The document provides guidance on building engagement in a community before, during, and after an event. It recommends starting with clear objectives and using market research to understand stakeholders' interests and needs. Data from surveys and social media can inform content design and delivery. A mapping exercise can align content, communication, and target audiences. Existing communities on social media can be leveraged and expanded. Objectives should focus on uniting the profession, raising standards, and promoting collaboration. Keeping the community engaged after the event is important for ongoing work.

What does it mean for a foundation to become a facilitative leader? And how can foundation staff make the case for network-based funding approaches to boards and other stakeholders? This two-part series will explore successes and insights from the DentaQuest Foundation’s national systems change strategy Oral Health 2020. Started in 2011, this network-based strategy has achieved notable results—development of oral health leaders across the country, creation of new state partnerships connected to a national health improvement network, and tangible system and policy changes such as the expansion of public benefits in more than 15 states. Come learn about what it took to make this work happen from the perspective of Foundation leaders Brian Souza and Mike Monopoli, initiative evaluator Clare Nolan (Harder+Company Community Research), and network weaver Marianne Hughes (Interaction Institute for Social Change).
Part 2 will dive deeper into what it took to achieve these results, including lessons learned from network building as well as what it means for a foundation to take on a facilitative leadership role.

Digital Marketers love data, perhaps too much at sometimes – this can lead to a false sense of security. When you express something as a numeric value it can lead people to believe that it’s correct or that it says more than it actually does. In this webinar I hope to cover the most misused metrics and plot a way for us to be able to use them to gain meaningful insights from them.
Decision making - the last mile of analytics & visualizationKiran Garimella
Data, Big Data, Data Science, Analytics, and Visualization are necessary competencies, but they are not sufficient. Without bridging the last mile, these competencies are like heating water to 211 degrees Fahrenheit. Not bad, but not good enough.
What's the extra 1 degree to get the water to really boil and steam? Decision-making!
You have to bridge that very last mile - bringing the result of all the data competencies to help companies decide and solve problems. You have to consider judgment under uncertainty, biases, and heuristics in decision-making.
Without that, it's just a lot of hot air!

Router 1X3 – RTL Design and VerificationIJERD Editor
Routing is the process of moving a packet of data from source to destination and enables messages
to pass from one computer to another and eventually reach the target machine. A router is a networking device
that forwards data packets between computer networks. It is connected to two or more data lines from different
networks (as opposed to a network switch, which connects data lines from one single network). This paper,
mainly emphasizes upon the study of router device, it‟s top level architecture, and how various sub-modules of
router i.e. Register, FIFO, FSM and Synchronizer are synthesized, and simulated and finally connected to its top
module.

In condominium management, PMC pays attention to not only its developers but also its residents and Board of Management. In fact, it is the residents of a condominium that are its real owners. Therefore, PMC expects that, all residents of a condominium will be actively involved in the management and decision of its any major policies through the Board of Management, which helps create true human values for its resident community as well as a distinct cultural identity and enhance the property value.

Redefining Community Leadership for an Online WorldDebra Askanase
In the age of social media, developing your own social media community is a given, but what does it mean to develop community leadership? Is it possible to share leadership with your online community? This presentation explores how organizations, and particularly schools, can foster online community leaders within social media spaces, and to what mutual benefit. The presentation includes: how to identify online leaders, what value an online leader brings to a school, how to work with online leaders, and what a strong social media community might brings to your school. The presentation also offers a basic strategy for developing and working with their online leaders, and for what purpose.

Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!
Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.
Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.
