2. Analyze the learner
This is a 4th grade class with 18 students, 10 boys and 8 girls. There are 5
students in the class who have mild to severe ADHD. 13 of the students are
White and 5 are African American.
3. Main Objective
The students will be able to briefly explain the Boston Tea Party after watching
a video, summarizing an article, making a poster and robot, and blogging with
100% accuracy by the end of the week.
4. Day by Day
• Monday – Introduction to the Boston Tea Party. The students will watch the Schoolhouse
Rocks video “Tea Party: No more Kings” and write a paragraph on their blog with 5
(accurate) things they learned from the video.
• Tuesday – Students will access an article from Kidspast and comment on the Facebook post.
• Wednesday – Students will use Twitter to access a Webquest which will have the information
needed to create a poster.
• Thursday – Continue to work on posters. At home the students will log onto Zello, so I can
explain the Robot project that will be due the following Monday.
• Friday – Students will take a short quiz on the Boston Tea Party and then each student will
present the poster.
