With the use of special equipment complex, existing soil is granulated intensively
and intermixed with corresponding binding materials, and after that it is graded and

Technological process
1.Soil analysis
1. Excavation of soil samples
2. Laboratory analysis of samples:
- particle-size composition
- percentage of clay particles and dust
- definition of number of soil plasticity
- control of pH soil in soil-water extract
3. Laboratory selection of mixture receipt:
- optimization of particle-size composition
- definition of optimal humidity
- definition of maximum density
- ultimate compression strength in dry and capillary
water saturation
The practice shows that engineering project
of the road need to be corrected after laboratory
analysis of soil.
Almost all projects contain omissions (faults)
that lead to useless excess consumption of
materials and to premature destruction of the
road base.

Preliminary grading makes the basis for qualified
realization of the project.

or execute work not in so high quality due to obsolete
equipment. This not only reduces the working life of
the road but reduces comfort of riding on it.

spreader to obtain accuracy of entering
according to the requirements of composition

composition: if there will be too much cement – the
base will split after winter and if there I too little
cement the base won’t be solid enough.

the ground or pulverized cement right from the pipe of
cement carrier.

Intermixing of soil with the use of
recycler – technics that allow to get
qualified mixing due to fine adjustment
It is important to control % of soil humidity
according to the project. With insufficient humidity
you can connect machine-water carrier to recycler.
Abundant or insufficient humidity will obstacle
the reaction and will make the road base useless.

5. Compaction
Soil compaction by the vibratory padfoot
drum soil compactor 16-20t
Number of passages is corrected on the basis
of intermediate measures on the site of work
execution
Very often the following mistakes take place:
- underconsolidation for the whole depth due to
incorrect selection of series of compactors and
operation mode;
- softening of the base due to the expiration of
setting time or due to too big number of passages.

6. Shaping
1. Creating of necessary longitude and
cross sections by grader, leading road
surface to shaping elevations
2. Final compacting of upper layers of the
road base by pneumatic tired roller
All works with soil mixture could be executed
not later than 3 hours since the moment of
interference of recycler. After 3 hours the setting
reaction is over and the subsequent works of
stabilization and road grading only disarrange its
structure and make inappropriate for use.

The final stage of works is making control measures
of modulus of elasticity with the use of the device
Terratest-3000

by the road carpet- asphalt and concrete, crushed asphalt
or other coverage.

intensivity of traffic and loads on the axle, the

intensivity of transport traffic with light load on
the axle it was decided to enter into the
composition of mixture of bituminous emulsion
for the improvement of parametres of the base
and to reduce the depth of stabilization due to
increased parameters in order to save funds.
