6.2.1 Simulation matrix
There are number of metrics which are helpful for deciding the efficiency of a protocol. In this
work the parameters used to evaluate the efficiency of a protocol are the packet delivery ratio,
packet statistics in the network and the throughput of the network. The protocols AODV and
AODVBC are checked against these parameters for their performance. Packet delivery ratio of the
network is improved as the mobility with respect to the number of nodes changes. Increase in the
PDR (Packet delivery ratio is because of the less number of packet drops when AODVBC is used.
Fig. 4 justifies the better performance of AODVBC routing protocol over AODV protocol in terms
of less number of packets drop.

were no longer in a museum in Fort Tryon Park, but in the apse of a church of San Martin at

room makes one feel so small and insignificant. The high ceiling and the large, spacious room
puts a person into perspective about their size compared to the rest of the world. The high
ceiling probably seeks to bring a church connection closer to that of the heavens and thus closer
to God. Because of the large, open space in this room, sound travels with ease from one end to
another, which must have made sermons and services easily heard. The high windows, or the
clerestory, bring the room a source of light, and bring about this sense of feeling far away from the
rest of the outside world. The right wall is lined with a painting of significant trials and events in
Jesuslife. Looking deeper into the room, attention is easily drawn towards a crowned Jesus on the
cross appearing to float in front of the detailed apse along with three smaller, thinner windows.

or poetry would have been so thwarted and hindered by contrary instincts [add chains, guns, the
lash, the ownership of one s body by someone else, submission to an alien religion ], that she must
have lost her health and sanity to a certainty (Woolf qtd in Walker, 166). Walker quotes this
segment to show the effect of contrary instincts (Woolf 35), but she adds her own words to
emphasize that the hardships of black women were more significant. Thus, she implies that the

Fighting Back By Harold Werner
Fighting Back It is well known that six million Jews were killed during the Holocaust, and the
images of Jews being rounded up by the hundreds to be taken to concentration camps pervade what
we know about the Holocaust. One might assume then that there were few acts of resistance to this
inevitable fate. However, resistance took place within the ghettos throughout Europe as well as
within the concentration camps. In Poland, where anti Semitism was rampant, there were
organized movements of resistance which took place in the ghettos and in the forests outside of the
cities. Thousands of Jewscame together in what were known as partisangroups to sabotage German
military operations and help other Jews to escape from the ghettos. Harold Werner was a
member of one of these partisan groups who wrote a memoir entitled Fighting Back: a Memoir
of Jewish Resistance in WWII. He decided to write this memoir in part as a response to his
children s questions about why the Jews went like sheep to the slaughter. It was important to
Werner not just to answer his children s questioning but to highlight for the world, both Jews and
non Jews, the bravery displayed by the thousands of Jews who fought for their own lives and for
the lives of other Jews. Werner s memoir is important for this generation and those that follow to
help us understand that there were thousands of Jewish citizens who fought against the cruelty of

Introduction
The European Union Law is a set of rules, regulations and directives which creates the direct and
the indirect effects, that effect on Member States (MS) of the EU. The different sources of law
serve the existence of The EU and explain how the law apply. The primary source of law that
formed from the treaties between the members at the establishment of the union was mainly created
to bind all the states together, moreover The International Agreements between them, while
directives and regulations from the secondary source of law that should be imposed by the MS. In
The Court of Justice of The European Union (CJEU), in which Judges are the main legislative
authority in setting precedents and rules when it comes to matters like Direct Effect. Direct effect is
the concept of The EU, in which appears in the national courts of MS . Directives are the only
vertical effect, they are the instructions to MS and this grantee to individuals the right to claim
against any failing to transpose a community legislation correctly , also it provide individuals
with a valid defence to any action brought by a public authority of a domestic law. Lenz and
Jacobs stood against the idea that Directives should only be affective vertically only and they
believed that Horizontal should be allowed, because it maybe led to more coherent EU legal effect
on domestic laws .
