The document is a script describing two sisters, Dahlia and Cynthia, playing a terrifying game of hide and seek with their deranged mother in a dark attic cupboard. As their mother's menacing footsteps approach and she taunts them by tapping on the cupboard door, the terrified girls try to remain silent and still. Their mother's cruel laughter and the sound of the cupboard locking traps the screaming sisters in darkness.

1. The cupboard is shown. The camera is slowly moving towards the
cupboard, extremely slow; the zoom is long enough for the voice over.
DAHLIA (V.O)
Have you ever played a game of Hide n Seek...
The zoom is continuous
Cont. DAHLIA (V.O)
...where you were hiding for so long that
you thought they had forgotten all about you?...
The cupboard is continually growing larger, seeming more intimidating,
dooming.
Cont. DAHLIA (V.O)
Where you were scared that you would never be found.
Or maybe you were scared of being found.
There is a strike of a match, one of the girls illuminates the darkness,
and their faces and upper bodies are the only things visible. The two
girls are clearly terrified, the younger looking one whispers out into the
silence.
CYNTHIA (WHISPERING)
Dahlia?
The older girl looks down at the Dahlia, terror in her eyes as she clasps
onto her younger sister tighter
DAHLIA

2. Please be quiet Cynthia, I promise if you are silent then Mama wont catch us.
CYNTHIA
I don’t like this game anymore Dahlia, I want stop playing.
Suddenly both girls are silenced as the voice of their deranged mother is heard.
Their terror is increased, eyes widen and the younger claps her hands over her
ears as the mother speaks.
MOTHER
Come out come out wherever you are, little girls.
The footsteps of the mother are heard, loud, menacing. The girls squeeze their
eyes tightly shut in fear.
DAHLIA – (WHSIPERING)
Dont move Cynthia, it isn’t safe, Daddy can’t protect us from her anymore.
The match wears out, the girls are plunged into darkness again. Their
breathing is loud and irregular.
CYNTHIA
I can hear her, she’s coming.
MOTHER
Girls, girls, girls, what have I told you about coming into the Attic to play, playtime
is over.
There is a clear tapping on the cupboard door; the mother knows where
the two girls are. She is teasing them, striking more fear into them.
Cruel. The mother begins to tut.
Mother
Are you hiding in the cupboard, my little ones.

3. The girls breathing is still loud, they try and peak through the cupboard
door. There is a sudden jump scare as the Mother’s eye is shown
through the crack. It creases into a smile. Wicked. Torturing. The eye is
gone and there is clear sound of a lock turning. The girls are locked into
the cupboard.
Mother
I have always told you, you are forbidden from coming up here. This is where
Mummy keeps her dollies, this is where Mummy likes to play.
The outside of the cupboard is shown, the screaming and banging from
the girls is loud and clear as the camera slowly begins to zoom out,
much like the beginning shot of the camera zooming into the cupboard.
There is a dark swoosh past as the mother walks in front of the camera,
her face and clothes are not recognizable, just a dark shadow moving
through. The camera continues to move out and the terror of the girls
increases. The shot either fades to darkness or suddenly cuts to the title
of the movie FORBIDDEN.
