t a thought of Aloha Airlines actually shutting down. Some management employees stayed after receiving their letters, and many workers still helped out. Similarly, I ve also talked to my boss, who worked at Continental Airlines as a Flight Attendant. She had mentioned that the announcement was unexpected and they were not given a 60 day notice when Continental Airlines decided to do a mass lay off. For a group member who worked in the healthcare industry as one of the HR professionals did the mass layoff herself when St. Francis sold the two medical centers to Hawaii Medical Center. Within two weeks of transitioning 1500 employees to Hawaii Medical Center, their Chairman of the Board informed the Sr. Admin Team that they had to cut one third of our workforce in two weeks. The professor I chose to interview was Dr. Jill Beyette. Dr. Beyette is my current Biology II professor. So far, I have really enjoyed her class and would even consider it one of my favorite classes this fall semester. Dr. Beyette makes the class as simple as possible and makes herself very approachable to her students. This is another reason I decided to interview her. Through completing the interview, I learned more about Dr. Beyette in her academic endeavours and her personal life as well. I started the interview with some basic background questions. I have also wondered what happened on November 30,2000. The number one thing i know that happened on November 30 is that I was it was my birth day. I was born on November 30 of the year 2000. That day seemed to be a very sunny afternoon. That day my parents decided to name me Breanna. They name Breanna means noble strong and virtuous; the name is the feminine version of the name Brian. The year 2000 was a special year because it was the mathematical year and also because it was the international year for the culture of peace. Christmas is also an important time of the year and that is also another event most people wait forward to every year. Alcohol And Anti Hypertension Medications Essay Ethnicity and Anti hypertension Medications Hypertension is a devastating disease state, increasing the risk for patients to develop strokes, heart attacks, heart failure, and kidney dysfunction. It is prevalent in our population with an estimated 10 15% of Americans diagnosed with hypertension (Hitner Nagle, 2016). Hypertension is the leading cause of cardiovascular disease (CVD), which results in nearly 1/3 of deaths annually in the United States (Still, Ferdinand, Ogedegbe, Wright, 2015). Hypertension is more likely after the age 60, and is more common in African American patients. It affects 40.4% of African Americans and only 27.4% of whites, causing the African American community to carry a higher burden of hypertension related complications (Still et al., 2015). There is evidence that suggests some anti hypertensive medications are more effective in the African American population, including diuretics and calcium channel blockers (Flack, Nasser, Levy, 2011). It is important to understand how ethnicity affects hypertension medications and what medications are preferential when treating patients, especially of African American decent. What is Hypertension? Scott Fitzgerald s novella, The Diamond As Big As The Ritz, we witness a fairy tale that recounts the life of those bathing in wealth and the consequences of prosperity. Fitzgerald describes the world of an extremely prosperous family and the horrid habits that are entailed. The author enumerates how an exceptional avidity towards fortune alters the Washington family s life and leads to their defeat. Overall, this novella includes various themes revolving around greed that ultimately lead to the family s destruction, that are well developed by literary techniques such as personification, imagery, and characterization. In pursuance of his argument regarding the dominance of wealth, Fitzgerald utilizes personification. At the beginning, the protagonist John T. Unger, feels inferior within the house. John T. When we have a look at this topic, we see that this whole article clearly states the factors that influence or affect the short term debt financing. This tells us that the amount of short term debt financing, which a firm is having in use, is directly related to the quantity of a firm s current assets. Short term assets and liabilities are said to be those items which can be used, can be liquidated, mature or even paid off within a period of one year. This also states, that a firm should keep on adjusting its short term debt financing until the amount of that firm s current liabilities equals to that of its current assets and a firm s short term debt financing should vary over time, as we know that the amount of a firm s current assets and liabilities does change. Even if a firm grows, the amount of its current assets will increase and same goes for the current liabilities. SO, in accordance with this, a firm will have to increase the amount of its short term debt financing. If a firm s current assets decrease, then the amount of its short term debt financing and other current liabilities will decrease. Hence, this is called the size effect on short term debt and it leads to a direct relationship between a firm s current assets balance and short term debt financing. The article Girls and physical aggression: Causes, trends, and intervention guided by Social Learning Theory explores females becoming the perpetrators of physical aggression (Snethen, Puymbroeck 2008). They apply the Social Learning Theoryof Aggressionas their basis to examine the growing occurrences of violence in females, society and popular culture. They propose that females taking part in physical aggression is becoming very common, they claim it may be due to environmental changes (Snethen, Puymbroeck 2008). Females are defenseless from a variety of sources, such as the media, family and the community. Nonetheless, according to Bandura s SLT exposure only provides the knowledge and increased acceptance of physical aggression (Snethen, Puymbroeck 2008). For the aggressiveness to be triggered the individual must get emotionally affected, which leads them to want to gain status and power. Hence, aggression will only be ongoing if there is a reinforcement (Snethen, Puymbroeck 2008). The three main types of reinforcements are direct, vicarious, and self reinforcement. To effectively help females, the researchers came up with two solutions, one being that the entire community should help prevent aggressive behavior in females. Secondly, since prevention will not aid those now affected girls they suggest planning an implementation of treatment specifically for ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Bedtime Stories As Told By Our Dad Who Messed Them Up This past December I had the honor of being a clown for Perry High School s children show, Bedtime Stories As Told by Our Dad Who Messed Them Up which means I watched the show three different times excluding dress rehearsal and any practices I attended. Two performances were held on December 1st and one performance was presented on December 2nd. On Friday, December 1st children from Perry Elementary schools and St. Joan of Arc were bussed to the high school to watch the show. The clowns were given the job of seating these energetic excited little youngsters who were hilarious and so interactive. Every time one of the actors would ask an open ended question the kids would shout what they thought the answer was. There was one moment when one of the characters was trying to figure out Rumpelstiltskin s name so she listed names which could be correct. Most of the kids shouted No! when she would list a name but there was one kid in the back who kept on shouting his name and the clowns in the back were cracking up. • 37. Race Based On Physical Appearance The concept of race as it is known today began innocently, as a useful point of comparison between peoples based on physical appearance. Over time, the idea of color was corrupted by various ruling classes, who discovered that this brand of disenfranchisement was useful to create and maintain an exploitable lower class. What was once a descriptor was twisted into a tool of oppression, insidiously folded into society through language, mythology, and the normalization of racebased enslavement. As society moved from interactions between local groups to travel and trade between countries and continents, meaningful distinctions between peoples became less specific. While it was once useful to refer to one s neighbors by their language or ethnic group, a broader world meant far too many languages and ethnic groups for that categorization to be used. Categories grew, grouping people by their religion, culture, broad geographical location and physical characteristics. One such categorization was color. In some cases, color was entirely comparative, used not to define a group on their own but rather with reference to another. Arabs in antiquity would describe themselves as black when differentiating themselves from the brown Bedouins and the red Persians and Europeans, but also describe themselves as being white or red in comparison to black Africans (lecture September 27). • 38. Overcoming Abusive Childhood In Thomas Sayer Ellis Sticks When children are growing, their very first role models are often their parents. Though this is true, they are not always the best ones. This idea is exemplified in Thomas Sayer Ellis s poem, Sticks. In the poem Sticks, the theme of overcoming an abusive childhood is demonstrated through the poets use of figurative language, sound and structural devices, and tone. To begin, Ellis uses figurative language throughout the poem to express a theme of overcoming an abusive childhood. Ellis uses imagery to suggest that his father had a very loud, outstanding voice when he says No one could outshout him / or make bigger fists. (7 8). This is very effective because it gives the reader a sense of understanding of what is was like for the narrator ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He uses alliteration several times throughout the poem. For example, Ellis looks apon how as a child he imitated his father, despite the pain he was causing him. He expresses this when he says a plagiarist, hitting the things he hit (13). This use of alliteration adds flow to the poem in addition to adding extreme emotion for the readers. The use of caesura in this poem breaks apart the ideas that Ellis is trying to express. As mentioned above, the first five paragraphs are mentioned in a form of past tense where as the remaining three are in the present tense. Before the last three paragraphs break, there is a caesura which represents a change in tone as well as time. Ellis represents this idea when he states I discovered writing/ How words are parts of speech/ with beats and breaths of their own (21). This part of the poem is very important and represents a break in theme. Where the poem from before that was of the past, from that point on, the poem becomes hopeful. It is at that point that the narrator broke the cycle of abuse and did the opposite of what might be expected from a child who grew up in an abusive home. Whereas when he was a child he intimidated his father and idolized him, he chose a positive outlet and did not become the man that his father was. • 39. Reinhold Niebhur s Views On Original Sin Reinhold Niebhur s views on Original sin fall in line with my own actually; I do believe that man is inherently evil with power to do good. As much of a blessing that free will is, I believe it to also be a curse because nothing good comes free. With the freedom to make our decisions comes the responsibilty to not only know but also to understand the effects of them. Every action has a reaction, and sin is the reaction to free will. Niebuhr holds that man is responsible for his unintentional sins, even if there was no malice. Our faulty minds and free will can easily fll prey deception and misinterpretation of what we think we saw with ignorance and imagination filling the gaps, and no matter what level of mental fortitude, sense of morality, or innate holiness man possesses. Man still falls subject to deception. If our minds, which are factors in our free will, can be subjected to manipulation, it is not bizarre to claim that man sins unintentionally and is responsible to correct its actions. Man s biggest flaw is its weakness in the face of temptation because temptation also lies in its heart. Man s free will is inherently corrupted by the temptations of life and the world. While free will pushed man s creativity to what seems to be a limitless boundary, it has also played a part in man s own undoing. Delano did not do much more than shortly entertain the idea that the blacks were, in fact, in control of the Spanish vessel because of what he witnessed in the situation of Atufal. Atufal affected the plot because he caused Delano to doubt his suspicions, which therefore played a major role in the actions of this main character. • 49. Research Paper On Social Darwinism Introduction Social Darwinism is a quasi philosophical, quasi religious, quasi sociological view that came from the mind of Herbert Spencer, an English philosopher in the 19th century. It did not achieve wide acceptance in England or Europe, but flourished in this country, as is true of many ideologies, religions, and philosophies. A good summary of Social Darwinismis by Johnson: In these years, when Darwin s Origin of Species, popularized by Herbert Spencer as quot;the survival of the fittest, quot; and applied to races as well as species in a vulgarized form, Social Darwinism, the coming Christian triumph was presented as an Anglo Saxon Protestant one. Social Darwinism is by no means dead, for vestiges of it can be found in the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... (That is, they were not of the same kind, type or variety.) What this seemed to mean to Darwin was biological evolution. Organisms better suited to their environment gained some survival advantage and passed their genetically transmitted advantages to their offsprings. Darwin thought that this process was extremely slow and even. In fact, we became aware that it is neither slow nor even: there are examples of a good deal of change in a short period of time; and there are examples of very little change over a long period of time. Nor did Darwin understand the mechanism by which the transmission took place. This was to be figured out by Gregor Mendel, Thomas Hunt Morgan, DeVries and in our own time, Watson and Crick who deduced the spiral shape of the DNA molecule. Darwin s discoveries struck his native England, as well as Europe, and this country with an enormous impact. They ran into total conflict with the idea of special creation, which one can find in the Book of Genesis, especially Chapter I and II. The emotional impact of Darwin s discoveries have not abated. The Misapplication of a Biological Theory But, for our purposes, it is the use to which some people made of biological evolution which concerns us. Some simplified the idea to quot;survival of the fittest. quot; Others believed that an identical process took place among human beings. They believed that white Protestant Europeans had evolved ... Comparing The Media Techniques Used to Present the D Day Landings in the Longest Day and Saving Private Ryan The heroism and bravery of those who took part in the D Day has been brought to the big screen from several perspectives. 1939 1945 were some of the most horrific times in the broad spectrum of human conflict ever seen by mankind with unmatched weapons of devastation and the senseless slaughter of millions of lives both on and off the fields of battle. The Longest Day (1962) is a brilliant rendition of the famous D Day invasion of Normandy. The film is quite accurate, depicting the perspectives of all sides of the war involved in the event. One soldier had his arm blown off, then stoops down to pick it up. Spielberg has managed to give us a clearer indication of war merely by using the latest technology available to him. Camera techniques are imperative to each film. By using different techniques, the director can create various moods, or change our perception on the whole film. We would expect the techniques in Saving Private Ryan to be more sophisticated, as it is quite a modern film. The Longest Day is filmed and edited in a way, which uses the panning shot so it is edited quite slowly. The camera is placed to show as much action as possible. Zanuck has used the panning and aerial shots to illustrate a large scale action, without much personal involvement. It is more respectful as it leaves out much dwelling on physical violence of war where in contrast, Spielberg exposes war as it is in the sense that there is a high level of violence and death. In the Longest Day, when the soldiers are running across the beach, the camera moves along with them. The camera also flicks close up to the allies. The Americans are portrayed as being faultless while the Germans are revealed as being ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

We see that even during the book of exodus this belief stems from the creation of Eve, through a rib of Adam. From scripture, Eve s roll was to be considered as a servant and a temptress, the sole reason why Adam ate the apple. Consequently Eve is blamed as being the reason mankind is not living in a paradise. Sexism has continued throughout ancient history and continues occur in our own environment to this day. Most people would debate that men are much stronger and better athletes. According to the race however, there was very little difference between man and woman versus the first man and the last man. Clearly this shows that gender bias if not ethical is clearly incorrect. What about emotions? Do certain genders carry more tendency to act a certain way? In 1970 a study conducted by two psychologists at Stanford university showed four amazing things. They sifted though nearly 1500 research papers, studied behavior tendencies and only found four differences: Males are more aggressive then females, girls have better verbal skills then boys, boys have better visual spatial ability and boys have better mathematical ability from about thirteen onward. Another interesting piece of information that they discovered that on average these differences were extremely small. (Shaw, 21) Fackerell, Michael.
