Rawls Theory Of Justice
Fundamentally, Rawls aims to present a conception of justice that serves the social
contract theory more generally and abstractly than such social contract theories provided
by Locke, Rousseau, and Kant. In contrast to Locke, Rousseau, and Kant, Rawls
conception of justice does not provide a specific layout for the intricacies and structure
of each social institution. His abstract concept of justness, however, provides the
foundation from which a just institution must derive. Within Rawls theory of justice, he
presents the theory of justice as fairness which aims to establish a just arrangement of
the social, economic, and political facets of a liberal society. Rawls states that in order to
create a fair society, the citizens should come to a mutual agreement of a sufficient
concept of justice, which would only be feasible in the hypothetical situation of an
Original Position. Within the Original Position, no social order would exist. Each
person would exist without bias or knowledge of their own or anyone else s social
circumstances, whether regarding intellect, physical strength, relationships, class, or the
like. The people would be capable of forming a conception of the good as well as
developing the capacity to develop a sense of justice. Additionally, all persons are to be
rational and mutually disinterested so that no one aims to benefit or disadvantage
another person. In wanting to advance his own interests in the circumstance of facing
choice, one would choose
Learning Style Inventory ( Lsi )
Learning Style is a Term that has been of interest in the past few decades in the field of
Organizational Behavior. It refers to the way individuals perceive to acquire new skills,
knowledge, or education. Scholars of organizational behavior owe David Kolb who is
the leading pioneer for the introduction of such term due to his work since 1970`s.
David Kolb, a Professor of Organizational Behavior at Case Western Reserve University
in Cleveland in the US, established an Experimental theory based on a 17 years search
study to develop and enhance the abilities of educators using the Learning Style Inventory
(LSI). Coffieldand et al (2004).His aim was to improve traditional teaching for
management students in perceiving new learned topics. He ... Show more content on

xCoffieldand et al mentioned that the authors were keen to emphasize (2000, 43) that no
single style has an overwhelming advantage over any other. Each has strengths and
weaknesses but the strengths may be especially important in one situation, but not in
another.
Several scholars disagreed with the idea; that each individual has a unique learning style.
They critiqued the work of Kolb, Honey and Mumford, and others who followed on the
road of searching for improving and classifying educators in to learning categories. They
insisted that naming individual according to learning style prevent them from adapting to
new ways of learning.
In this paper I used Honey and Mumford questionnaire to determine a suitable
development program for a candidate. The candidate will answer the Learning style
questionnaire (attached in appendix) as honestly as possible, his educational background
and past experience should be taken into consideration in the development program.

The Creation Of The Great White Fleet And Its Effect On...

American History II

The Creation of the Great White Fleet and its Effect on World Affairs Theodore
Roosevelt was renowned for his foreign policy that stated: speak softly and carry a big
stick. This meant that Roosevelt handled foreign affairs with a tranquil state of mind,
but also threatened with the military if things did not go as planned. Roosevelt utilized
this ideology to navigate America in the right direction. The Great White Fleet abided
by this policy, specifically. From 1907 to 1909, the fleet sailed the seas and made
history. Not only did this publicity stunt grant America the respect Roosevelt had hoped
for, but it also altered world affairs significantly.
The beginnings of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If the cruise was a success, Roosevelt believed that this endeavor would provide the
United States with a prime example of a powerful and well trained navy, but he also
thought the good outcome of the event would allow him to expand the fleet with four
complimentary ships. This would allow for more exploration and time overseas to invest
ourselves in the affairs of foreign countries. Though the intent to prove America s worth
was strong, there were several other underlying concepts as well.
The need to acquire more experience was imperative and it would strengthen the naval
forces for any future battles. The various legs of the journey allowed the naval crew to
gain the practice they needed to strengthen their expertise; however, the length of the
deployment made some shudder with uncertainty. Unfortunately, several obstacles
were faced during the plight to gain naval experience. The great length that the fleet
would have to travel would call for several stops in order to satisfy the need for coal
(consumption of coal was also an area the naval crew needed to brush up on) and
docking facilities. There were also issues for the ships that flew the American flag.
Roosevelt intervened with supply contracts, but a vast majority of carriers did not
comply with this offer because they were incapable of acquiring the proper amount of
cargo to pay for the trip back. Nevertheless, the
Assassin s Creed Historically Accurate
Video games can be very helpful in school. Although they have a reputation for being
brainwashing and distracting, they actually teach the players more than you think.
Contrary to popular belief, video games are educational and should be included in
schools and other forms of education.
As a matter of fact, video games can actually be historically accurate. The Assassin s
Creed franchise takes you all over the world and allows you to play as an assassin that
knows parkour and uses that ability to quietly kill his targets. Assassin s Creed is a
very historically accurate. When you play the Assassin s Creed Campaign Mode there
are certain missions or objectives that you have to do. These objectives include killing
certain people. Those people can either symbolize a historical figure or be a historical
figure. The way you kill that person and where they die is the same way they were

Armenian Genocide Classification
What is the Armenian genocide? The Armenian genocide was the Ottoman government
s systematic killing of Armenians, which took place during World War I, beginning in
1915. A genocide, which has occurred since ancient times, is the deliberate killing of a
large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation. During
World War I, the Turkish nationalist government killed an estimate of 1.1 to 1.8 million
Armeniansin Eastern Turkey. The Ottoman s took power in the Armenian genocide
through classification, preparation, extermination, and denial. The Ottoman s took power
in the Armenian genocide through classification. All cultures have categories to
distinguish people into us and them which shows the social differences between the
majority and minority groups. This division occurs because of differences in ethnicity,
race, religion, nationality, culture, or language and serves to drive the us versus them
mentality needed to progress further along in the stages of genocide. Bipolar societies
that lack mixed categories, are most likely to have a genocide, which is considered to be
classification. The classification that happened during the Armenian genocide was that
the Turks were Muslim and Armenians were Christians, Muslims dominated society and
Armenians were viewed as unfaithful to Allah. In the preparation stage, victims were
identified and then separated, death lists were drawn up and the victims were forced to
wear identifying symbols.

begins with a division of human properties into three categories. Natural properties are

structures definitive of the species. Other propertiesare unnatural, in that they result from
abnormal structures. And some properties are nonnatural (or social) in that they represent

development of originality in women which is possible to men. When that time comes .

Note that Mill speaks of the quot;free quot; development of women. In the history of
philosophy a social doctrine has usually been attached to those ontological and
epistemological theses, the doctrine that persons are free (or have freedom) to the extent
that they are not constrained, either in their behavior or in their development, by social
influences. The liberal doctrine of quot;equal maximal liberty, quot; then, is both a
methodological rule for the discovery of the natural as well as a political principle
limiting one sort of social influence. Mill elaborates and defends the political doctrine in
On Liberty and employs it in The Subjection of Women, which also contains the
epistemology. Another statement of the corollary from the latter work more clearly
connects the discovery of the natural with freedom: quot;no one can safely pronounce
that if women s nature were left to choose its direction as freely as men s, and
Connection To Australian Communities
Jesse Sheals, Parklands High School TAS.
Bring the community connection back to life. In every town, in every city from the West
Coast of Tasmania to Arnhem in the Northern Territory. Every Australian is part of many
broad communities. But why would I write about bringing the Australian community
back to life you may ask. Here is my answer, I grew up in a small town on the West
Coast of Tasmania, our community was strong, our community was fun, nevertheless, we
always had something to do around the town, but now that community and many other
communities have slowly died with major need of revival for Australia s youth and
families across our pristine country.
Our communities need a shakeup to give our local youth and families the best chance in
life. Currently, the communities have lost contact with the people causing fewer
opportunities within local areas and leaving Australia s youth jaded with few options to
make the utmost of their childhood. I believe it is important for communities to be in

community engagement. If a special committee of locals could come together to
reconnect our communities, we would be able to address our concerns and recommend
to the committee that our community is lacking in events for our youth around
Australian cities and towns. As the committee gains knowledge about the problems
within our community they would be able to use the advice accordingly to work closely
with local governments, schools, and corporations to share the community s vision so
they can create more opportunities while providing support, commitment, and focus on

B 17 and B 24 in World War II The model B 17 and B 24 airplanes are widely known as
the most iconic American bomber planes that were used in World War II. The
airplanes were manufactured by separate companies, and both produced over a ten
year period with several thousands of each manufactured. Without the introduction of
these airplanes, the aerial combat of World War II would have changed drastically and
could potentially have changed the outcome of the war. The B 17 was manufactured
by Boeing in 1935, with the original prototype called the Model 299. This airplane was
the sole focus of the company during this point in time due to the USAAC (US Army
Air Corps) calling for proposals of airplane designs be sent to them, the most promising
company would receive a contract for 220 planes. On October 30,... Show more content

With newer and better technology coming out, the company planned on changing the
specifications to make a more modern airplane that later became known as the B 24.
The B 24 made some improvements including; higher top speed, heavier bomb load
and other slight upgrades. (Aviation history B 24) While there were several
improvements it had one flaw that made it more of a sitting target than the B 17; the
max ceiling it could operate at was around four to seven thousand less (depending on
model) making the B 24 more susceptible to flak guns. Even with this flaw the USAAC
ordered more B 24 s, so much so that the rest of the work had to be divided between
Ford, Douglas and North American. (Military history) Over eighteen thousand were
made between the four manufactures. The B 24 was later given the name Liberator
after the British ordered them for their Royal Air Force. Though the B 24 was created in
mind of updating the B 17, the upgrades were close enough to the newer versions of the
B 17 that it became more common to see them flying together in missions rather than

Iphone vs Android Systems Essay
Galaxy S5 vs.Iphone 5s
When people are deciding to buy a smart phone a lot of questions are raised in their
head before choosing one. Should I get an Android or an Iphone? How much do I want
to spend on a smart phone? Which phone has features that are beneficial to me? What
specifications does each phone have? Some people would say Iphones are better than
Androids, while others say that Androids are better than Iphones. When looking at a
Galaxy S5 and the Iphone 5s there are major differences between them. One major
factor when deciding to purchase a smart phone is the price of the smart phone. A

The resolution of the Iphone 5s is 640 x 1136 pixels. However, the Galaxy S5 has
better resolution since it has 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Iphone 5s has a pixel density of
326 ppi. However, the Galaxy S5 has a pixel density of 432 ppi which means it can fit
more pixels on the screen than the Iphone 5s screen. One benefit that the touch screen
of the Galaxy S5 has over the Iphone 5s is its multi touch screen. The multi touch
screen on the Galaxy S5 allows the user to be able to touch the touch screen in more
than location simultaneously. One feature of the display specification of the Galaxy
S5 has that the Iphone 5s does not have is the scratch resistant glass .That means users
who have the Galaxy S5 won t have worry about getting scratches on the screen of their
phones. However, Iphone 5s users will have to be careful with their phones if they do
not want their phones to get scratches. The camera is a major specification for people
who are concerned with taking nice photos. The Iphone 5s has 1.2 megapixels in the
front facing camera. The Galaxy S5 has 2.1 megapixels. Since The Galaxy S5 has more
megapixels than the Iphone 5s, that means the pictures taken by Galaxy S5 are going to
look sharper than the pictures taken by the Iphone 5s. The camera is one of the major

Maximizing value does not mean that a firm has to be illegal and social outlaw.
1.4 GENERAL GOODNESS OF SOCIETY
According to Bratton and Wachter (2013) found that Shareholder value maximization is
broadly associated with social welfare maximization. Those who make the relationship
tend to go on to state that management agency costs are extreme and that increased
shareholder power would reduce the costs. Reduced agency costs by definition enhance
shareholder value, which in turn is assumed to imply social welfare enhancement.
Bratton and Wachter (2013) also found that the shareholder interest, as the outstanding
right on corporate wealth, is straight aligned with society s interest in maximizing
corporate and therefore societal wealth, and so the shareholder interest succeeds for
political attentiveness. In current years, the mission for political attentiveness has made
the jump from theory to practice: a shareholder class is said to have risen in our
political economy as a side shoot of the growth of stock ownership among the middle
class. Therefore, real world shareholders again are seen to bear on social welfare.
In a same concept, according to Dolenc, stubelj and LaporЕЎek (2013) value
maximization within a company can result to social welfare maximization. Social
welfare is created when a firm produces outputs that are valued by its customers at more
than is the value of inputs for their production. As long as the firm is capable of selling

Effects Of Teacher Stress On Middle School Students...
The effects of teacher stress on middle school students behavior and performance.
Teaching is a highly stressful occupation, particularly in a middle school environment.
Middle school is a difficult level to teach. For students it is a time of adolescents and
many changes occur developmentally and socially. The stress level of teachers affects
their effectiveness in instruction, teacher student interaction, and classroom management.
The articles that will be discussed in this research paper will examine the effects of the
key issues of teacher stress on middle school student s behavior and performance in the
classroom. If the teacher is stressed, their behavior will be different with students, and
they will perform differently with students. ( Job stress in teachers, 2011).
In the research article by Science Daily (2011) two issues were addressed for the study.
First teacher stress levels in a middle school setting. Second how the stress of a teacher
affects their students behavior and performance in the classroom. The focus of Teresa
Mclyntyre, a research professor, is to detect predictors and effects of job stress in middle
school teachers, and connecting teacher stress to student behavior and achievement
through teacher success. Middle school is one of the most difficult grade levels to
instruct because of the student teach interaction. The interactions are more difficult at
this time because the students are going through a period of adolescents and many
changes
The Islamic Insurgency Of Afghanistan
Mullah Akhtar Mansour and the Rising Threat of Islamic Insurgency in Afghanistan
War and conflict have raged in Southeast and Central Asia for centuries due to civil unrest
and political instability. The rise of the Taliban and other militant insurgencies have
escalated the dangers and unpredictability of an already unstable government in
Afghanistan. The appointment of the new Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour could
result in a dangerous liaison with ISIS. The agenda of these jihadist extremists is the take
over the Afghan and Pakistan governments in favor of the more stringent Islamic ways of
the Taliban. These groups, professing to do the work of God, are perpetrating a coarse
and distorted interpretation of Islam and the Quran. Insurgents have committed violent
acts including the killing of police, military personnel, assassinations of political figures,
and suicide bombings (Ghufran, 2009, pg 44). Due to the dangerous capabilities of the
Taliban combining with the organizational competence of ISIS, the United States
coalition forces must be cautious about leaving too quickly from Afghanistan, which will
also affect Pakistan.
The Birth of the Taliban
The Taliban emerged in 1994 from a group of guerilla type Muslim Mujahidin that had
fought in the Afghan and Soviet war and were dissatisfied and disillusioned with their
current leadership. The Mujahidin s purpose is to perform jihad, meaning to struggle,
strive, or persevere in doing God s will (Wikipedia, 2015).

Philosophers regularly read the Summa Theologiae, and his commentaries on the works

And The Imporatance In The Gambler, By Fyodor
Dostoyevsky
The Gambler and the imporatance of distinct charachters in novels
No one can deny that the psychological novel displays to the greatest extent how a
variety of different characters is important for an enjoyable read. Such is the emphasis
on the internal events and the inner mental life of its characters, that this type of the
novel is probably one of a kind in which characterization is more prominent than in all
other literary genres. First examples originate from earlier epochs, but only a few could
argue whether one of the greatest representatives of this genre was a Russian writer
Fyodor Dostoyevsky or not. Though he is best known for his other novels, Crime and
Punishment, The Idiot, The Possessed and The Brothers Karamazov, this text offers a
take on characters of his fascinating short novel The Gambler which was written in
1866. Two topics are woven within the zealously intricated storyline. The one is
desperate longing for a distant woman and the another one is a passion for gambling that
Dostoyevsky himself at the time was struggling with. At the same time, the novel was
inspired by the topic ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Importance Of Good And Evil In The Novel Always...
With an angel and devil on the top of your shoulders whispering into your ear, who do
you listen to the most? Of course, we try to listen to the angel and try to do good but in
some cases, the little devil will overpower and make you do something evil. In the book
Always Outnumbered, Always Outgunned by Walter Mosley, the main character,
Socrates Fortlow, is put in a position of good and evil when he then ended up in prisonfor
double murder and rape. Socrates was incarcerated for 27 years and lived a hard
prison sentence but once he got out the devil stayed and the angel got out with him as
he tries to help others and better himself. Just because Socrates is trying to help others
doesn t necessarily mean he s a better man now. He still needs to better himself before
helping others. He has the mentality of a monster but a heart of a greatness and
helpfulness. Being in prison didn t give Socrates any opportunities to grow as a
person because he couldn t, he had to find a way to survive the prison life. Once he
got out he still had the prison mentality but tries to put it under control. He knows he
has to do good to balance out the wrong he did in his life. That s when Socrates started
to mentor an eleven year old boy name Darryl, who has accidentally killed another boy.
When they first met Darryl had killed Socrates friend Billy the rooster. Socrates told
Darryl why you kill my friend? but he heard the fear in the boy s voice when responding
that he didn t kill anybody.
The Importance Of Gender Pronouns
Introduce the issue
Gender pronouns are an ever growing issue in our world, developing into an
exceptionally hot
topic in today s society. There are some citizens out there who prefer the use of non
binary pronouns
such as they/their instead of him/her, because they feel as though their gender should not
be assumed.
Even though some people may not agree with banning gender pronouns, it would protect
transgender
and other non binary people from discrimination, expand the possibilities for gender
identity and
expression, and reduce the impact that gender has on our educational system.
Explain why it is compelling to you
Gender pronouns make me curious because most humans do not have to worry about
harassment due to their gender or how they portray themselves. This is bothersome to me
because we
are all human beings and in my opinion, deserve the same rights as everyone else. There
are many
obstacles that trans and non binary people have to face, such as harassment,
discrimination, and they
may not get the same opportunities within the job market or colleges because of their
personal gender
choices. A national Transgender Discrimination Survey showed that 26% of trans people
lost their jobs
due to bias, 50% were harassed on the job, 20% were evicted or denied housing, and 78%
of trans
students were harassed or assaulted (Transequality.org. 2017.) From the web article Non
Discrimination Laws they state,

The leaves crunched and tattered beneath my feet, and the comfort of the cave walls

the very branch I was standing on down, I was lucky to not have been hit with the
bullet. But I was very, very unlucky getting caught. I felt the cold, harsh grasp of the
metal shackles hug my wrists. The warm hunter s hand pressed on my small back, and I
was forced forward. The other hand had hold of the shackle s chain. Everything I
promised... Everything I hoped for, I felt it melt away into all but a sad dream as I was
pushed the other way. I knew what was coming; a welcome back home ... for
Juvenile Runaway Diary
On 9/25/2016, I, Officer Hunter was dispatched to 5701 Suffolk Dr in reference to a
juvenile runaway. Upon arrival I spoke with Raphael Walen. Walden said that his 16
year old nephew, Swadrian Lewis, who currently resides with him, left his residence
on Friday 9/23/16 at approximately 9:00 pm. Walden said he has been unable to
contact or locate Lewis since that time. Walden told me that Lewis has friends at 1890
Courtney Dr and 5605 Prince George St in the Cambridge Square subdivision. Walden
has been unsuccessful at locating Lewis at either residence. Walden added that on
previous occasions when Lewis left home, he was able to locate him at one of those
addresses. I also attempted to make contact with Lewis at 1890 courtney at approximately
The Hobbit Comparison
J.R.R. Tolkien is a writing superhero who has created a vast world that can be
compared and contrasted. One interesting fact about J.R.R. Tolkien is that he knew at
least 20 languages and made many of his own. Knowing and making many languages is
what really solidified his way of writing, by doing so he created multiple languages that
are used in both The Hobbitand Lord of the Rings. To understand the differences
between Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit is necessary to take a closer look at the
theme, plot, and characters. By comparing The Hobbit to Lord of the Rings, it
becomes clear that these two books share a the same timeline. Both stories take place
in Middle Earth during the Third Age. Rivendell and The Shire are the only places that
appear in both the books. They share a similar theme, self development. Many
characters appear in the The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, some of them include Bilbo
Baggins who is the main protagonist of The Hobbit, Gandalf who is part of both Thorin
and Company... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In The Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins is hired as a burglar for Thorin and Company to help
with their quest to take back Erebor. In Lord of the Rings Frodo Baggins (Bilbo s
adopted nephew) is burdened with taking the One Ring into Mordor with the help of
The Fellowship of the Ring. Major themes that The Hobbit deals with community,
greed, and selfishness. Lord of the Rings key themes are death, immortality, addiction,
and courage. The protagonist of The Hobbit is Bilbo Baggins, and the protagonist of
Lord of the Rings is Frodo Baggins. Thorin and Company are only in The Hobbit, after
they fight The Battle of Five Armies they disband. The Fellowship of the Ring
actually broke up at the end of The Fellowship of the Ring after Borimir dies and
Frodo and Sam leave by themselves to Mordor. There are also many other characters
that are only in The Hobbit or Lord of the Rings, but that list is very
Allotment And Assimilation Era
The Allotment and Assimilation Era was characterized by two different policies.
These were allotment and boarding schools. These periods happened in the time
period of about 1887 to 1934. The allotment policy approach was started with The
General Allotment Act of 1887 (Dawes Act). This was a grant of 160 acres to each
head of a family. Fewer acres were given to single people or minors. The allotted lands
then had to be held in a trust for 25 years in order for the occupant to get the title to the
land. If an Indian were to be alloted land or leave their way of life in a tribe, they could
get Citizenship. The goal was to get the Indians to adopt a civilized life and quicken the
civilizing process assimilation. This caused a change in the... Show more content on

This is because this affected everyone in the tribe when a child went to boarding
school. The parents and family members were ripped away from the child. The family
members also lost their chance to pass on intergenerational knowledge to their children
that they viewed as highly important. The entire tribal community was shaken because
of the literal loss of a member. The impact on the child was even worse. The effect was
immediate and long lasting. They were essentially forced to drop their past way of life
and adopt an entirely alien culture that the tribal community often viewed as distasteful.
This acculturation caused long term psychological impact on the families and children
that were affected. The children were put through a type of culture machine that they
entered as Natives and left as revamped Anglo citizens. This assimilation often destroyed
the child s sense of belonging in either an Anglo or Native setting because they were
raised in both and had mixed feelings about where they belonged. They often lost their
Native language and culture, and they felt a sense of shame about their Native
community and culture. All of these things add up to cause a major immediate impact on
the lives of Native

  • 2. Rawls Theory Of Justice Fundamentally, Rawls aims to present a conception of justice that serves the social contract theory more generally and abstractly than such social contract theories provided by Locke, Rousseau, and Kant. In contrast to Locke, Rousseau, and Kant, Rawls conception of justice does not provide a specific layout for the intricacies and structure of each social institution. His abstract concept of justness, however, provides the foundation from which a just institution must derive. Within Rawls theory of justice, he presents the theory of justice as fairness which aims to establish a just arrangement of the social, economic, and political facets of a liberal society. Rawls states that in order to create a fair society, the citizens should come to a mutual agreement of a sufficient concept of justice, which would only be feasible in the hypothetical situation of an Original Position. Within the Original Position, no social order would exist. Each person would exist without bias or knowledge of their own or anyone else s social circumstances, whether regarding intellect, physical strength, relationships, class, or the like. The people would be capable of forming a conception of the good as well as developing the capacity to develop a sense of justice. Additionally, all persons are to be rational and mutually disinterested so that no one aims to benefit or disadvantage another person. In wanting to advance his own interests in the circumstance of facing choice, one would choose
  • 3. Learning Style Inventory ( Lsi ) Learning Style is a Term that has been of interest in the past few decades in the field of Organizational Behavior. It refers to the way individuals perceive to acquire new skills, knowledge, or education. Scholars of organizational behavior owe David Kolb who is the leading pioneer for the introduction of such term due to his work since 1970`s. David Kolb, a Professor of Organizational Behavior at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland in the US, established an Experimental theory based on a 17 years search study to develop and enhance the abilities of educators using the Learning Style Inventory (LSI). Coffieldand et al (2004).His aim was to improve traditional teaching for management students in perceiving new learned topics. He ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... xCoffieldand et al mentioned that the authors were keen to emphasize (2000, 43) that no single style has an overwhelming advantage over any other. Each has strengths and weaknesses but the strengths may be especially important in one situation, but not in another. Several scholars disagreed with the idea; that each individual has a unique learning style. They critiqued the work of Kolb, Honey and Mumford, and others who followed on the road of searching for improving and classifying educators in to learning categories. They insisted that naming individual according to learning style prevent them from adapting to new ways of learning. In this paper I used Honey and Mumford questionnaire to determine a suitable development program for a candidate. The candidate will answer the Learning style questionnaire (attached in appendix) as honestly as possible, his educational background and past experience should be taken into consideration in the development program. MATERIAL AND METHODS People in organizations are individuals with deferent behavior, values and personality, whereas organizations are group of people who works interdependently toward some purpose (McShawn, andVonGlinow 4th edition). This workforce diversity needs to be stormed and aligned through what is called evolving employment relationship, thus resulting in increasing their flexibility. Employees should also increase their flexibility through

Natalie Wynn Pamela Yates American History II 16 February 2015 The Creation of the Great White Fleet and its Effect on World Affairs Theodore Roosevelt was renowned for his foreign policy that stated: speak softly and carry a big stick. This meant that Roosevelt handled foreign affairs with a tranquil state of mind, but also threatened with the military if things did not go as planned. Roosevelt utilized this ideology to navigate America in the right direction. The Great White Fleet abided by this policy, specifically. From 1907 to 1909, the fleet sailed the seas and made history. Not only did this publicity stunt grant America the respect Roosevelt had hoped for, but it also altered world affairs significantly. The beginnings of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If the cruise was a success, Roosevelt believed that this endeavor would provide the United States with a prime example of a powerful and well trained navy, but he also thought the good outcome of the event would allow him to expand the fleet with four complimentary ships. This would allow for more exploration and time overseas to invest ourselves in the affairs of foreign countries. Though the intent to prove America s worth was strong, there were several other underlying concepts as well. The need to acquire more experience was imperative and it would strengthen the naval forces for any future battles. The various legs of the journey allowed the naval crew to gain the practice they needed to strengthen their expertise; however, the length of the deployment made some shudder with uncertainty. Unfortunately, several obstacles were faced during the plight to gain naval experience. The great length that the fleet would have to travel would call for several stops in order to satisfy the need for coal (consumption of coal was also an area the naval crew needed to brush up on) and docking facilities. There were also issues for the ships that flew the American flag. Roosevelt intervened with supply contracts, but a vast majority of carriers did not comply with this offer because they were incapable of acquiring the proper amount of cargo to pay for the trip back. The Armenian genocide was the Ottoman government s systematic killing of Armenians, which took place during World War I, beginning in 1915. A genocide, which has occurred since ancient times, is the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation. During World War I, the Turkish nationalist government killed an estimate of 1.1 to 1.8 million Armeniansin Eastern Turkey. The Ottoman s took power in the Armenian genocide through classification, preparation, extermination, and denial. The Ottoman s took power in the Armenian genocide through classification. All cultures have categories to distinguish people into us and them which shows the social differences between the majority and minority groups. This division occurs because of differences in ethnicity, race, religion, nationality, culture, or language and serves to drive the us versus them mentality needed to progress further along in the stages of genocide. Bipolar societies that lack mixed categories, are most likely to have a genocide, which is considered to be classification. The classification that happened during the Armenian genocide was that the Turks were Muslim and Armenians were Christians, Muslims dominated society and Armenians were viewed as unfaithful to Allah. In the preparation stage, victims were identified and then separated, death lists were drawn up and the victims were forced to wear identifying symbols.

In the history of philosophy a social doctrine has usually been attached to those ontological and epistemological theses, the doctrine that persons are free (or have freedom) to the extent that they are not constrained, either in their behavior or in their development, by social influences. The liberal doctrine of quot;equal maximal liberty, quot; then, is both a methodological rule for the discovery of the natural as well as a political principle limiting one sort of social influence. Mill elaborates and defends the political doctrine in On Liberty and employs it in The Subjection of Women, which also contains the epistemology. Another statement of the corollary from the latter work more clearly connects the discovery of the natural with freedom: quot;no one can safely pronounce that if women s nature were left to choose its direction as freely as men s, and

Those who make the relationship tend to go on to state that management agency costs are extreme and that increased shareholder power would reduce the costs. Reduced agency costs by definition enhance shareholder value, which in turn is assumed to imply social welfare enhancement. Bratton and Wachter (2013) also found that the shareholder interest, as the outstanding right on corporate wealth, is straight aligned with society s interest in maximizing corporate and therefore societal wealth, and so the shareholder interest succeeds for political attentiveness. For students it is a time of adolescents and many changes occur developmentally and socially. The stress level of teachers affects their effectiveness in instruction, teacher student interaction, and classroom management. The articles that will be discussed in this research paper will examine the effects of the key issues of teacher stress on middle school student s behavior and performance in the classroom. If the teacher is stressed, their behavior will be different with students, and they will perform differently with students. ( Job stress in teachers, 2011). In the research article by Science Daily (2011) two issues were addressed for the study. First teacher stress levels in a middle school setting. Second how the stress of a teacher affects their students behavior and performance in the classroom. The focus of Teresa Mclyntyre, a research professor, is to detect predictors and effects of job stress in middle school teachers, and connecting teacher stress to student behavior and achievement through teacher success. Middle school is one of the most difficult grade levels to instruct because of the student teach interaction. The Islamic Insurgency Of Afghanistan Mullah Akhtar Mansour and the Rising Threat of Islamic Insurgency in Afghanistan War and conflict have raged in Southeast and Central Asia for centuries due to civil unrest and political instability. The rise of the Taliban and other militant insurgencies have escalated the dangers and unpredictability of an already unstable government in Afghanistan. The appointment of the new Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour could result in a dangerous liaison with ISIS. The agenda of these jihadist extremists is the take over the Afghan and Pakistan governments in favor of the more stringent Islamic ways of the Taliban. These groups, professing to do the work of God, are perpetrating a coarse and distorted interpretation of Islam and the Quran. Insurgents have committed violent acts including the killing of police, military personnel, assassinations of political figures, and suicide bombings (Ghufran, 2009, pg 44). Due to the dangerous capabilities of the Taliban combining with the organizational competence of ISIS, the United States coalition forces must be cautious about leaving too quickly from Afghanistan, which will also affect Pakistan. The Birth of the Taliban The Taliban emerged in 1994 from a group of guerilla type Muslim Mujahidin that had fought in the Afghan and Soviet war and were dissatisfied and disillusioned with their current leadership. The Mujahidin s purpose is to perform jihad, meaning to struggle, strive, or persevere in doing God s will (Wikipedia, 2015).

There are some citizens out there who prefer the use of non binary pronouns such as they/their instead of him/her, because they feel as though their gender should not be assumed. Even though some people may not agree with banning gender pronouns, it would protect transgender and other non binary people from discrimination, expand the possibilities for gender identity and expression, and reduce the impact that gender has on our educational system. The family members also lost their chance to pass on intergenerational knowledge to their children that they viewed as highly important. The entire tribal community was shaken because of the literal loss of a member. The impact on the child was even worse. The effect was immediate and long lasting. They were essentially forced to drop their past way of life and adopt an entirely alien culture that the tribal community often viewed as distasteful. This acculturation caused long term psychological impact on the families and children that were affected. The children were put through a type of culture machine that they entered as Natives and left as revamped Anglo citizens. This assimilation often destroyed the child s sense of belonging in either an Anglo or Native setting because they were raised in both and had mixed feelings about where they belonged. They often lost their Native language and culture, and they felt a sense of shame about their Native community and culture. All of these things add up to cause a major immediate impact on the lives of Native
