Hello! My name is Kristen Thrash; I am 22 year old newlywed (as of July 2015).
Presently nearing the end of 2015 I am in my first 30 days in a new job position as

A dilemma has appeared in many schools around the country lately over the topic of
switching to a block schedule or staying with the traditional system of seven classes
to cut down costs; while the block system is the best choice, both systems affect the
schools differently in a number of places that range from the students well being to
the amount of money that goes into each schoolsystem.
The block system is designed so that the students have four classes a day for one
semester and then four different classes the next semester, which allows the students
to complete a total of eight credits by the end of the year; this schedule is also a

Martin Luther King Jr Respond To The Letter From...
The Letter from the Birmingham jail was a great letter. Written by a very eloquent
man, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, the letter was very persuasive and I believe it
must be hard to disagree with him after he made so many valid points. That is
precisely what will be discussed. So in the letter, Martin Luther King, Jr. talks about
how the clergymen that wrote to him and criticized him for supposedly planning his
speech at an unwisely and untimely time. To which, Martin Luther King, Jr backed
his reasoning with one of the most inspirational quotes I have personally seen. He
makes the point that For years now I have heard the word Wait! It rings in the ear of
every Negro with piercing familiarity. This Wait! has almost always meant Never....
was responding to also made it a point that he couldn t support something that was
breaking laws. To which, he responded with about how it was morally wrong for the
people in his organization to just sit by and do nothing while their friends of color
could not participate in activities due to the race they were born with. A law that is
morally wrong to someone that would not impact someone s life (unless
positively) is a law that can be bypassed considering it is something as simple as
judging someone for something that they can t even control, such as skin tone.
Martin Luther King, Jr. wasn t even advocating that it was okay to break laws, he
simply stated that people have a moral and lawful duty to upkeep laws. Especially
for just and unjust laws to which you can differentiate if you read the letter
yourself. His whole letter was a response to someone that criticized him for what
he believed in and what he did to help his community. He was simply telling them
why he did what he did. With all valid arguments, I personally believe Martin
Luther King, Jr. achieved his purpose in explaining why he was an advocate against
slavery and why he did such things for the sake of freedom. Even though there were
so many more points he justified, for not only himself but his community, this essay
is getting quite long. So, I completely agree with Martin Luther King, Jr. s letter and
I am moved by what he had to

Reflection About Sex Education
If you are in college, you have more than likely had some kind of sex education in
your lifetime. But just how comprehensive has that education been for most young
adults in college? How much do college students really know or understand issues
dealing with sex, sexual orientation, gender identities and communication in
relationships? Through this study, I found people really have varying degrees of
knowledge, understanding, and opinions about these topics. Most college students
are perceived as uninformed about more complex situations involving sex,
sexuality and gender identity. Sure, a lot of them are sexually active, but they
never received a comprehensive lesson or talk regarding these topics that would
help them better navigate themselves and relationships. This class has given me an
extensive lesson about not just sex, but the Biology begins how individual identity,
communication within relationships, pregnancy, how sex changes as you get older,
and many more important lessons. When I asked most of the girls if they plan on
getting their future sons circumcised, all who were asked answered with fervor,
yes, of course , but when I asked them to expand on why, they gave me no more
than just, well because that s how it is supposed to look. Most do not really
understand how circumcision became popular, or really even why they want to
implement this practice on their sons beyond, well, that s how they re supposed to
