I think Nijinsky decided to use the circle dancing as his spatial configuration because the circles
allowed for more use of the stage and it symbolizes the rituals of natives are all connected during their
celebrations and sacrifices. By having the males and females separated Nijinsky made a strong
statement that I believe is that the only thing that brings the sexes together is their important ritual of
sacrifice. For most of the performance, the dancers were in unison. This helps the audience capture
everything that is occurring. It allows the crowd to focus their attention on the important aspect of the

Minnie Wright and Mr.Wright. Glaspell advocates for the equality of woman and hopes to warn the
readers of the difference between the law and what is actually right. She conveys the meaning of her
theme by describing a case of a deprived woman, Minnie, who is absolutely isolated from any other

During my observation, I followed the patient from her preparation of surgery, into the operating
room, to recovery. I gain insight on what happens during surgeries from nurses, surgeons, and other
hospital staff. This experience was much different than any other clinical I have gone to. After having
first hand experience, I now know that surgery is nothing like what is portrayed on television.

The procedure that I observed was a total knee replacement of the left knee, and it was for a patient
who was suffering from osteoarthritis. The only allergy that this patient had was to quinidine, an
antiarrhythmic agent and anti parasite agent, irrelevant to her osteoarthritis. Other than osteoarthritis,
this patient was generally healthy and did not have any other health conditions or comorbidities that
would impact this surgery or any other activities of daily living.

Strengths.
Prescribed drug treatment seems to be the strongest source of psychological stress control. Anti
depressants and BZs are prescribed to reduce the feelings of anxiety or depression induced through
stress induced illness. The effect of the drugs is simple; they suitably block or reduce the activity of
the brains neurotransmitter for release of serotonin, or directly reduce activity in the pathways leading
to the nervous system around the body, not allowing blood pressure or the heart rate to rise, as it is
these bodily systems that influence the feelings of anxiety. Once blocked or suppressed the individual
when faced with a stressor will feel much calmer and able to cope with the unwanted stressor
presented to them.
Weaknesses.
All drugs present side effects which are usually unpleasant. Most common side effects are nausea,
dizziness and stomach upset. Other side effects experienced are drowsiness and subdued awareness,
these are more serious side effects which can cause a threat to personal safety whilst driving or if you

Utopia In John Foster s Story The Machine Stops
In Fosters story The Machine Stops he displays two points of view into the utopian society ruled by
the machine, which prove Rothstein s Idea that one man s utopia is another man s dystopia. The first
character in his story, Vashti, Is content with her life and would consider society close to a utopia. The
second character, Kuno, Vashti s son, is not as pleased with his situation. The clashing opinions give
the reader a lot to think about when considering Rothstein s idea.
Vashti, the woman at the beginning of the story, lives out her days as many other people of this time
do, sitting alone in an arm chair in the middle of their room. Everything is brought to her at a moment
s notice, which makes moving from her spot a seemingly pointless thing to do. For her, everything is
good enough . When she refers to the way the machine cannot display the emotions of another, while
talking with her son, she disregards the imperfection saying that the idea this communication is an
idea that was good enough for all practical purposes. She goes on to say in her narration that
