ABSTRACT
Nowadays, renewable energy resources play an important role in replacing conventional fossil fuel
energy resources. Photovoltaic energy is one of the very promising renewable energy resources which
grew rapidly in the past few years. Photovoltaics has one major problem and which is that with the
variation of the operating conditions of the array, the voltage at which maximum power can be
obtained from it also changes. In the thesis, a PV model is used to simulate actual PV arrays behavior,
and then a Maximum Power Point tracking method and wind energy system using Feed Forward
Neural networks is proposed in order to control the power. Further more,the proposed feed forward
neural network technique using hybrid system is compared with the ANFIS(adaptive neuro fuzzy
interference system). Simulation results shows that the proposed feed forward neural network
maximum power point tracking method gives faster response than the ANFIS

scene I want to focus on for the textual analysis is the scene in which the angel Cassiel attempts to
comfort a suicidal man, but his attempts at comfort fail when the man jumps off of a building, causing
Cassiel to descend into a spiral of grief and anger. The scene starts with a sound bridge between a shot
of birds in flight and a shot of a man sitting on the edge of a building. The sound of the birds mixes
with non diegetic music and the sound of the man s thoughts. The viewers can hear his thoughts,

quickly paced short shots. The short, confusing shots serve to disorient the viewer and put them in the

handheld shots that progress through the city, there are shots of people that are vulnerable or hurt.
There is a shot of a woman lying on a staircase, a shot of a man on a bench, possibly an index pointing
at him being homeless, a fighting couple, a child crying for his mother, and footage that seems to be
from during the war, intercutting with shots of a bird s wings. Bird s wings are symbolically
associated with angels, and these shots intercut with shots of war and destruction, linking the two
together, the angel is the powerless witness of the war. The viewer understands the shots in the
montage to be from the angel s point of view; he is the one who sees all that pain and carries the
burden of comfort. Jump cuts are used as well throughout the montage, for example in the shot of the
women in the staircase, further increasing the sense of frantic confusion, and an example of poetic

people living within the borders of the Austro Hungarian Empire during and prior to World War One.
The Empire was a confusing, heterogeneous mixture of several ethnicities forced into a single
citizenship and state. As a real life example, the imperial census of the Austro Hungarian Empire in
1910 caused problems when it asked subjects to state their identity. The official criterion was the
language spoken, yet controversy raged when other officials argued for history, geography,

The Effectiveness of Drug Treatment Courts: Three Empirical Studies Since the origination of drug
treatment courts, there has been countless numbers of offenders who have successfully completed the
program and fought their way past drug abuse. There are also a handful of offenders who may have
struggled to change their drug abuse or addiction, and fell short of completing the program. In this
second part of my report, I will be determining whether drug treatment court programs actually work.
To accomplish this task, I will be reviewing three empirical studies to evaluate how effective the
program truly is. The first empirical study that I will be reviewing is the Orange County Juvenile Drug
Court (OCJDC) located in Orange County, California between 1999 and 2006 (Fradella, Fischer,
Kleinpeter, Koob, 2009). This study consists of 232 teenagers (164 males and 68 females) with the age
of these individuals ranging between 12 and 17 years (Fradella et al., 2009). In this study, researchers
attempt to understand why Latino teenagers were graduating from drug treatment court (DTC) at a
much lower rate than rest of the teenagers at the same institution (Fradella et al., 2009). In the Orange
County Juvenile Drug Court, 97% of the offenders are Latino or Caucasian (Fradella et al., 2009).

Unlike the traditional bath, the soap at this spa didn t possess a horrendous odor, and the hammam
lady seemed like she didn t want to cause me any pain. Plus, there were massages, manicures, waxing,
and whatever else fancy people do when they re spa ing.
The hammam also provided a much needed opportunity for stress relief, which I desperately needed
after the re entry workshop I had been subjected to the day before. Since this is our final week in
Tangier, we were required to attend the workshop in order to reflect on our experiences and prepare to
re adjust to life in the U.S., i.e. avoiding reverse culture shock. (What is reverse culture shock? This
link will tell you, because I don t feel like doing that.) However, the workshop just turned out to be
another opportunity for me to put up with nonsense. I won t go into any details about what went down
because that doesn t matter, but I ll give my two cents on a couple of points.
First: This is a fully paid opportunity to study abroad, and the program only lasts eight weeks. I
believe that reverse culture shock is real and stressful, but if that s the going to be the biggest problem
I have in my life right now, that s fine by me.

Anne Moody saw the true hideousness of racial violence shortly after beginning high school. Emmet
Till was killed by a group of white men for merely whistling and showing interest in a white woman.
Anne was surprised at how unaware she was to the things happening around her. I don t remember if
anyone was murdered, but back when I was in high school it was almost as if whites viewed it to be
cardinal sin for an African American male to be with a white woman. This too was a time where I saw

production companies. Furthermore, it touches on the broadening of the local theatrical audience, the

Wei Chen is just about the coolest character in the book, American Born Chinese, and being the
coolest character in the book comes with its perks, or downsides. Wei Chen is definitely an abstract
character especially because Wei Chen has two different personalities or egos . There is a fake Wei
Chen, and a real Wei Chen. They both are the same person just show up at different times or act very
differently than Wei Chen normally would. The fake Wei Chen starts with the moment Jin plants a big
wet one on Suzy and Wei Chen gets upset as a result. But even though he is mad at Jin, he s so

Hes a kid who can t dress, or do his hair, and sure his english is very offset, he is just the friend to
have there for you when things go bad. He s honest, like when he calls Jin a cowardly turtle for not
helping with Amelia take care of the animals in biology class after school. He is the smartest, geekiest,
nicest guy who, after Jin apologizes to him starts to analyze the pearl milk tea at the chinese cafe
saying something like, The tea tastes like an oily drink, probably made when there was stir fry being
made close by. Then after accepting Jins apology, invites him to a real boba tea shop down the street.
Basically the message that Wei Chen sends is that, all is forgiven. Its just how Wei Chen acts, he isn t
the kind of person to bundle up all the anger and hold a grudge, especially if he sees someone doing
good. Like Jin when he makes his apology. Which with all that being said is why Wei Chen is the
coolest character in the book, or better yet the hero. He may seem weird and awkward at first but he
doesn t care what anyone thinks and he just goes on with his life. In fact, you can even consider Wei

Two very different stories with little similarities, I plan on putting these two stories together and point

story Story of an hour, written by Kate Chopin, is a women named Mrs. Mallad. This character is a
women with a heart condition, at any time if she is surprised she could have a heart attack and die. So
when Mallad sister, Josephine tells her about the news of her husband being killed in a train accident,
