Target audience Profile 
The reader of ‘OMG! POP’ is a female aged 10-14. She is still in 
education in the lower years of high school, and is single, but likes 
crushing on celebrity boys, and boys in their classes at school. 
She likes having fun with her friends, and is confident in what she 
enjoys. She is outgoing and talkative when she’s happy, but when 
she’s in a bad mood, she’s very quiet. The reader of this magazine 
is hardworking at school, and she knows where she wants to go in 
her later life; she wants to work in the fashion industry. She is 
honest, imaginative and thoughtful of all her friends and families 
needs. Though fashionable in her appearance, she wears what 
she likes and what suits her so that her unique style is shown 
through her outfits. 
In her free time, she enjoys going shopping with her friends, and 
loves catching the latest trends in the sale section. She also enjoys 
reading books and watching films; her favourite films are Rom- 
Com’s like ‘love actually’, and her favourite books are those written 
by John Green, for example, ‘looking for Alaska’. 
This young girl loves pop music, and it features heavily in her life; 
she loves putting it on in her bedroom and dancing and singing 
around when she’s got free time, or when she’s getting ready in 
the mornings. Her all time favourite singer within the pop genre is 
Taylor Swift, and she has recently been to see her in concert. She 
enjoys using social networking sites like Face Book and Twitter, so 
she can keep up with her favourite celebrities, and keep in contact 
with all her friends. 
The reader of ‘OMG! POP’ currently reads other pop magazine, 
like ‘top of the pops’ as she enjoys finding out all the gossip, and 
getting the best advice from different magazines.

Target Audience Profile

  • 1. Target audience Profile The reader of ‘OMG! POP’ is a female aged 10-14. She is still in education in the lower years of high school, and is single, but likes crushing on celebrity boys, and boys in their classes at school. She likes having fun with her friends, and is confident in what she enjoys. She is outgoing and talkative when she’s happy, but when she’s in a bad mood, she’s very quiet. The reader of this magazine is hardworking at school, and she knows where she wants to go in her later life; she wants to work in the fashion industry. She is honest, imaginative and thoughtful of all her friends and families needs. Though fashionable in her appearance, she wears what she likes and what suits her so that her unique style is shown through her outfits. In her free time, she enjoys going shopping with her friends, and loves catching the latest trends in the sale section. She also enjoys reading books and watching films; her favourite films are Rom- Com’s like ‘love actually’, and her favourite books are those written by John Green, for example, ‘looking for Alaska’. This young girl loves pop music, and it features heavily in her life; she loves putting it on in her bedroom and dancing and singing around when she’s got free time, or when she’s getting ready in the mornings. Her all time favourite singer within the pop genre is Taylor Swift, and she has recently been to see her in concert. She enjoys using social networking sites like Face Book and Twitter, so she can keep up with her favourite celebrities, and keep in contact with all her friends. The reader of ‘OMG! POP’ currently reads other pop magazine, like ‘top of the pops’ as she enjoys finding out all the gossip, and getting the best advice from different magazines.
