Using UHPC in the construction of new bridges and the renewal of existing highway bridge network
can minimize maintenance requirement in the construction of new long life bridges resulting in low

An Eco modernist manifesto states that we need a good Anthropocene, which demands that humans
use their growing social, economic, and technological powers to make life better for people, stabilize
the climate, and protect the natural world (Page 7). In order to protect the natural world, we should
stay away from nature and give more land back to the nature world, instead of letting human society
goes along with nature in harmony. The new technologies would allow us to achieve much more from
a limited amount of land. Thus, humans have the opportunity to re wild and re green the Earth (Page
14) and will achieve a great Anthropocene.
I also deeply love and emotionally connected to the natural world, and I really hope what the
manifesto proposed could come true. I agree that by using new technologies, we can make what
impossible become possible, we can be more efficient, and we can allowing more room for non human
species (Page 18). However, I doubt that would happen, though I believe it could. First, it s not easy to

Social Penetration Theory The Social Penetration Theory proposes the idea that as our relationships
develop, communication goes from being very basic and superficial, to being more intimate and
fulfilling. There are five stages in the theory, the first being the Orientation stage, which usually means

Difference Between Alland And Alice In Wonderland
After reading Alice s Adventures in Wonderland and then watching the Disney movie Alice in
Wonderland, I found that there were a couple of main plot differences. A main plot difference was that
the poem the Caterpillar asked Alice to Recite was different in the book than it was in the movie. In
the movie, Alice recited a poem titled How Doth the Little Crocodile, and in the book she recites the
poem titled You Are Old, Father William. The Caterpillar is also portrayed much meaner throughout
the movie compared to the book. At the end of the book, Alice woke up her sister and told her about
the dreams that she had. It turned out that the sister also dreamt something very similar. In the movie
though, Alice had woken up her parents. I feel that the meaning between the two different poems that
are read aloud by Alice are very different. One being more a story to follow and the other being a short
riddle to solve. Each of them are important, but in a movie context, I feel that the short riddle is a little
easier to follow. Wonderland is not supposed to make much sense, so if the riddle confuses the viewer,
they are able to think that it is just another silly part of Wonderland. The Caterpillar was not the nicest
character to Alice throughout the book, but after watching the movie I realized that that was probably
the nicest the author could have made him. The movie producers had him be awfully mean to Alice. I

II. LITERATURE SURVEY
Review of literature on speech recognition systems authentically demands consideration towards the
finding of Alexander Graham Bell regarding the method of converting sound waves into electrical
impulses and the first speech recognition system developed by Davis et al. [6] for finding telephone
superiority digits spoken at normal speech rate. This attempt for automatic speech recognition was
mainly centered on the edifice of an electronic circuit for discovering ten digits of telephone
superiority. Spoken words were examined to obtain a 2 D plot of formant 1 vs. formant 2. A circuit is
developed for finding the greatest correlation coefficient among a set of novel incoming data for
pattern matching. These features are grouped into feature vectors that serve the purpose of reducing
dimensionality and redundancy in the input to the speaker recognition system. An indication circuit
was created to exhibit the already discovered spoken digit. The proposed approach lays stress on
recognizing speech sounds and providing appropriate labels to these sounds. Various approaches and
types of speech recognition systems came into existence in last five decades gradually. This evolution
has led to a remarkable impact on the development of speech recognition systems for various
languages worldwide. The exact nature of the feature set depends on what part of a speech signal the

In Smith s Wealth of Nations, he argues the existence of a natural order. Unless there is some other
human entity messing with that natural order, in the long run commodities will have a certain natural

Most would say that during this time Chicago cleaned up its streets and act as a whole. While this is
true, it did not stop Chicago from slumping back into old habits, losing more jobs, and forming a more
