My classroom has 19 second grade students, including nine boys and ten girls. Three students are African American and two are Latino. The objectives are for students to recognize different types of wildlife in Africa, name countries and animals, and have a 100% success rate. The methods chosen are a QR code, poster, and storytelling video. The poster will be used to lecture on animal facts and Africa. The video is a safari trip introducing three animals. The QR code links to a wildlife website for exploration. Student participation will include referring to the example poster for their own projects. Evaluation will be through questions and discussion about the technologies used.
