This document lists the hardware, software, and online tools used to create a video project. The key hardware included an iMac for editing, a Canon HD camera for filming scenes, a condenser microphone for recordings, and lighting equipment like a diffuser light and spotlight. The main software used were Final Cut Pro for editing and joining scenes, and GarageBand for creating music and sound effects. Online tools included YouTube for uploading videos, Mahara for blogging, and SoundCloud for sharing music.

3. Hardware
• Another one of the most
essential pieces of
equipment we used was
the Canon HD Camera for
shooting the scenes .
• In-order to research and create
the final version one of the
most essential pieces of
technical equipment we used
was an Apple iMac. This apple
mac was used to upload,
create, edit and research
information.

4. Lighting
One type of lighting we used for some shots
Was the diffuser light on the left, this gave
the room general lighting as it was a bright
light, we used it to get the room to a certain
level of lighting so we didn’t get any
pixilation in the playback of the Camera
shots.
The Second type of light we used was a
spot light with shutter doors we used
this to create the effect of the door
being open as we used a dark room to
shoot the cupboard scenes in.

5. • Another piece of minor equipment was
the camera tripod as we only used it for 3
scenes in sequence we used the tripod for
stability during filming. The reason being it
only being used for 3 scenes is because in
most thrillers you see free hand stabilizers
used to give a POV effect
Again another piece of equipment we
used was the small condenser
microphone we used this to record a
voice over you hear in the opening
sequence. The reasons we used the
Condenser Mic is because it was the
best option to use for example it is
better than an iPad mic or a phone mic.

6. Software
• Another one of the most important
piece of software we used was
Garage Band this was used to create
all the music, voice overs and sounds
effects through the opening
sequence. Garage band was the main
software we used because it was free
for us to use and it had all the loops
and instruments pre installed.
• One of the main pieces of
software we used was Final
Cut Pro this was used join the
music and scenes together.
This was the main software for
editing and re-working the
shots we got.

7. Online Software
• We used YouTube to
upload our videos when
we progressed and to
upload the final video
sequence (Final Cut).
• We also used an online
blog software called
Mahara which allows us to
create new posts and show
what we have done by
updating with a new blog.

8. • Slide Share – allowed us
to upload work from
Word or Power point
which we could embed
into the post and saves
the upload limit we had
on Mahara.
• Sound Cloud – Was
used briefly to upload
the music we made
onto so we had a
platform where it was
available to view it.

9. • Word Generator – I also
used word generator to
create a nice colorful
cloud of worded feedback
that I was given. To make
my blog more colorful.
