The KOKEVA Osaaja project aims to provide tools to meet the needs of working life and educational organizations. It operates in the fields of business, commerce, and technology from 2008-2010 with 10 partners and 275 target people. The project produces models and materials to train workplace instructors in vocational organizations, considers the needs of students, entrepreneurship, and skills for employment. It also improves teaching methods and teachers' competencies in working life cooperation.

The OECD’s Regional Policy Network on Education and Skills aims to foster knowledge exchange in support of national growth and regional integration. The Network encourages a whole-of-government approach to formulating and implementing sound skills policies. It draws on the growing participation by Southeast Asian countries in the OECD’s education surveys and local job creation policy reviews, which provide valuable comparative data and analysis that can help countries in the region build more efficient and effective employment and skills systems.
NTTF is governed by a Board of leading Industrialists. The foundation implements its programs of technical training through its various centres located all over the country. NTTF today operates in more than 20 training centres pan India and employs over six hundred faculty members and has delivered core training programs for over 40,000 students who are readily employable and well qualified trainees. Abstract: This paper presents the experience of the integration of a social network and an open course that belongs to the OpenCourseWare of the National University of Distance Education (UNED, Spain). This experience is framed in the trend toward the improvement of the educational components in open courses design, specially monitoring and educational support. From the student's needs (in orientation and support) that were identified in an open course on "Traffic Education", a structural change was carried out in order to incorporate the Facebook’s communication applications. These tools allow one to carry out educational support to the participants.
The paper shows the project's point of view, the changes and adjustments carried out on the course as well as the main results. In this paper, the drivers and the barriers found in the process are also analyzed. Moreover, it will be discussed the potential of this type of integration in open applications uses.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace.
