To build an understanding of how communities of practice create organizational value, we suggest
thinking of a community as an engine for the development of social capital. We argue that the social
capital resident in communities of practice leads to behavioral changes, which in turn positively
influence business performance. We identify four specific performance outcomes associated with

widespread, has been followed for about a century, and is advised in major textbooks of emergency
care, general medicine, and cardiology. There remains an expectation amongst the general public
and medical practitioners that oxygensimply forms part of the standard treatment of a sick patient
(Nicholson, 2004). A review of the evolution of supplemental oxygen therapyreveals that it is not
evidence based, and there is uncertainty about the benefits and safety. This paper will discuss the
different approaches of the use of high concentration oxygen therapy for the client with acute chest
pain, including previously conducted trials. The physiological benefits and harms, the variation in
international guidelines and the need for future research will also be analysed.

underlying conditions , one of the most serious being Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI),

them to do something he knew was difficult. He did it with them. He had self sacrificed for the
team. Coach Yoast, went to tell him that he was pushing them too hard, but Boone knew exactly
what he was doing. When he stopped the running, and gave the speech about the differences and
what that had as result, I think that speech changed the attitude between the players. That speech
inspired them to want to be more, to want to grow as a group. And in the next game, after the
Capitan of the team took the first step, they finally started to be a united team.
