This presentation discusses different types of thermometers and temperature scales. It introduces liquid, gas, resistance, and thermoelectric thermometers. It then explains four main temperature scales - Kelvin, Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Rankine - including their defining points and the scientists who developed them. Relationships between the different temperature scales are also noted.

Temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure (BP), and oxygen saturation, are measurements that indicate a person’s hemodynamic status. These are the five vital signs most frequently obtained by health care practitioners (Perry, Potter, & Ostendorf, 2014). Vital signs will potentially reveal sudden changes in a patient’s condition and will also measure changes that occur progressively over time. A difference between patients’ normal baseline vital signs and their present vital signs may indicate the need for intervention (Perry et al., 2014). Checklist 15 outlines the steps to take when checking vital signs.

Gives a brief introduction about temperature measurement and its unit. it also enumerates the different techniques employed in temperature measurement.
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

How to Make a Field invisible in Odoo 17Celine George
It is possible to hide or invisible some fields in odoo. Commonly using “invisible” attribute in the field definition to invisible the fields. This slide will show how to make a field invisible in odoo 17.
Instructions for Submissions thorugh G- Classroom.pptxJheel Barad
This presentation provides a briefing on how to upload submissions and documents in Google Classroom. It was prepared as part of an orientation for new Sainik School in-service teacher trainees. As a training officer, my goal is to ensure that you are comfortable and proficient with this essential tool for managing assignments and fostering student engagement.
How to Split Bills in the Odoo 17 POS ModuleCeline George
Bills have a main role in point of sale procedure. It will help to track sales, handling payments and giving receipts to customers. Bill splitting also has an important role in POS. For example, If some friends come together for dinner and if they want to divide the bill then it is possible by POS bill splitting. This slide will show how to split bills in odoo 17 POS.
5. Types Of Thermometer:
Liquid Thermometer
Gas Thermometer
Resistance Thermometer
Thermo-Electric
Thermometer
6. Liquid thermometer:
These thermometers are based on the
principle of change in volume 0f a liquid
with change in temperature.
Gas thermometer:
Based on the principle of change in
pressure.
7. Resistance thermometer:
Based on the principle of change in
resistance with change in temperature.
Thermo electric thermometer:
Based on the thermo electricity ie,
production of thermo E M F in thermo
couple, when two junction are at
different temperatures.
8. Temperature Measure Scale:
Kelvin Scale: Kelvin temperature scale
based on 273.15°K for the freezing
point of water and 373.15°K for the
boiling point of water. When writing
temperatures in the Kelvin scale
Suggested by Lord William Thomson
Kelvin 1848.
9. Centigrade scale:
Celsius in 1742 suggested the
centigrade system of temperature. He
marked zero at the lower point and
100 at the upper fixed point. The
interval between the two fixed points
is divided into equal parts.
10. Fahrenheit scale:
Fahrenheit 1720 suggested this scale by
taking zero as the temperature of the
freezing mixture. The lower fixed point is
32⁰F and upper fixed point marked as 212.
The temperature of the human body on
this scale is 98.4⁰F. The interval divided
into 180 equal parts.
11. Rankine Scale:
Rankine temperature scale based on
491.67°R for the freezing point of
water and 671.64°R for boiling point
of water. When writing temperature
in Rankine scale. Suggested by
William John Macquorn Rankine
1859.
