3. COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION:-
• Community orgnisation means the process of
bringing about and maintaining between social
welfare needs and resources in a given community.
• Community orgnisation is a process. identification
of need and resources, involvement of community
organizer etc are the characteristics of community
orgnisation.
• Felt needs, resource mobilization, local leadership,
are the principles of community orgnisation.
4. DEFINITION:-
According to ‘M.G ROSS’
community orgnisation
as a process to identifies its needs and objective
of the community, to allocate the resources by
external or internal , take action in respect to
them, and so doing external and develop
Co-operation and collaboration in the practice
of Community work.
5. OBJECTIVES:-
• Adjustment between community needs and
resources.
• Involve people participation.
• Motivating people towards achieving
interest so that it mobilising material and immateual support.
• developing and improving standard of services for new
initiatives .
• Define need of the community and priorities
them .
• Organize people promote and facilitate relationship by
fostering interaction .
• Develop an understanding of welfare program and services.
6. WHAT IS NGO:-
A non- governmental orgnisation (NGO) is any non-
profit, voluntary citizens’ group which is organized
on a local national or international level. task-
oriented and
driven by people with a common interest a large
number of NGOs performs a variety of services an
humanitarian function, bring citizen concerns to
govts, advocate & monitor policies and encourage
political participation.
and some are organized around specific issues.
such as human right, exploitation of weaker section,
etc.
7. ROLE OF N.G.O:-
• Planner and implementer of development
programmers.
• mobiliser of local resources and initiative.
• Builder of self reliant sustainable society.
• Mediator of people and government.
• Agents of information.
• Catalyst ,enabler and innovator.
• Facilitator of development education, health,
sanitation etc.
Basically NGOs role is to prepare for change. they
Empower the people to overcome psychological
problem and opposition of oppress. Its role can
not denied.

everyone in the community to join.
• Proper monitoring of the scheme .
• well-defined benefit packages.
• Creating supportive environment .
• Empowering to community to achieve
wellbeing.

on the media.

The NGO sectors is all set to play vital role. For community or society .There are
lot of scheme that are designed by government To enrich the lives of the
unfortunate and the underprivileged. They empower the people and aware for
their rights ,resource And welfares scheme . So that they could can make
differences in their life.
