Welcome In India use of technology in education is making its stand. Today  students in India explore the web for one or another kind of help in their studies. They search videos of classroom lectures and study materials when they need, but is everything  available on the internet? Do they find an entire range of classroom videos for preparing any entrance exam? Do they find any website where an entire range of undergraduate and postgraduate programme videos are available in the same way as taught in the college? And even if they find such a service ,is it affordable to them? The answer is NO.  Classroom videos  in the internet are available like a star in the universe. If you want to watcha video lecture on web, then go on and search it , you will end up wasting your time in searching the right video or  have to pay hugely for it. There is no website in India which provides a wide range of classroom videos for entrance exam preparation at very low cost. Coaching for entrance exams is still a dream for many students. We have come with a solution for this problem. Our website will provide every thing students in India want and at lowest price. We will offer them all kinds of entrance exam preparation videos by renowned and qualified faculties along with this we will help them in their preparation by providing them with study material,  guidance, online doubt clearing sessions and online tests and in many more ways.
The Plan We will divide the website into two categories. One will contain entrance exam programmes and the other one will contain undergraduate and post graduate programmes. In the entrance exam section user will have to choose anyone of the exam he wishes to see the video of, from the list which will contain subsections of IIT JEE,CAT and other MBA entrance exams, GATE, AIEEE, BANK PO, Civil SERVICES, PSU’s, Recruitment tests, etc. which will further divided into topics as explained  in the figure The other section will contain videos  of undergraduate and postgraduate  programmes. This section will be further divided into subsections of different programmes like BE/Btech, BPharma, MBBS, BA, BSc,Bcom, MBA, MSc, Mtech, Mcom, etc. This design will help the students to search videos of  their choice very easily.
competition There is no such website available on the internet which provides  classroom videos of entrance exam. Though some institutes like Career point(for IIT-JEE), Educomp  solutions ltd.  Tcyonline.com are in this market but none of them provide classroom videos of all entrance exams under one roof and at low price to all students. When we will enter the  market we will be the sole player for classroom videos. Many of the videos are although available on youtube.com but not in a student friendly manner. For example If someone wants to see the videos of all the topics covered under CAT he has to waste lot of time searching it. So we will definitely have an advantage over our competitors. We will use low cost high sell business model in this industry which has never been used by any conventional coaching institute. Another  fact is that students know that watching the videos so many  times will help them to remember  the concepts for a long time, they will definitely go for it because the price will be affordable.
Revenue model Our primary source of revenue will come from entrance exam section. We will sell our services at lowest price ranging from 300-1000 INR depending upon different programmes. Every year more than 10 lacs student take AIEEE, around 3lacs IIT ,around 2.5 lacs CAT, and many more students take other exams like GATE, PSUs, BANK PO, CIVIL SERVICES, etc We will also sell our services to different colleges for a fixed period of time. Revenue will start coming from advertisement on our website once we are settled in the market and to make this happen we will provide the videos of undergraduate programmes for free of cost which will help us to get maximum number of hits and subsequently advertisements.
SALES and MARKETING Sales and marketing will be done through local and national news papers because our customers are students  who read one or other kind of news papers regularly. Apart from this we will give contract to a marketing company for promoting and selling our product in every school and college across India at an offer of 10-15% share per enrollment. Again the customers we are dealing with have an orkut or a facebook account so we will advertise our self in these websites also.
Financial Projections This business will require capital for two different parts. The first one will involve investment on making video lectures which is  a one time investment. The cost of making video lectures will be between 1000-3000 per video  depending upon the faculty and negotiations done during the deal with faculties and we will start with around 15oo videos initially. The second part involved investment on Web development ,an office with a staff of 15-20 people initially, sales and marketing of the product and working capital for at least 15 -20 months. That will be around 25-30 lacs. We will sell the products at very low price between 300-1000 INR. I believe we will start making profit after two years when we will have enough videos and contents in our website. Since the cost of making a video is a one time investment and working capital is less, so our profit % will increase by the time.

  • 1. Welcome In India use of technology in education is making its stand. Today students in India explore the web for one or another kind of help in their studies. They search videos of classroom lectures and study materials when they need, but is everything available on the internet? Do they find an entire range of classroom videos for preparing any entrance exam? Do they find any website where an entire range of undergraduate and postgraduate programme videos are available in the same way as taught in the college? And even if they find such a service ,is it affordable to them? The answer is NO. Classroom videos in the internet are available like a star in the universe. If you want to watcha video lecture on web, then go on and search it , you will end up wasting your time in searching the right video or have to pay hugely for it. There is no website in India which provides a wide range of classroom videos for entrance exam preparation at very low cost. Coaching for entrance exams is still a dream for many students. We have come with a solution for this problem. Our website will provide every thing students in India want and at lowest price. We will offer them all kinds of entrance exam preparation videos by renowned and qualified faculties along with this we will help them in their preparation by providing them with study material, guidance, online doubt clearing sessions and online tests and in many more ways.
  • 2. The Plan We will divide the website into two categories. One will contain entrance exam programmes and the other one will contain undergraduate and post graduate programmes. In the entrance exam section user will have to choose anyone of the exam he wishes to see the video of, from the list which will contain subsections of IIT JEE,CAT and other MBA entrance exams, GATE, AIEEE, BANK PO, Civil SERVICES, PSU’s, Recruitment tests, etc. which will further divided into topics as explained in the figure The other section will contain videos of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. This section will be further divided into subsections of different programmes like BE/Btech, BPharma, MBBS, BA, BSc,Bcom, MBA, MSc, Mtech, Mcom, etc. This design will help the students to search videos of their choice very easily.
  • 3. competition There is no such website available on the internet which provides classroom videos of entrance exam. Though some institutes like Career point(for IIT-JEE), Educomp solutions ltd. Tcyonline.com are in this market but none of them provide classroom videos of all entrance exams under one roof and at low price to all students. When we will enter the market we will be the sole player for classroom videos. Many of the videos are although available on youtube.com but not in a student friendly manner. For example If someone wants to see the videos of all the topics covered under CAT he has to waste lot of time searching it. So we will definitely have an advantage over our competitors. We will use low cost high sell business model in this industry which has never been used by any conventional coaching institute. Another fact is that students know that watching the videos so many times will help them to remember the concepts for a long time, they will definitely go for it because the price will be affordable.
  • 4. Revenue model Our primary source of revenue will come from entrance exam section. We will sell our services at lowest price ranging from 300-1000 INR depending upon different programmes. Every year more than 10 lacs student take AIEEE, around 3lacs IIT ,around 2.5 lacs CAT, and many more students take other exams like GATE, PSUs, BANK PO, CIVIL SERVICES, etc We will also sell our services to different colleges for a fixed period of time. Revenue will start coming from advertisement on our website once we are settled in the market and to make this happen we will provide the videos of undergraduate programmes for free of cost which will help us to get maximum number of hits and subsequently advertisements.
  • 5. SALES and MARKETING Sales and marketing will be done through local and national news papers because our customers are students who read one or other kind of news papers regularly. Apart from this we will give contract to a marketing company for promoting and selling our product in every school and college across India at an offer of 10-15% share per enrollment. Again the customers we are dealing with have an orkut or a facebook account so we will advertise our self in these websites also.
  • 6. Financial Projections This business will require capital for two different parts. The first one will involve investment on making video lectures which is a one time investment. The cost of making video lectures will be between 1000-3000 per video depending upon the faculty and negotiations done during the deal with faculties and we will start with around 15oo videos initially. The second part involved investment on Web development ,an office with a staff of 15-20 people initially, sales and marketing of the product and working capital for at least 15 -20 months. That will be around 25-30 lacs. We will sell the products at very low price between 300-1000 INR. I believe we will start making profit after two years when we will have enough videos and contents in our website. Since the cost of making a video is a one time investment and working capital is less, so our profit % will increase by the time.
