Active Ingredient
The active ingredient contained in
Vidalista tablets is Tadalafil. Each film
coated Vidalista tablet contains 2.5 mg,
5 mg, 10 mg or 20 mg of Tadalafil.

Uses of Vidalista Tablets
Vidalista (manufactured by Centurion
Laboratories Private Limited, India) is used to
treat erectile dysfunction (ED), a medical
condition which is characterized by inability to
get or keep an erection, in men 18 years or
older.
Tadalafil belongs to a class of medicines called
phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors.
This medicine increases blood flow to the
penis, enabling an erection to occur when a
man is sexually stimulated.

Uses of Vidalista Tablets
Vidalista tablets (Generic Tadalafil) are also
used to treat the signs and symptoms of benign
prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and ED and the
signs and symptoms of BPH (ED/BPH) at the
same time.
Generic Tadalafil tablets are also used for the
treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension
(PAH) (WHO Group 1) to improve exercise
ability.

Vidalista Dosage
➢Vidalista Tablets must be swallowed whole, and
can be taken with or without food.
➢Starting Dose for Treatment of ED: 10 mg of
Vidalista as required before sexual activity.
➢The dosage may be increased to 20 mg or
decreased to 5 mg based upon efficacy and
tolerability.
➢In case of once daily dosing, 2.5 mg of Vidalista
can be administered once daily, every day at
about the same time without regard to timing of
sexual activity. The dose may increased to 5 mg
based upon efficacy and tolerability.
The dosage of Vidalista tablets (Generic
Tadalafil) is given below:

Vidalista Dosage
➢Vidalista (Generic Tadalafil Tablets) improves
erectile function compared to placebo for up to
36 hours after taking the dose.
➢This medicine cannot be taken more than
once in any 24 hour period in case of as
required ED dose. i.e. At least 24 hours have to
pass before taking your next dose.

Vidalista Dosage
➢Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): 5 mg,
taken at approximately the same time every
day.
➢ED and BPH: 5 mg, taken at approximately
the same time every day.
➢Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension: The
recommended dose of Tadalafil tablets is 40
mg (two 20 mg tablets) taken once daily with or
without food. Dividing the dose (40 mg) over
the course of the day is not recommended.

Storage Instructions
Vidalista (Generic Tadalafil Tablets)
have to be stored at controlled room
temperature i.e. from 20°C to 25°C (68°F
to 77°F) with excursions permitted
between 15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F).
Keep this as well as all other medicines
away from children and pets.

Vidalista Warnings
Before starting any treatment for erectile dysfunction
with Vidalista tablets, doctors must consider the
potential cardiac risk of sexual activity in patients with
preexisting cardiovascular disease.
Patients should stop Vidalista and seek medical
treatment in case a sudden loss of vision occurs in
one or both eyes, which could be a sign of Non
Arteritic Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (NAION).
Visual defects and cases of NAION have been
reported in connection with the administration of
Vidalista (Generic Tadalafil) and other PDE5 inhibitors
with an increased risk of NAION in patients with
history of NAION .

Vidalista Warnings
As with other PDE5 inhibitors, Tadalafil has
systemic vasodilatory properties that may result in
mild and transient decreases in blood pressure.
Before prescribing Vidalista tablets , doctors should
carefully consider whether their patients with
underlying cardiovascular disease could be affected
adversely by vasodilatory effects.
Use of Vidalista with alpha blockers,
antihypertensives or substantial amounts of alcohol
(5 units or more) may lead to hypotension.
Caution is advised when Tadalafil tablets are
used as a treatment for ED in men taking alpha
blockers.
In case taking potent inhibitors of CYP3A4, dose
must be adjusted.

Vidalista Tablets - Warnings
Patients should stop Vidalista tablets and
seek immediate medical assistance in the
case of sudden decrease or loss of hearing .
Patients who experience erections lasting 4
hours or more should be instructed to seek
immediate medical assistance. In case
priapism is not treated immediately, penile
tissue damage and permanent loss of
potency may result.
Use Vidalista (Generic Tadalafil Tablets)
with caution in patients predisposed to
priapism.

Vidalista Tablets
Contraindications
Vidalista tablets are contraindicated in patients
with a hypersensitivity to Tadalafil or any other
component of this medication.
Tadalafil potentiates the hypotensive effect of
nitrates. Therefore, coadministration of Vidalista
tablets and nitrates is contraindicated
Administration with guanylate cyclase (GC)
stimulators, such as Riociguat along with this
medicine is also contraindicated.

Vidalista Side Effects
➢Common Vidalista side effects occurring in
2% or more of the patients undergoing treatment
with this medicine are headache, dyspepsia,
back pain, myalgia, nasal congestion, flushing,
and pain in limb. These side effects usually go
away after a few hours. Men who get back pain
and muscle aches usually get it 12 to 24 hours
after taking this medicine. Back pain and muscle
aches usually go away within 2 days.
➢Call your doctor in case you get any side effect
that bothers you or one that does not go away.

Vidalista Side Effects
➢The other side effects of Vidalista (Generic
Tadalafil) are:
➢Nervous System – Common: dizziness
➢Special Senses – Uncommon: conjunctival
hyperaemia; sensations described as eye pain;
swelling of eyelids.
➢Eye Disorders – Rare: changes in colour
vision.
➢Ear and labyrinth disorders – Uncommon:
sudden decrease or loss of hearing

Vidalista Overdose
Single doses of Tadalafil (Vidalista
Tablets) up to 500 mg have been given to
healthy subjects, and multiple daily doses
up to 100 mg have been given to patients.
Adverse events were similar to those seen
at lower doses.
In cases of Tadalafil overdose, standard
supportive measures must be adopted as
required.

Tadalafil During Pregnancy
Tadalafil (Vidalista Tablets) has been classified by
the US FDA as Pregnancy Category B.
Generic Tadalafil (Vidalista tablets) is not
indicated for use in women.
There are no adequate and well controlled studies
of Tadalafil tablets use in pregnant women.
Animal studies have not revealed any evidence of
teratogenicity, embryotoxicity, or fetotoxicity when
given to pregnant rats or mice during
organogenesis, at exposure up to 11 times
maximum the recommended human dose
(MRHD).
