радіють та веселяться.
16 Тому вони приносять жертви своїм сітям і
кадять своїм волокам; бо в них частка їхня

шкодуватимуть постійно, щоб убивати народи?

1 Я буду стояти на своїй сторожі, і поставити
мене на вежі, і буду дивитися, щоб побачити,
що він скаже мені, і що я відповім, коли мене
докорять.

видіння, і виклади його ясно на таблицях, щоб
той міг читати його.
3 Бо видіння ще на визначений час, але

4 Ось душа його, що підноситься, не в ньому
праведна, а праведний житиме своєю вірою.

вино, він горда людина, і не тримається вдома,
хто розширює свої бажання, як пекло, і є як
смерть, і не може насититися, але збирає до
себе всі народи, і збирає для нього всіх Люди:
6 Хіба всі ці не скажуть проти нього притчу та
глузливу приказку проти нього, і не скажуть:
Горе тому, хто примножує не його! як довго? і
тому, хто обтяжується товстою глиною!
7 Чи не встануть раптово ті, хто вкусить тебе,
і не розбудяться ті, хто тебе гнітить, і ти
станеш для них здобиччю?
8 За те, що ти пограбував багато народів, усі
рештки народів пограбують тебе; за людську
кров і за насильство над землею, над містом і
над усіма, хто живе в ньому.
9 Горе тому, хто жадає зла зажерливість до
свого дому, щоб поставити гніздо своє на
висоті, щоб урятуватися від влади злої!
10 Ти задумав ганьбу дому своєму,
винищивши багато людей, і згрішив проти
своєї душі.
11 Бо камінь кричить із стіни, і колода з
дерева відповість йому.
12 Горе тому, хто будує місто кров'ю і
зміцнює місто беззаконням!
13 Ось, хіба не від Господа Саваота те, що
народ буде працювати в самому вогні, і народ
буде втомлюватися через марноту?
2. 14 Бо земля буде наповнена знанням слави
Господньої, як вода покриває море.
15 Горе тому, хто напоює свого ближнього,
хто ставить йому свою пляшку, та ще й його
напоює, щоб ти міг дивитися на їхню наготу!
16 Ти наповнився соромом замість слави, пий
і ти, і нехай відкриється крайня плоть твоя, до
тебе обернеться чаша правиці Господньої, і на
славу твою буде ганьба.
17 Бо насильство Лівану покриє тебе, і здобич

18 Яка користь від різьби, яку вирізьбив його
творець? литий бовван і вчитель брехні, що

19 Горе тому, хто скаже дереву: Прокинься!
німому каменю, встань, він навчить! Ось воно
золотом та сріблом вкрите, і духу немає в
ньому!
