Impact On Law Enforcement Research Paper
Impact on video and cell phones in law Enforcement
Technological advances will continue to change the ways in which police agencies combat crime. It s
critical that these technologies are implemented correctly. New equipment, no matter how effective
will be useless, unless the operators completely understand the function, application, and procedures
of the technology.
Cameras can interfere with the interact of the nature flow of law enforcement and citizen, because its

approachable, it also add stress because the officer will always feel that someone is watching. Usually
when someone is using a camera it put other at risk because they have some individuals who are
police informant and that camera or cell phone will prevent and scare individuals from giving
important information to the police.

Ferguson Caricatures Of Austerity
Debates these battles of mental fortitude and intellectual dexterity are arguably the cornerstone of a
thriving democracy. Picture this a latino social Democrat from Los Angeles observes a flooring
critique of the distinguished saltwater economist Paul Krugman delivered by Niall Ferguson, a famous
Harvard economic historian. What he notes, aside from Ferguson s eloquence, is Ferguson s attempt to
remain intellectually honest as he discusses political polarization occurring in the modern political
system as it relates to macroeconomic realities. A palpable dearth of political distortion surfaces in
Ferguson s ideological argument as he describes both modern caricatures of austerity and caricatures
of stimulus. For those unfamiliar, austerity

Ecological Perspective
The Ecological Perspective The ecological perspective conveys the elaborate transactions between
people and their environments (Greene, 2008). In order to understand someone, one must be able to
understand the environment that he/she is a part of. Relatedness, competence, niche and habit,
goodness of fit, and power are all important concepts that contribute to the ecological perspective.
Relatedness is the capacity to form human relationships or connect with other people (Greene, 2008).
Greene (2008) proclaimed that the ability to relate and connect with other people begin with consistent
parenting. Antonio struggles in the ability to connect to others and creating relationships with his
peers. He has made one friend, Roberto, but has showed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
People and their environment are interdependent upon one another, creating a process of adaptation
that is biological, psychological, social, and cultural (Robbins, 2011). Being unable to adapt can create
a lack of fit between the person and his/her environment, where one s needs are not met in their
environment, in which this case Antonio experiences. Antonio and his environment are unable to
depend on each other, having unsuccessful transactions between them. Antonio has a supportive
environment, with Hilda nurturing him as a mother, Rainbow Services as a comprehensive agency,
and his friend Roberto to play with him. The only problem is that Antonio has not been experiencing
successful transactions with his environment entirely, but has adept to disturbed and troubled behavior.
There needs to be changes or modifications from within or externally in order to help Antonio fit
better within his environment. Goodness of fit also is a result of a family s adaptiveness or their
history of successful transactions over time (Greene,

Philosophy Is Not An Impossibility
Nowadays, philosophy is seen as a simple art where people instantly question everything. People who
practice this discipline are perceived as crazy and are not understood by the society. Noticing that this
science sub exist since the former time, it has to have a value as other science that we maybe we did
not perceive as first sight. Fortunately, Russell, one of the people who practice this science, enlightens
us on the purpose of the philosophy. By extrapolating the philosophy, the comprehension of this
science could be grasp by its origin, then its significance and finally its place in the world.
Indeed, the philosophy is not an effortless subject to grasp. It could be misunderstood by those
unfamiliar to the topic. It is apodictic ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A love could be more important that the one who love depending to the degree we put in it. However,
love mostly has a connotation which leads toward an entirely; this wholly that we can either pursue or
be with. But a question to our momentum could be who that wisdom that we could love be.
Wisdom might be defined as a knowledge that we use as discernment to know what could be good or
bad. A wisdom which come from the adjective wise is also having some experience in one particular
subject. We could notice in this simple word wisdom disclose intrinsically a lexical field of knowledge
inside or outside its being which is abstract.
In addition, love an intangible which is wisdom could not reveal from the physic, the material. This
discipline can only target what we can not see which has a relation with the mind. Thus, love of the
wisdom commonly known as philosophy which display two abstract notions, one is a strong feeling
which push us to significantly bewitch what we love with great interest, the other as a judgment or
experience derivative of the knowledge which appeared not strong but discreet and sober. This
paradox is what philosophy is: a chase of wisdom, a passion concerning the study of knowledge, a
sane thirst of apprenticeship concerning the different experience of life. Knowing its origin could not
be necessarily mean grasp what philosophy is.

Electric Hybrid Energy Storage Systems
Abstraction
The energy storage technology is quite important for electric hybrid vehicles and pure electric vehicles
due to requirement of more power and more efficient with minor compromise on weight and volume.
The challenge for developing more advanced energy storage system is capacity or energy density and
specific power cannot be achieved at the same time. More specific power means less energy density,
and vice versa. The supercapacitor Li ion hybrid energy storage system has both advantages of these
two kinds of energy storage technology. It has high energy density as well as high specific power. The
paper will introduce about this hybrid energy storage system, discuss about its advantages and
drawbacks, and compare this system with other kinds of energy storage systems.
Keywords: Supercapacitor, Lithium ion battery, hybrid energy storage system 1. Introduction
Currently, electric hybrid vehicles and pure electric vehicles attract more and more people s attention.
The benefits of electric hybrid vehicles and pure electric vehicles are less fuel cost, less emissions,
less maintenance etc. But there are still many drawbacks such as higher price, less space in electric
hybrid vehicles, require recharging everyday on plug in hybrids and pure electric vehicles, limited
mileage per recharging in pure electric vehicles etc. There are many engineering challenges along with
these drawbacks. One of them is energy storage technology. In recent electrified automotive markets,

Violent Video Games Effects On Society
Video games have been around for half a century, when the first simple tennis game was designed by
William Higinbotham in 1958. Since then, video games have gotten more in depth, and now include
the best graphics and a vast amount of options which include violent video games. Violent video
games have gotten more popular with the vast amount of variety including the franchise of Call of
Duty, Battlefield, and Grand Theft Auto. In addition, these are the most common and sought after
video games, and because of the violence in those games, debate has started whether or not violent
video games cause people especially adolescents to be more violent and destructive in society. Since
the debate has started, research has been conducted and the introduction of violent video games into
society has not resulted in violence to increase in adolescents and children. Over the years violent
video game sales have skyrocketed and there is no correlation with juvenile crime rates that suggests
that those games resulted with more violence in society. Furthermore, in a recent article from ProCon
the National Center for Education Statistics and Nicholas Lovell stated The number of high school
students who had been in at least one physical fight decreased from 43% in 1991 to 25% in 2013, and
student reports of criminal victimization at school dropped by more than half from 1995 to 2011 (1).
This demonstrates that violent video games do not result in violence, but actually resulted in violence

Financial Analysis of Merck and Pfizer
Pharmaceutical Industry The pharmaceutical industry includes companies that research, develop,
market or distribute generic and branded drugs. The industry expanded during the 1980 s and drugs to
treat heart disease and AIDS were prominent. Consumer demand for nutritional supplements and
alternative medicine increased during the 1990 s with the Internet facilitating direct purchases of
drugs. Advertising for direct consumption of pharmaceutical drugs became more prominent;
pharmaceutical companies were criticized for over medicating personality or social problems. Society
expects drug companies to improve people s well being and to behave like a nonprofit company not

Research and Development: Merck is a research driven company that has a new research and
development model incorporating its business strategy. Merck hopes to improve the success of is R D
and to reduce costs by focusing on therapeutic areas that have unmet medical needs, and scientific and
commercial opportunity. It plans to develop products within these therapeutic areas that are highly
valued by patients and doctors. Turnaround Strategy : Merck s research and development has not
always resulted in products that provide value to consumers. Vioxx was taken off the market in 2004
when people became sick and died after taking the drug. The company s reputation suffered after
allegations that Merck asked doctors to sign Merck written research studies for Vioxx. Merck disputes
the allegation, but more than 9,200 lawsuits were filed against the company. Vioxx had generated $2.5
billion in annual sales. A turnaround strategy needs to address the following: a suffered reputation, lost
patent protection on several drugs, a slowing pipeline, and a decreasing stock price. Merck is not
shying away from lawsuits and is taking cases to court. Its legal defense budget was increased, but it
did not set aside funds for liabilities showing that it confident it will win. The opinions of 200
employees were solicited in deciding the company s future strategy. Cutting costs

5.5 Limitations
Due to the limited amount of studies done on strategic budgetary system as it relates to power
infrastructure development in public sector in Nigeria, the survey used in this study was partially
based on survey instruments adapted and some generated by the researcher. A number of questions
used in the instrument were developed specifically to suite this dissertation. However, researchers
undertaking studies in strategic budgetary system in the future would benefit from survey questions
validated more specifically in the context of power sector infrastructure development. Furthermore,
the answers from respondents also need to be understood in the context of public servants giving
answers that they felt were expected rather than absolutely honest answers for fear of exposing
important personal and government secrets. Lastly, in Nigeria public sector there is dearth of data for
research. As a corollary, collection of data for this study was difficult especially in the past years
during the military regime.
5.6 Recommendations
Based on the research conducted in this dissertation, the study hereby makes the following
recommendations in line with the nine hypotheses tested:
First, the amount set aside in the development plans for infrastructure has direct relationship with the
level and quality of projects to be executed. It is recommended that proper power planning should be
made, since power

Dogs Have Strong Abilities Communicate With Other Species
Dogs have shown to have strong abilities to communicate with other species, especially humans. Ever
since dogs were domesticated close to 15,00 years ago, they have had a strong ability to communicate
and cooperate with people (Jensen et al., 2016). They re able to communicate with and understand
many human signs and words. They use things like gaze following and an ability to observe and then
act within accordance to their owner s attention (Jensen et al., 2016). Additionally, dogs have an even
more greater understanding of the human language. They use the various sounds they make, such as
barking, to communicate with humans. Through their social capabilities, dogs are able to form tight
bonds with their owners, facilitated by the mutual increase in levels of oxytocin, a neuropeptide
related to social bonding (Jensen et al., 2016). When faced with difficult problems, dogs also show
social interactions when facing problems, turning to a human for help rather than solving a problem on
their own. Through social interaction like these, dogs prove themselves to be close allies to the human
race. In order to understand these behaviors, researchers took a closer look at the genetics of both dogs
and humans. They aimed to perform a genetic analysis of behavior, but in order to perform this type of
testing, reliable and comprehensive phenotyping methods (Jensen et al., 2016). Trained observers test
the dogs and scores them on behaviors such as fear and sociality. The results

Sea Ice Has Evolved Over Time
HISTORY CONTROVERSY FROM THE PAST In order to provide context for the recent decline of
ice in the sea, it is imperative to understand how the sea ice has varied over the past two centuries. Of
particular interest, the period around 1920 1940 showed an increase in almost twice the global average
rate in past 100 years. [ ] The warming during this time can be used to compare the decline of sea ice
observed since 1979, but what will also be discussed is how this time period was also quite
controversial due to its substantial variance between the official views and views held by other people.
The reliability of the sea ice observations during the first half of the 20th century according to some

Corruption In Society
The Constitution is a plan for the government that was developed in 1789. The government s role is to
protect the people s natural rights and provide security for people. Throughout time there have been
changes in society, therefore the Constitution should have changes to fit our society. The body of the
Constitution is adequate for today s society but to help keep our rights safe and to have good security,
there should be minor changes to the Constitution. The Constitution is corrupt in today s society
because of technological advances, corrupt government officials, and the federal government has too
much power over state governments. In today s society there are corrupt government officials. For
example the basic person can t run for President. You have to have money in order to run a campaign.
So there are only rich people involved in today s politics and they only care about how they can
benefit themselves. Yates said Purposes of gratifying their own interest and ambition. This says that
people will and do abuse their power for their own purposes and don t care about the average person.
Yates also wrote to call them to account for their misconduct, or to prevent their abuse of power. This
states that it is our responsibility as citizens to prevent or call out officials on this matter. If we are not
careful then the government could change into an aristocracy. Some officials that are rich only care
about money and power so if we let them in power then they could

Stonehenge Remains One of Our Greatest Mysteries Essay
Stonehenge, a prehistoric stone circle, remains one of the world s utmost mysterious and archaic
structures. Built over 4,000 years ago in Salisbury Plain, scientists and theorists alike are still in the
dark as to why Stonehenge was built. Popular belief is that it was used for religious purposes and that
it was constructed by the Druids or even the Romans, but the theory was disproved when it was
confirmed that the beginning of Stonehenge construction started at least 2000 years before the Celts
came. I, on the other hand, believe that Stonehenge operated for scientific or astronomical reasons
such as being used as an astronomical calendar and two centuries after being built it was utilized for
its healing abilities. Over the course ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Now the monument at first was used for astrological reasons, but after two centuries the arrival of
some special rocks formed the monument into the unique and unusual structure we see today. Timothy
Darvill and Geoffrey Wainwright were the leading pair in an excavation of the inner circle of the
Stonehenge, and what they discovered in 2006 shed some new light as to what Stonehenge was used
for after the construction of the inner circle. Bluestones, the rocks that make up the inner circle, were
the special rocks they found, and they came from a site called Carn Menyn in mountainous southwest
Wales which is almost 140 miles away from Salisbury Plain. Many scientists still wonder how the
ancient people transported the rocks to their cuurent location, but the fact they moved it so far means
that it was for an important reason. The site Carn Menyn had altered springheads adorned with
prehistoric art and Darvill and Wainwright said, You get springs that have funny things done to them
in the Roman and Iron Age periods, but to see it done in the prehistoric period is rare, so we knew we
were on to something, (Jones, New Light on Stonehenge ). They could tell that since there was
prehistoric art surrounding this site, it had to mean something special to the people that used it. The
ancients believed that the bluestones at Carn Menyn had special powers so it made sense for them to

Motivation and features for Microfluidic and Lab on a chip
Lab on a chip is the main platform of Microfluidic technology. The computer chips miniaturize the
size of computer, Lab on a chip miniaturize the size of laboratory. In the past, chemists required a long
period of time and a large amount of sample or reagent to complete the analysis or synthesis.
However, using a square centimeter size chip instead of those large analysis instrument not only
reduces the consumption of resource but also shortens the experimental time. In addition, because of
these miniatures, the sewage emissions are also reduced. In other words, it is a kind of green
technology.
With the research and development of microfluidic chips, it has many unique characteristic features.
First, the chip material becomes diversified from those expensive glass and silicon materials to PDMS
(polydimethylsiloxane), PMMA (poly methyl methacrylate), PC (polycarbonate) and other polymer
materials allows a high degree of flexibility, while the cost are continually decreasing [2]. Second, the
manufacturing processes are more precision by using automatic and numerical controlled sub UV
laser to produce a smooth microchannel instead of hand based MEMS (microelectromechanical) [3].
Third, the components are highly integrated in a small chip including pumps, valves, channels,
reactors, etc. [3]. The fourth point is the precision drive technology mainly using fluid power,

Catholicism Is The Faith, Function, And Practices Of The...
Catholicism is the faith, function, and practices of the Catholic Church. The faith of the Catholicism is
the belief in God, its function is to influence the world about God, and the practices involved are to
serve in God s name and to worship God. The word catholic means universal , implying that everyone
in the world could follow the Catholic belief. Reinforcing the fact that the word catholic means
universal , many elements involved, such as one s experiences, the way the Church evolved, and
sacraments, help build the backbone to the subject of Catholicism. The experiences of people
contribute to the subject of Catholicism because it expresses that God could change the mindset and
function of everyday life, suggesting that any experience could bring people closer to God. Prior to
being a Catholic social activist, Dorothy Day lived a rather underground lifestyle and ironically had an
abortion. However, after experiencing depression, protests, failed relationships, and even suicide, she
decided to convert to Catholicism. As a result of her conversion and motivated by faith, she founded
the Catholic Worker to devote her life to the poor. Even though she helped ease the struggles of the
poor and needy, she ended up facing a lot of hardships during her lifetime as the founder of the
Catholic Worker because of her efforts, such as being jailed, suspected as a communist, and even
threatened to die. Secondly, Denis Hayes, the writer of A Ray of Hope: The Transition to a

Another limitation to this study is the possibility of low response rates and financial requirements.
Mailing surveys will get expensive and responses are not guaranteed. This limitation is addressed to
the best of the study s ability by including a large sample size and providing incentives for returned
surveys. Another major limitation of survey research designs is the reliability of self reported data.
Even though people believe they are being accurate, they may in fact not be. Essentially, we are
collecting information on their perceptions of what they believe to be accurate. (Mertler 2016).
Participants may also respond to surveys the way they think the researcher wants them to respond.
Although unavoidable when conducting survey research, researchers have an obligation to recognize
and acknowledge that respondents may be providing socially acceptable responses. (Mertler 2016).

Hiroshima Point Of View
This novel was written in a unique format in which the author, John Hersey, used third person point of
view to introduce six ordinary people who have experienced a horrendous phenomenon. The first
chapter depicts what occurred before the bomb struck. At the time, Hiroshima was conducting several
night air raid warnings which prevented any civilians from getting their sleep. There were daily
weather runs conducted by the Americans which the Japanese disregarded for they only worried over
the B 29s. Father Kiyoshi Tanimoto, minister of the Hiroshima Methodist Church, rose at five o clock
to prepare for a day s journey to Koi, a city away from Hiroshima. Father Tanimoto and a friend had to

rose from his hideout and immediately witnessed the destruction of Hiroshima. Fortunately, he met his
uninjured wife after the bomb, but their encounter was brief for their circumstances had them
departing already. Father Tanimoto later took refuge in Park Asano, and unintentionally became the
leader of all the wounded. Toshiko Sasaki remained unconscious for at least three hours, unable to
move. She scream for help until finally three men came to her rescue. He left leg was severely
wounded, and she was later stationed at a shelter with three other damaged people. Dr. Masakazu Fujii
was able to dislodge himself from the timber and, along with other doctors, nurses, and civilians,
sought shelter from underneath the bridge. On the way to the bridge, Dr. Fujii briefly noticed the huge
fire that seemed to consume the surrounding areas. Feeling that the danger has passed, Dr. Fujii
journeyed to his home and later realized his family s home has collapsed. At the same moment,
Hatsuyo Nakamura had discovered her three children were alive and well. One of her neighbor
persuaded Nakamura to take refuge at Asuna Park. The park was still intact which could be used as a
cover against any future possible attacks. While preparing for the migration, she saw Father Wilhelm
Kleinsorge wondering around bewildered. Father Kleinsorge first assisted out of dangerous
environments, dislodged several people, then decided to take shelter in Asuna Park. Before their
departure, Father Kleinsorge and other priests were forced to ignore some of the cries. Even if the
priests attempted to aid those in need, the circumstances prevented it which resulted in thousands of

Vertigo As The Archetypal Mystery
Vertigo as the Archetypal Mystery Christopher O Neil Introduction to Film Prof. Michael O Donnell
March 16th, 2015 Alfred Hitchcock s Vertigo is a classic movie of the mystery genre. The film takes
what appears to be a relatively conventional mystery plot and enacts a process whereby it proceeds to
continually fold it within itself in order to develop a film that appears to change its nature several
times, but that nonetheless continues to perpetuate a sense of mystery. Indeed, in many ways the
experience of watching Vertigo is the experience of seeing something essential about the world
unravelling; something that both applies and does not apply to the events of the film itself. This paper
will consider Vertigo as a mystery film, but will also show how the film transcends this genre, or
distils it to such an extent that even when the mystery at its centre has been resolved, it nonetheless
remains almost as unfathomable at is was at start of the film. In essence, the film not only presents the
reconciliation of a mystery within its plot but essentially dramatizes the ineffably mysterious nature of
reality itself. This paper will demonstrate this by paying attention to key scholarship around Hitchcock
and psychoanalysis. Vertigo was made in 1958, at the height of Alfred s Hitchcock s fame as director
and can be considered to be a seminal example of his film making. It was influential in terms of its use
of complex plotting and also its

My Trip At The Airport
It was a Sunday evening when my parents told us we were going on a trip. My younger brother
Charlie and I were so excited since we ve never been out of the country before. We would be gone for
only a week so I had to fit in as much as possible, I wanted to see all the history and culture this small
country offered. I did all my research on it before we left and I even taught myself common terms.
The day we left was a day I will never forget; I remember sitting at the airport shaking my leg like
crazy because I was so eager to go. Flying there felt like forever but, the moment I saw the prodigious

mud, with a giant hole in the middle. The hole was filled with water that boiled for about 10 minutes
and then erupted through the ground at nearly 40 m high. After we stood there watching it erupt
probably 3 times, we decided to go to our next stop: Þingvelli National park. It was one of the most
breathtaking places I d ever seen. There were huge black rock formations with slightly green grass
covering certain areas. Small streams ran through the whole thing. We hiked through a lot of it before
we went to the Gullfoss Waterfall. It wasn t like any other waterfall. It was a waterfall on top of
another waterfall. It stretched out far and you could see the glistening of a rainbow form on top of it.
We walked along the trail beside it getting splashed with water. I just couldn t believe my eyes. It was

Pros And Cons Of An Enrolled Agent (EA)
An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a tax professional authorized by the U.S. Government to represent
taxpayers in matters concerning the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). EAs must pass an examination
demonstrating ability or have sufficient experience as an IRS employee, as well as passing a
background check, before receiving the designation. Enrolled agents first appeared in 1884 because of
issues arising with Civil War loss claims.
EAs are not required to get a college degree. An individual with five years of taxation experience with
the IRS may apply to become an enrolled agent without taking the exam. In addition, they must
complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years. Certified public accountants and
attorneys may serve as enrolled agents without taking the exam. ... Show more content on

The Importance Of Artificial Intelligence Technology
Artificial Intelligence technology is outpacing the must needed regulation that is paramount in the
protection of humans. The need for such regulation is determined by researching current trends in
robotics, autonomous weapons, computing and more. Benefits and dangers are logically weighed
while approaching the questions posed by the author. The authors conclusions stemmed from taking
consideration to the thoughts of world leaders and influential individuals in the related fields of
technology. The research brings forth possible solutions such as regulating A.I technology and
merging man and machine. One possible solution wins in favor of the other. Introduction Artificial

of the world. Many think of a paranoid doomsday theorist pressing the issue of how he or she believes
one day artificial intelligence may destroy humanity while reading the above quote. However, such
remarks are not to be taken lightly when relayed by one of the world s most influential men and the
leader of the second most powerful military on the planet. According to the June 15, 2017, CNN

The Costing Method Is An Accounting Process
A1. Costing Method Costing Method is an accounting process that assesses itemized input costs of
production and fixed costs to determine overall costs of production. (Kucera, n.d.) Competition Bikes
is performing this analysis so management can determine the optimum sales units to breakeven from
its San Diego plant based on the current sales mix of 9 Titanium bicycles for every 5 CarbonLite
bicycles produced. Traditional costing is an easily implemented costing method that aligns with
generally accepted accounting principles, GAAP. Traditional costing is the distribution of
manufacturing overhead costs across the number of products produced based or another volume based
metric. Traditional costing is very simplistic in the fact that it doesn t allocate out any
nonmanufacturing costs. Traditional costing allocates costs to generic buckets such as direct material,
direct labor and other overhead. Activity based costing (ABC) was developed as a costing method to
overcome the weaknesses of traditional costing. ABC allocates costs to every activity, or
manufacturing task, associated in the production of an item. ABC is more accurate than traditional
costing. Competition Bikes grouped the following as tasks associated with the manufacturing of
bicycles; Factory Setups, Quality Control, Engineering Service, Product Movements, Utilities, and
Depreciation. (Johnson, n.d.) In Competition Bikes data analysis of traditional verses activity based
costing, the differences in costs is

Seat Belts
A seat belt is a restraining device installed in a vehicle to prevent or minimize the force of an injury
during a crash ( Seat Belts 5). Although it is also known as a safety belt, the safety part is the key issue
that is causing much controversy around drivers, manufacturers, and researchers alike. The main idea
around the debate is the fact that although research indicates that when seat belts are used properly
they save lives, opponents argue that mandating their use can actually cause more harm than good in
some cases and is an infringement on personal rights. Car accidents are the leading cause of death for
people ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Freedom stops when we get to a point where others may be harmed or killed. As soon as something
puts lives in danger, the right of freedom disappears thus making mandatory seatbelt laws a non
infringement on freedom.
Seat belts are the single most effective traffic safety device for preventing death and injury in a vehicle
( Seat Belt Safety, Seat Belt Laws ). Wearing a seat belt can reduce the risk of crash injuries by 50%.
Seat belts save lives and are effective in preventing ejections from a vehicle. While opponents argue
that in certain cases it is better to not wear a seatbelt, wearing a seatbelt is usually the safer route. A
person will never know what type of accident they might enter and thus can t prepare for a certain type
of accident. You can t know whether or not having a seatbelt will save you. It s better to wear a
seatbelt and have a 50% of survival than not wearing a seatbelt and have a 3% chance of being in a
situational accident where not having a seat belt will save you. Research shows that Seat Belts saved
more than 75,000 lives from 2004 to 2008 ( Seat Belt Safety, Seat Belt Laws ). Without the mandatory
use of seat belts, many lives could be put in danger and this would have negative social and economic
effects on society. 49 States in the USA have issued mandatory seat belt laws to promote safe habits
and to protect the people. With this law in place, many lives have been saved as people were forced to

How Facebook Can Generate Leads On Pinterest
How To Generate Leads On Pinterest
Do you love Pinterest but aren t sure you re using it as well as you could for your business? Feel like
you re missing something?
You just might be.
Pinterest is so much more than pretty pictures of pretty things. It s an increasingly popular,
increasingly successful platform for marketing, with some sources citing a single Pin worth 78 cents
in real world sales.
But not everyone succeeds on the platform. Pinterest has far and away the most gender targeted
audience of the top 6 social platforms. We re talking about a social site with an 80 percent female user
base. For those businesses that know how to connect on it, though, it s becoming the most exciting
platform with the most exciting opportunities ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This environment also is perfect for a lead generation contest, as 70 percent of Pinterest users use the
platform to get inspiration on what to buy (compared to 17 percent on Facebook). This creates an
environment where people actively want the things they see.
Tip #1: Ensure your Pinterest images are in portrait mode and roughly 600 pixels by 900. Compress
them to below 100 KB there are hundreds of image compressing tools online if possible.
Step by step:
On your website (or on Facebook or Twitter with a 3rd party app), create a visually appealing landing
page devoted to your contest. Create a contest in which users pin images of your products or their
favorite related images onto their own boards. Decide on a prize closely related to your business. (This
ensures leads are genuinely interested in your products, instead of simply a cash prize or random
iPad.) Email gate entry to the contest by requiring that entrants provide their email address before they
can enter to win (lead generation!). On the entry form, ask entrants to enter the URL of the Pinterest
board they re submitting. You can either choose the winner of your pin to win contest yourself or (with
a 3rd party app) open the contest to voting. Voting encourages entrants to share and promote their
pinned images (and therefore your brand) across their own social

Have you ever had a teacher asking where your homework was the day it s due? Have you ever had a

Ally s math teacher Mrs. Pierdy went around checking everyone s paper, but when she got to Ally

Essay On The Berlin Wall
On November 9, 1989; an event occurred that changed the county as a whole; the Berlin Wall fell.
This significant event represented the end of communism in Germany. The German Democratic
Republic (GDR) reunited with the Federal Republic of Germany on October 3, 1990; one year after
the Wall fell. When the Berlin Wall fell, both East and West Berlin became physically reunified. There
was no longer a wall standing in between the two sides and from here on out, two cities became one
once again. This was a physically reconnection of two sides of East and West Berlin and the beginning
of the loss of identity for those had previously lived in East Berlin (Leventhal).
Kubicek believes that due to many years that East and West Germany were divided that the people of
each side developed differently and had different values. Each side had created it s own educational
system, government and political and views. Kubicek quoted one writer, It will take us longer to tear
down the wall in our heads.... (17). This also applied to those living in East and West Berlin. East
Berliners also viewed those living in West Berlin as boastful, aggressive and insensitive (Leventhal).
They felt unwelcomed and the other half of the city felt very different to them. West Berliners viewed
their side of the city as being less safe and now too crowded and those from East Berlin were known
as the poorer people. City services were duplicated and in the East side were either closed or lost.

Mexican And Mexican Americans During The War Of Texas And...
The Unit explains the hardships many Mexican and Mexican Americans have carried and continue to
carry till this day due to their ethnicity and roots. The inequality and struggles rooted from the
invasion of Texas and the wrongful won over Mexican territory by the Euro centric American who
then expanded their border down south unjustly colonizing the Northwest of Mexico. Along with land
many Mexicans who resided in this land were now living in among a strange new government and
environment that was once their land. This began the expectation of having Mexican Americans being
able to assimilate into the Euro Centric culture. These assimilations they were presume to make
caused for many to lose touch of their own culture. Mexican Americans continued to be oppressed
even when serving their own country. Many young Mexican Americans turned to joining the military
due to financial hardships, like many due this day. Although these young men were risking their life
they were still wrongfully treated and racially discriminated while in service. Having men risking their
life for a country and still be discriminated because of their ethnicity shows how progressed the hatred
for Mexicans was developed. The recognition and triumph of many Mexican American soldiers went
unacknowledged due to their ethnicity. Mexican Americans were also labeled as criminals and
murders due to media and their portrayal of Mexicans. Also, the meaning of being called a Chicano/a

On the off chance that the heel or toe is off the ground, visual arrangement can be thrown off and the

yourself for what valid reason does putting sidesaddle work? All things considered, by keeping the
putter face square down the line and uprooting the curving of your lower arms that makes you
transparent your face amid the stroke, you keep a breakdown of the wrists and helps you to keep your
stroke in an impeccable line with your objective. By utilizing a more extended putter, another change
of the sidesaddle putting stroke would be executed. This would empower you to stand straight and just
hang over the ball, putting your weight on the foot nearest to the ball. To guarantee that the club is
secured set up, you can tuck it into your armpit as opposed to holding the club directly before you.
One of the principle issues a few golfers have when utilizing this strategy is the absence of separation
control. This will make longer putts hard to close and short putts with a great deal of break harder to

The History Of Bristol s Economy
The history of Bristol s economy has undertaken a change in similar fashion to economic capitals
across world, namely London, yet to a smaller extent (Bassett et al 2002). The transformation of the
dockland region and subsequent development from the post war period has led this paper to focus
upon the financial sector. Bristol s past follows a parallel trend of dockland manufacturing centres post
World War 2 that became involved into finance because of temporal changes. Degeneration was led
through the absence of new port proposals that fell through from the Labour government, leading to
the rise of other economic sector to facilitate growth (Hoare 1986).The research undertaken in this
paper is specified to the numerous accountancy firms scattered across the city centre (Figure 1) and
narrowed to the largest four firms: PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC Figure 2), Ernst and Young (EY
Figure 3), KPMG (Figure 4) and Deloitte (Figure 5). The change in economic geography of Bristol
can be exemplified from the expansion of these financial services to promote new functions within the
economy. Historically, the financial sector of Bristol was a result of the redundant industries of the
manufacturing sector of the ports in the 1960s. During the 1970s change was beginning to occur with
57% of Bristol s 0.5 million population employed in the financial district of some form. The
development of the office work environment was a consequence of the movement of the finance

Greek Gods And Myths

page paper but I shortened it down destroying all evidence of other gods or religious figures not based
on Christianity. So please excuse me if I sound like an atheist. For one thing, God and the Greek gods
are quite similar in how to act. For instance, God has wisdom just like Athena that they both used in
battle, times of diplomacy and to empower the people of earth. God rules over all just like Zeus and

Now we all know that God exists, but how accurate are the bible stories that describe God compared
to that of the Greek ones and their Gods. In other words, how does Christianity compare to stories,
fables, and myths? First I feel that it be best for me to take a step back to describe God in the clearest
way possible. One of God s many traits is that of his immaculate wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to
devise perfect ends and to achieve these ends by the most faultless means. In other words, God makes
no mistakes. He is the Father who truly knows best, as Paul explains in Romans 11:33: Oh, how great
are God s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand His decisions
and His ways! So how do the other Greek gods with wisdom stack up against God?
For one they are already short stacked because none of them have perfect wisdom and although they
do have wisdom it is not the immaculate wisdom that God has. For instance, Athena may have
wisdom, but she can still be bested. If I was to speak in a down to earth way it would mean

Religious, social, philosophical, and political upheaval spread throughout both Europe and the
Americas during over the course of the eighteenth century. In prominent Western nations such as
England, France, and Spain, religious tensions persisted from power struggles between Catholicism
and Protestantism throughout the 1600s. However, while governments remained entrenched in
organized religion at a state level, Enlightenment ideas emphasizing human reason brought about a

attempting a separation of church and state impossible. In the centuries leading up to the French and

France and England experienced significant religious turmoil. France, led by King Louis XV at the

The geographical proximity is misleading. The cultural gap between these two types of music is
dauntingly wide. By the time Bolden and Bechet began playing jazz, the Americanization of African
music had already begun, and with it came the Africanization of American music a synergistic process
that we will study repeatedly and at close quarters in the pages that follow. Anthropologists call this
process syncretism the blending together of cultural elements that previously existed separately. This
dynamic, so essential to the history of jazz, remains powerful even in the present day, when African
American styles of performance blend seamlessly with other musics of other cultures, European,
Asian, Latin, and, coming full circle,

The Discrimination Of African Americans
A nation with an infinitely diverse population, such as America, contains many minorities, but being a
minority in A country has set backs. Being a minority comes with stereotypes and prejudice; although
the majority faces prejudice too, it may not be as prevalent as prejudice towards the minority. Equality
in America is on the rise, but most minorities face problems that they faced years ago. African
Americans, Latinos, Asians, Native Americans, and Cajuns have struggled in different ways while
residing in the United States of America. African American people have made many strides in
American culture. They faced equality issues, enslavement, yet the culture still deals with prejudice
and discrimination. African Americans were also ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although the wealth gap between blacks and whites is still unbelievably big, African American s
income and employment rates are steadily on the rise (Desilver) . African American s tend to move up
in their same social class or completely move out of it. Even though African Americans face prejudice
and discrimination, they are not the only minority group to experience these issues. The Latino
population in the United States of America continues to rise at a steady rate, but the minority faces
extreme discrimination, for example, there are many subcultures within the Latino culture, but one
may call all Latinos in America Mexicans. The United States government even created the term
Hispanic to provide a name for a diverse population from the Spanish speaking culture (Carteret).
According to the United States Department of Justice Hispanic is a race, but the Bureau of Census
does not recognize it as a race (Carteret). Latino is how Americans from Mexico, Puerto Rico, South
America, the Dominican Republic, and Cuba identify themselves.. Although the largest population of
Latinos in America is the Mexican population (64.9%), there are about nine other cultures that have a
distinct population in America (Motel and Patten). Puerto Ricans and Cubans make up the second and
third largest Hispanic population in America. Even though all three of these countries speak Spanish,
each one has its own vocabulary and accents. Puerto Ricans pride their culture in music, whereas

Essay on Wikipedia as a Reliable Source
Wikipedia is a collaborative resource, which aims to be a compendium of all human knowledge. In a
serious examination of Wikipedia as a credible and valid source of information we need to place our
argument within a definable framework. As I will show information has many uses, for the purposes
of this paper I will examine the use of Wikipedia for scholarly research, the kind, which I will be
utilizing throughout the rest of my MBA program. I will be evaluating Wikipedia based on the
parameters set forth by Brenda Spatt. The credentials, Impartiality, style/tone, and currency of
Wikipedia will all be examined in this paper (Spatt 2011).
Its name comes from the derivatives of two words. Wiki, from the Hawaiian word Wikiwiki meaning

Proponents of Wikipedia might suggest that amateurs often make important contributions to fields
outside of their profession. Astronomers, Bird watchers and, Historians are often outshined by
discoveries made by Amateurs. However once the discovery is made it is the professionals who then
validate and confirm that information something that doesn t happen on Wikipedia. The might also
reference the unofficial policy of citing original sources as a way of validating the information.
Wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought or research (Logan, D.W. p1)
Impartiality should be an area where Wikipedia really flourishes. With so many voices contributing to
the ultimate output individual biases and cultural perspectives would be rounded over and neutralized.
One of the five pillars Wikipedians (what contributors call themselves) are expected to follow is not
sharing unpublished results or promoting their personal theories. This sounds very noble but these are
amateurs, people who by definition are passionate about a topic. If you are so passionate about a given
subject that you donate you time and knowledge how can you be impartial even if you try. All articles
in Wikipedia should be impartial in tone and content (Logan, D.W. p2)
The elephant in the room that I haven t addressed is vandalism. In this instance vandalism refers to the
act of knowingly submitting false

Roman Emperor Trajan Research Paper
Trajan is considered by many historians as one of the greatest Roman emperors. He conquered Parthia
and Dacia, expanding Rome s borders. He was also the first non Roman emperor in Rome s history.
Trajan was born in Italica, Baetica (modern day Spain) on September 15th, 53 CE, and he died on
either August 8th or August 9th, 117 CE in Selinus, Cilicia (modern day Turkey). Trajan started his
career as a legionary staff tribune in Syria, where his father was governor. After that, he became a
praetor, which qualified him for command of a legion in Spain in 89 CE. One day, he was ordered to
march his troops to Rome to help a revolt against emperor Domitian, but the revolt was suppressed by
the time he arrived. In 91 CE, Domitian allowed him ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One example of public buildings built by Trajan was Trajan s Forum. Trajan s Forum was designed by
the architect Apollodorus of Damascus. Trajan s Forum contains a four story, open air shopping mall,
the Basilica Ulpia, where laws and government matters were handled, and Trajan s Column. Trajan s
Forum was a huge architectural achievement because slaves and workers cut two hemicycles into the
Capitoline and Quirinal hills. In the holes, warehouses and shops were built, and many streets were
formed (Hammond). Another example of Trajan building public buildings is Trajan s Column. Trajan s
Column is an 126 feet tall Column that depicts the invasion and conquering of Dacia. There are
thousands of figures telling the story of the Dacian War. The figures are fighting, sailing, building, and
negotiating in all of the intricate scenes (Curry). In 117, when Trajan died, his ashes were transported
to Rome and he was buried under the column (Hammond). Another example of Trajan building public
buildings is Trajan s Market. Trajan s Market is a four story, open air shopping mall built between 107
and 110 CE. It contained the main building, a covered market, small shop fronts, and a residential
apartment building. The market was situated behind Trajan s Forum and had many functions, mostly
commercial. The bottom three levels housed many shops. The shops sold fruits, vegetables, fish, wine,
oil,

Oligarchy Vs Autocracy
The type of government that will fit on my island would be democracy, because it is a system of the
whole population of the state. I chose democracy because I would want my island to have laws similar
to the ones of the United States. The reason why I didn t choose autocracy or oligarchy is because
autocracy is a system of one government which means one person makes laws and has all the power to
control how things work on the island. Oligarchy is a system in which the groups are small and have
little little ideas for the island. The island will need large groups with leaders that will be in charge of
certain things on the island this is why I think having democracy is better than the other two. You will
have more groups to help you organize

She then had died and this was very sad. She was
shot to death and told Marius how much she loved him and gave him the
last letter of Cossette. Eponine was a character that stood as a heroic
figure in the story for what she did for Marius. She also was a very kind and
compassionate person, because she was the one who found Cossette.
Eponine had a miserable and in the end it led to a tragic ending for her life.
Another character that demonstrated a miserable was Jean
Vajean. He begins as a criminal and convict with absolutely no scruples. A kindly
prelate forgives him after a theft, and simply turns the other cheek. This act of
unexpected generosity inspires Valjean to turn his life around, and for the most
part, he succeeds in doing so. He becomes a wealthy respected philanthropist,
but doing so puts him in a conspicuous position. The merciless police officer J
Javert hounds him until his existence is discovered and he in again incarcerated.
By this time, Valjean has involved himself with a young girl and become her
father figure of sorts. He makes a daring escape from jail, and is able to hide
from the law with his daughter , Cossette. Valjean settles down for a good
while, until Cossette grows up. Valjean then decides to help fight in the
barricades. He escapes and meets Javert again and Javert sets him free again.

A Separate Peace Character Analysis
Many people have their own definition of evil. In the dictionary the definition is profoundly immoral
and malevolent. My personal definition of evil is putting your needs before others, hurting someone or
making their life miserable just so you have a better advantage to succeeding in your life. A Separate
Peace is about a boy named Gene Forrester who returns to his school called the Devon school. He
attended the school when he was young during World War II. Gene is a hardworking student who is
devoted to his studies. Finny on the other hand, is terrible at schoolwork but is a tremendous athlete.
In my point of view Gene is a ruthless evil person.
To start, Gene is an evil person because his jealously over Finny annoys him. Why? Finny is basically
a good looking guy who is good at almost anything, even getting out of trouble. Since Gene is jealous
of Finny s way of sliding pass everything, the jealousy in him has turned him evil . On page 27 it
states This time he wasn t going to get away with it. I could feel myself becoming unexpectedly
excited at that. This proves Gene was evil because best friends don t get excited and hope that your
friend gets in trouble. He may have felt this way because he was always ... Show more content on

Gene envies Finny. Gene shows this because when Finny broke the swimming school record without
any practice, Finny didn t want anyone to know. Gene took that as a sign that Finny wanted to show
off all the things he could do cause how good he was. In chapter 3 page 44 it states Was he trying to
impress me or something? Not tell anybody? When he had broken a school record without a day of
practice? I knew he was serious about it, so I didn t tell anybody. Perhaps for that reason his
accomplishment took root in my mind and grew rapidly in the darkness where I was forced to hide it.
This shows that Gene had envy towards Finny because instead of thinking good things about Finny he
thinks the worst in

Impact of Business Decisions with the collaboration of Knowledge Management in IT sector
Introduction:
In the current IT industry, Business decisions are the key factor in this global environment to run
companies (Martin, 2009). Most of these requires analysis that was done logically of the available
information. Based on the few theories, 47% of the business organizations are worsening due to the
inappropriate business decisions (Rábová Hodinka, 2011). Hence Business decisions in the IT
companies are to be made in a right path to perform well in this emerging world. Few of the
companies were still failing to take the critical business decisions which was already a raised in the
past (Hu, Almansoori, Kannan, Azarm, Wang, 2012). In order to make the effective business decisions
without any failure right in the future, there must be a process or system to share and manage the
information resources within the organization (Lin, Tsai, Wu, 2014). This process must reduce the
manpower and also improves the corporate efficiency, effectiveness, innovation and customer services
(Daniel Christopher, 2011). This issue can be rectified with the help of Knowledge Management
system.
Knowledge Management (KM) is described as a systematic process of sharing, reusing and managing
the knowledge only when it is made available and recorded (Jashapara, 2005). This helps an
organization to gain insight and understanding for own experience (Remus, 2012). Most of the KM

The Story of God with Morgan Freeman is a television documentary about the exploration of culture

award and has featured as an Oscar nominee in 1987. He has performed in other films such as Street
Smart (1987) and Driving Miss Daisy (1989). This film is only one episode of many series produced

The Christian worldview is presented as simply one choice among many. Generally speaking, every
religion is treated reasonably fairly, and every religion gets misrepresented to a certain extent. In the
film Morgan Freeman and, the producers of the film admire, and respect the worldview of the eastern
religions for instance Buddhism and Hinduism. It is evident in how much time is given to the various
religious perspectives, can definitely be discerned in the concluding summaries, and is even
sometimes apparent in Freeman s tone of voice. Even though this film was presented in class, and I do
not know much about Hinduism or Buddhism, the film shows those two religions as monolithic, with
most followers of those religions as sharing the same beliefs. This though is false. Hinduism has many
aspects to it like a mixture of pantheistic, polytheistic, and even monotheistic qualities. There are
many elements that form a Buddhist religion, and not only one concept of following it. (Yoshida

Essay on Congenital Neonatal Infections in Vertical HIV
Congenital Human Immunodeficiency Virus, also called Vertical HIV, is a serious epidemic arising
from passage of the virus to an infant from a maternal infection. The disease can have severe
symptoms for the infected newborn and is almost always fatal to the child. The fetus has a 25%
chance of infection while in utero and a 20% 50% ( depending of the country) chance of infection
during the birthing process although a cesarean birth significantly lowers the probability of neonatal
infection. The severity of the mothers HIV infection determines the chances of a fetal infection
meaning the more advance the disease in the mother the high the possibility of transmission through
placental cord blood. Infection can also occur from ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The juxtapositional co receptor attachment to the host membrane encourages the GP41 protein to
initiate fusion by collapsing into a hairpin loop structure bringing the two membranes in close
proximity. The virus then injects the contents of the virion including machinery enzymes and the RNA
genome into the host cell where a dsDNA molecule is made and integrated into the host. The reverse
transcription process has a high mutation rate because the viral reverse transcriptase enzyme is unable
to detect or repair any mistakes as it forms the dsDNA. After the new dsDNA molecule is made it is
transported to the nucleus of the host and integrated into the host genome. The HIV genome will either
remain in a lysogenic state within the host or if actively stimulated new HIV viruses will be
constructed and released to infect neighboring cells. The ability of the virus to choose its co receptor is
called viral tropism and determines its virulence and disease progression rate. If the virus binds with
the co receptor CCR5 it is called macrophage tropic (M tropic) and characterizes most HIV infections.
The M tropic variant is regarded as less virulent because it is nonsyncytial. Some mutations of the
CCR5 gene lead to a partial immunity to the virus and can slow the disease and in some cases prevent
infection of the M tropic HIV varient. Also patients with high levels of CCR5 soluble chemokines are
more resistant to the virus. The CXCR4 chemokine co receptor is

Picture this a latino social Democrat from Los Angeles observes a flooring critique of the distinguished saltwater economist Paul Krugman delivered by Niall Ferguson, a famous Harvard economic historian. What he notes, aside from Ferguson s eloquence, is Ferguson s attempt to remain intellectually honest as he discusses political polarization occurring in the modern political system as it relates to macroeconomic realities. • 6. Electric Hybrid Energy Storage Systems Abstraction The energy storage technology is quite important for electric hybrid vehicles and pure electric vehicles due to requirement of more power and more efficient with minor compromise on weight and volume. The challenge for developing more advanced energy storage system is capacity or energy density and specific power cannot be achieved at the same time. More specific power means less energy density, and vice versa. The supercapacitor Li ion hybrid energy storage system has both advantages of these two kinds of energy storage technology. It has high energy density as well as high specific power. The paper will introduce about this hybrid energy storage system, discuss about its advantages and drawbacks, and compare this system with other kinds of energy storage systems. Keywords: Supercapacitor, Lithium ion battery, hybrid energy storage system 1. Introduction Currently, electric hybrid vehicles and pure electric vehicles attract more and more people s attention. The benefits of electric hybrid vehicles and pure electric vehicles are less fuel cost, less emissions, less maintenance etc. But there are still many drawbacks such as higher price, less space in electric hybrid vehicles, require recharging everyday on plug in hybrids and pure electric vehicles, limited mileage per recharging in pure electric vehicles etc. There are many engineering challenges along with these drawbacks. Since then, video games have gotten more in depth, and now include the best graphics and a vast amount of options which include violent video games. Violent video games have gotten more popular with the vast amount of variety including the franchise of Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Grand Theft Auto. In addition, these are the most common and sought after video games, and because of the violence in those games, debate has started whether or not violent video games cause people especially adolescents to be more violent and destructive in society. Since the debate has started, research has been conducted and the introduction of violent video games into society has not resulted in violence to increase in adolescents and children. Over the years violent video game sales have skyrocketed and there is no correlation with juvenile crime rates that suggests that those games resulted with more violence in society. Furthermore, in a recent article from ProCon the National Center for Education Statistics and Nicholas Lovell stated The number of high school students who had been in at least one physical fight decreased from 43% in 1991 to 25% in 2013, and student reports of criminal victimization at school dropped by more than half from 1995 to 2011 (1). • 10. Dogs Have Strong Abilities Communicate With Other Species Dogs have shown to have strong abilities to communicate with other species, especially humans. Ever since dogs were domesticated close to 15,00 years ago, they have had a strong ability to communicate and cooperate with people (Jensen et al., 2016). They re able to communicate with and understand many human signs and words. They use things like gaze following and an ability to observe and then act within accordance to their owner s attention (Jensen et al., 2016). Additionally, dogs have an even more greater understanding of the human language. They use the various sounds they make, such as barking, to communicate with humans. Through their social capabilities, dogs are able to form tight bonds with their owners, facilitated by the mutual increase in levels of oxytocin, a neuropeptide related to social bonding (Jensen et al., 2016). When faced with difficult problems, dogs also show social interactions when facing problems, turning to a human for help rather than solving a problem on their own. Through social interaction like these, dogs prove themselves to be close allies to the human race. In order to understand these behaviors, researchers took a closer look at the genetics of both dogs and humans. They aimed to perform a genetic analysis of behavior, but in order to perform this type of testing, reliable and comprehensive phenotyping methods (Jensen et al., 2016). • 12. Corruption In Society The Constitution is a plan for the government that was developed in 1789. The government s role is to protect the people s natural rights and provide security for people. Throughout time there have been changes in society, therefore the Constitution should have changes to fit our society. The body of the Constitution is adequate for today s society but to help keep our rights safe and to have good security, there should be minor changes to the Constitution. The Constitution is corrupt in today s society because of technological advances, corrupt government officials, and the federal government has too much power over state governments. In today s society there are corrupt government officials. For example the basic person can t run for President. You have to have money in order to run a campaign. So there are only rich people involved in today s politics and they only care about how they can benefit themselves. Yates said Purposes of gratifying their own interest and ambition. This says that people will and do abuse their power for their own purposes and don t care about the average person. Yates also wrote to call them to account for their misconduct, or to prevent their abuse of power. This states that it is our responsibility as citizens to prevent or call out officials on this matter. If we are not careful then the government could change into an aristocracy. Timothy Darvill and Geoffrey Wainwright were the leading pair in an excavation of the inner circle of the Stonehenge, and what they discovered in 2006 shed some new light as to what Stonehenge was used for after the construction of the inner circle. Bluestones, the rocks that make up the inner circle, were the special rocks they found, and they came from a site called Carn Menyn in mountainous southwest Wales which is almost 140 miles away from Salisbury Plain. Many scientists still wonder how the ancient people transported the rocks to their cuurent location, but the fact they moved it so far means that it was for an important reason. The site Carn Menyn had altered springheads adorned with prehistoric art and Darvill and Wainwright said, You get springs that have funny things done to them in the Roman and Iron Age periods, but to see it done in the prehistoric period is rare, so we knew we were on to something, (Jones, New Light on Stonehenge ). The faith of the Catholicism is the belief in God, its function is to influence the world about God, and the practices involved are to serve in God s name and to worship God. The word catholic means universal , implying that everyone in the world could follow the Catholic belief. Reinforcing the fact that the word catholic means universal , many elements involved, such as one s experiences, the way the Church evolved, and sacraments, help build the backbone to the subject of Catholicism. The experiences of people contribute to the subject of Catholicism because it expresses that God could change the mindset and function of everyday life, suggesting that any experience could bring people closer to God. Prior to being a Catholic social activist, Dorothy Day lived a rather underground lifestyle and ironically had an abortion. However, after experiencing depression, protests, failed relationships, and even suicide, she decided to convert to Catholicism. As a result of her conversion and motivated by faith, she founded the Catholic Worker to devote her life to the poor. Even though she helped ease the struggles of the poor and needy, she ended up facing a lot of hardships during her lifetime as the founder of the Catholic Worker because of her efforts, such as being jailed, suspected as a communist, and even threatened to die. Hiroshima Point Of View This novel was written in a unique format in which the author, John Hersey, used third person point of view to introduce six ordinary people who have experienced a horrendous phenomenon. • 22. Vertigo As The Archetypal Mystery Vertigo as the Archetypal Mystery Christopher O Neil Introduction to Film Prof. Michael O Donnell March 16th, 2015 Alfred Hitchcock s Vertigo is a classic movie of the mystery genre. The film takes what appears to be a relatively conventional mystery plot and enacts a process whereby it proceeds to continually fold it within itself in order to develop a film that appears to change its nature several times, but that nonetheless continues to perpetuate a sense of mystery. Indeed, in many ways the experience of watching Vertigo is the experience of seeing something essential about the world unravelling; something that both applies and does not apply to the events of the film itself. This paper will consider Vertigo as a mystery film, but will also show how the film transcends this genre, or distils it to such an extent that even when the mystery at its centre has been resolved, it nonetheless remains almost as unfathomable at is was at start of the film. In essence, the film not only presents the reconciliation of a mystery within its plot but essentially dramatizes the ineffably mysterious nature of reality itself. This paper will demonstrate this by paying attention to key scholarship around Hitchcock and psychoanalysis. Vertigo was made in 1958, at the height of Alfred s Hitchcock s fame as director and can be considered to be a seminal example of his film making. It was influential in terms of its use of complex plotting and also its ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The transformation of the dockland region and subsequent development from the post war period has led this paper to focus upon the financial sector. Bristol s past follows a parallel trend of dockland manufacturing centres post World War 2 that became involved into finance because of temporal changes. Degeneration was led through the absence of new port proposals that fell through from the Labour government, leading to the rise of other economic sector to facilitate growth (Hoare 1986).The research undertaken in this paper is specified to the numerous accountancy firms scattered across the city centre (Figure 1) and narrowed to the largest four firms: PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC Figure 2), Ernst and Young (EY Figure 3), KPMG (Figure 4) and Deloitte (Figure 5). One of God s many traits is that of his immaculate wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to devise perfect ends and to achieve these ends by the most faultless means. In other words, God makes no mistakes. He is the Father who truly knows best, as Paul explains in Romans 11:33: Oh, how great are God s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand His decisions and His ways! So how do the other Greek gods with wisdom stack up against God? Inka Empire Dbq Genghis Khan, a man who conquered and ruled the largest continuous empire in history of mankind, was once told Conquering the world on horseback is easy; it is dismounting and governing that is hard. Many kings and warriors were able to conquer vast lands in history but only a few were able to hold that power for a long period of times. The ones who implemented successful strategies in order to expand, consolidate and administer their rule over land were the most successful in holding power. Aztec empire is a perfect example of this. In prominent Western nations such as England, France, and Spain, religious tensions persisted from power struggles between Catholicism and Protestantism throughout the 1600s. However, while governments remained entrenched in organized religion at a state level, Enlightenment ideas emphasizing human reason brought about a new epistemological ideology, called deism (Duiker, 463). Despite the influence of Enlightenment throughout the Western world during the French and Indian War, France and England s government level worldviews remained decidedly theistic. Because of this, the Treaty of Paris, which detailed the terms of truce at the end of the war in 1763, remains untouched by deistic, humanistic influences. With centuries long traditions entrenched in either Protestant or Catholic theologies, leaders of both nations either possessed no desire to break the status quo or found attempting a separation of church and state impossible. In the centuries leading up to the French and Indian War, which is the official name for the North American front of the Severn Years War, both France and England experienced significant religious turmoil. France, led by King Louis XV at the treaty s signing, maintained a heavily Catholic tradition since King Henry IV signed the Edict of Nantes in 1598. As for England under King George III, the official Church of England followed protestant theology (Duiker, 390 391). Most of these requires analysis that was done logically of the available information. Based on the few theories, 47% of the business organizations are worsening due to the inappropriate business decisions (Rábová Hodinka, 2011). The juxtapositional co receptor attachment to the host membrane encourages the GP41 protein to initiate fusion by collapsing into a hairpin loop structure bringing the two membranes in close proximity. The virus then injects the contents of the virion including machinery enzymes and the RNA genome into the host cell where a dsDNA molecule is made and integrated into the host. The reverse transcription process has a high mutation rate because the viral reverse transcriptase enzyme is unable to detect or repair any mistakes as it forms the dsDNA. After the new dsDNA molecule is made it is transported to the nucleus of the host and integrated into the host genome. The HIV genome will either remain in a lysogenic state within the host or if actively stimulated new HIV viruses will be constructed and released to infect neighboring cells. The ability of the virus to choose its co receptor is called viral tropism and determines its virulence and disease progression rate. If the virus binds with the co receptor CCR5 it is called macrophage tropic (M tropic) and characterizes most HIV infections. The M tropic variant is regarded as less virulent because it is nonsyncytial. Some mutations of the CCR5 gene lead to a partial immunity to the virus and can slow the disease and in some cases prevent infection of the M tropic HIV varient.
