Tadalista (Tadalafil Tablets) which belongs to a class of
drugs called phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitors, is an
oral medicine that is used for treating impotence (the
inability to attain or maintain a penile erection) and benign
prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Tadalista tablets have a very
long 17.5 hours half-life as compared with only 4 hours for
Sildenafil Citrate.

Active Ingredient
The active ingredient contained in
Tadalista tablets is Tadalafil. Each film
coated Tadalista tablet contains 5 mg,
10 mg or 20 mg of Tadalafil.

Uses of Tadalista Tablets
Tadalafil (Tadalista tablets by Fortune Health
Care) is used to treat erectile dysfunction
(ED), a medical condition characterized by
inability to get or keep an erection, in men 18
years or older.
Tadalafil belongs to a class of medicines called
phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors.
This medicine works to treat erectile
dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the
penis during sexual stimulation by inhibiting
phosphodiesterase-5.
This increased blood flow can cause an
erection.

Tadalista Dosage
➢Tadalista Tablets must be swallowed whole,
and can be taken with or without food.
➢Starting Dose for Treatment of ED: 10 mg of
Tadalista as required prior to sexual activity.
➢The dosage may be increased to 20 mg or
decreased to 5 mg based upon efficacy and
tolerability.
➢In case of once daily dosing, 5 mg of
Tadalista can be administered once daily,
every day at about the same time without
regard to timing of sexual activity.

➢Tadalista (Generic Tadalafil Tablets)
improves erectile function compared to placebo
for up to 36 hours after taking the dose.
➢This drug cannot be taken more than once
in any 24 hour period. i.e. At least 24 hours
have to pass before taking your next dose.

Storage Instructions
Tadalista (Generic Tadalafil Tablets)
have to be stored at controlled room
temperature i.e. from 20°C to 25°C (68°F
to 77°F) with excursions permitted
between 15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F).
Keep this as well as all other medicines
away from children and pets.

Tadalista Warnings
Before starting any treatment for erectile dysfunction
with Tadalista tablets, Patients must remember that
they should not use Tadalafil tablets if sex is not
advisable due to cardiovascular status.
Patients should stop Tadalista and seek medical
attention in case a sudden loss of vision occurs in one
or both eyes, which could be a sign of Non Arteritic
Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (NAION).
Visual defects and cases of NAION have been
reported in connection with the administration of
Tadalista (Generic Tadalafil) and other PDE5 inhibitors
with an increased risk of NAION in patients with
history of NAION .

Tadalista Warnings
Use of Generic Tadalista with alpha
blockers, antihypertensives or
substantial amounts of alcohol (5 units or
more) may lead to hypotension.
Caution is advised when Tadalafil
tablets are used as a treatment for ED
in men taking alpha blockers.
In case taking potent inhibitors of
CYP3A4, dose must be adjusted:
Tadalista for use as needed: 10 mg
every 72 hours. For once daily use: dose
not to exceed 2.5 mg.

Tadalista Warnings
Patients should stop Tadalista and seek
immediate medical attention in the case
of sudden decrease or loss of hearing .
Patients must seek emergency
treatment if an erection lasts for more
than 4 hours.
Use Tadalista (Generic Tadalafil Tablets)
with caution in patients predisposed to
priapism.

Tadalista Tablets
Contraindications
Tadalista is contraindicated in patients with
a hypersensitivity to Tadalafil or any other
component of this medication.
Administration of Tadalista tablets to
patients using any form of organic nitrate is
contraindicated.
Tadalista (Generic Tadalafil Tablets) was
shown to increase the hypotensive effect
of nitrates.
Administration with guanylate cyclase (GC)
stimulators, such as Riociguat is
contraindicated.

Tadalista Side Effects
➢Common Tadalista side effects occurring in
2% or more of the patients undergoing treatment
with this medicine are headache, dyspepsia,
back pain, myalgia, nasal congestion, flushing,
and pain in limb. These side effects usually go
away after a few hours. Men who get back pain
and muscle aches usually get it 12 to 24 hours
after taking this medicine. Back pain and muscle
aches usually go away within 2 days.
➢Call your doctor in case you get any side effect
that bothers you or one that does not go away.

Tadalista Overdose
Single doses of Tadalafil (Tadalista
Tablets) up to 500 mg have been given to
healthy subjects, and multiple daily doses
up to 100 mg have been given to patients.
Adverse events were similar to those seen
at lower doses.
In cases of Tadalafil overdose, standard
supportive measures must be adopted as
required.

Tadalafil During Pregnancy
Tadalafil (Tadalista Tablets) has been
classified by the US FDA as Pregnancy
Category B.
Generic Tadalafil (Tadalista tablets) is not
indicated for use in women.
There are no adequate and well controlled
studies of Tadalafil tablets use in
pregnant women.
