2. Software Used
• I focused the production and development of my teaser trailer on the
creative and reliable Adobe Premier Pro CC. As far as editing software
goes, it seems to be the most reliable and contains the most intricate of
settings for an individual to change even the smallest aspects of a scene
or sound that has been implemented into the trailer.
I enjoy using Premier Pro because it allows every aspect of a trailer to be
edited to personal liking, which will be shown throughout my teaser
trailer production phase.

3. Introduction to the teaser trailer
The green band template establishes
the trailer`s content and provides age
rating of the film itself. By
implementing a green band template
at the start of my teaser trailer, it
allows the audience to be aware of the
up-coming content but also helps the
trailer look more professional.

4. Sound editing
By creating a crisp sound of both the
soundtrack and the monologue, the
trailer will sound, as well as look,
professional. The audience will have a
better response to a good audio backing
towards the scenes.
All scenes within the trailer have to consist of crisp audio from both
the soundtrack and the actors monologue. The editing and
alteration to both elements of sound need to be equalised and
synchronized with one another in order to fit the scenes.

Most of the elements of the soundtrack i.e. volume control and equalisation, only need
slight alterations in order to balance out the monologue . The timing of the soundtrack
needs to impeccable as it is one of three main elements of this trailer that needs to be in
full synchronization with the monologue.

7. Picture Editing
Firstly, the synchronization between the film, the soundtrack and the monologue need
to be perfect as it helps to create a well flowing trailer. If all aspects of the trailer aren`t
synchronized together then it would not make sense to the audience.

The unaltered film sequence is being synchronised
with the non-diegetic soundtrack/monologue. For
the development of my trailer to eventually take
shape I need to lay 3 solid foundations, in which, I
base my whole trailer upon. The three main
foundations are the soundtrack, monologue and
the film scenes themselves.

8. Picture Specification Editing
Some of the main film effects and alterations that have taken place within my trailer is
from the use of video transitions i.e. dipping to black, white and dissolving scenes into
one another, in order to create a continuous flow of footage that will eventually form
into a professional looking trailer.

9. Picture Specification Editing
The differentiation between an original scene and an edited scene can make all the
difference when creating a finalised film trailer. The use of video effects within
Premier Pro enables me to make slight alterations to the contrast and lighting of
selected scenes to create a more visually balanced transition between each scene.
