This document summarizes research conducted on teachers' perceptions of open educational resources (OER) through workshops. The researchers collected both qualitative and quantitative data from workshops with teachers at different types of institutions to understand attitudes, motivations, barriers and views on quality regarding OER. Preliminary findings from participant quotes suggest that while some teachers see benefits like cost savings and interactive learning, others express concerns about reliability, lack of recognition, and not having time. The workshops were designed to help teachers understand OER and relate it to their work, and facilitated discussion of these topics. The research is still ongoing with transcription and analysis of workshop recordings and survey responses.
