MoLe is a system that uses smartwatch sensors to infer input words typed on a keyboard by detecting subtle motions from keystrokes. It utilizes the accelerometer and gyroscope on a Samsung smartwatch worn on the left wrist to detect keystroke timing and locations without any training of the user. By analyzing the watch sensor data and comparing it to character point clouds and templates, MoLe can output a ranked list of possible typed words using Bayesian inference considering multiple factors like number of keystrokes, character transitions, and keystroke intervals. It was evaluated on 8 subjects typing English words of varying lengths with different keyboards and sampling rates.

I created the first version of this keynote around July of 2008 when we were conducting some very interesting mobile reporting experiments from the Sahara Desert with our reporter May Ying Welsh who was commissioned to do a story on the Tuareg rebels in the Niger region. The OnePlus company was founded on 16 December 2013 by former Oppo vice president Pete Lau. According to government documentation, the only institutional stockholder in OnePlus is Oppo, although Lau has denied that OnePlus is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oppo.[2] The company's main goal was to design a smartphone that would balance high-end quality with a lower price than other phones in its class, believing that users would "never settle" for the lower-quality devices produced by other companies. Lau explained that "we will never be different just for the sake of being different. Everything done has to improve the actual user experience in day-to-day use."[3][4] He also showed aspirations of being the "Muji of the tech industry", emphasizing its focus on high-quality products with simplistic, user-friendly designs.[3] Continuing Lau's association with the platform from the Oppo N1,[4] OnePlus entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Cyanogen Inc. to base its products' Android distribution upon a variant of the popular custom ROM CyanogenMod and use its trademarks outside of China.[5][6]
The company unveiled its first device, the OnePlus One, on 23 April 2014.[3] In December 2014, alongside the release of the OnePlus One in India exclusively through Amazon, OnePlus also announced plans to establish a presence in the country, with plans to open 25 official walk-in service centres across India.[7] Sales of the device in India were halted following a temporary injunction granted to Micromax Mobile, alleging that it violated its exclusive rights to distribute Cyanogen-branded products in South Asia as part of a new joint venture and that its agreement superseded the agreement it had established with OnePlus. The company disputed the arguments, noting that its Cyanogen-based software was different than that of Micromax's, and argued that the exclusivity agreement only meant that Cyanogen could not partner with any other company based in India, and did not inhibit the ability for OnePlus to market its products in the country with its trademarks.[5][8] One Plus developed a new android custom rom named Oxygen OS. The new shipment of OnePlus One also removed the Cyanogen Logo from its back and box in order to simplify production lines.
OnePlus disembarked in South-East Asia partnering with Lazada Indonesia on 23 January 2015 and is expected to expand during this year throughout the region.
In 2014, OnePlus hired Han Han as the product ambassador in China.[9]
On 9 March 2014 the company decided to expand its operations to all European Union countries, serving now over 35 countries and regions all over the world.

Applications included Final Cut Pro, Garage Band, SoundCloud, SlideShare, YouTube, Mahara, and Prezi. Final Cut Pro was used most for editing the opening sequence. Garage Band was used to make music and record voiceovers, which was then the hardest application to learn. Overall the project taught that various technologies are needed for filmmaking and presenting work online.

From constructing their media product, the group learned about various editing and camera technologies. They used iMovie for editing, which allowed them to arrange footage and add audio. They also learned that cameras need to be fully charged before filming. Using a phone camera resulted in lost footage that couldn't be retrieved for the final film.

- 3. Equipment • Another one of the most essential pieces of equipment we used was the Canon HD Camera for shooting the scenes . • In-order to research and create the final version one of the most essential pieces of technical equipment we used was an Apple iMac.
- 4. Lighting One type of lighting we used for some shots Was the diffuser light on the left, this gave the room general lighting as it was a bring light, we used it so the didn't get any pixilation in the playback of the Camera shots. The Second type of light we used was a spot light with shutter doors we used this to create the effect of the door being open as we used a dark room to shoot the cupboard scenes in.
- 5. • Another piece of minor equipment was the camera tripod as we only used it for 3 scenes in sequence we used the tripod for stability during filming. Again another piece of equipment we used was the small condenser microphone we used this to record a voice over you hear in the opening sequence.
- 6. Software • Another one of the most important piece of software we used was Garage Band this was used to create all the music, voice overs and sounds effects through the opening sequence. • One of the main pieces of software we used was Final Cut Pro this was used join the music and scenes together.
- 7. Online Software • We used YouTube to upload our videos when we progressed and to upload the final video sequence (Final Cut). • We also used an online blog software called Mahara which allows us to create new posts and show what we have done by updating with a new blog.
