- This is our Agenda Today we will discuss about Bharat skill portal with respect to following points ` 1. First we will see the Rationale Behind Bharat Skill portal What is BSP, Why we need BSP, Who are all can utilise this BSP 2. Integrated with Blended Learning We are going to see what is blended training, how BL is integrated in BSP. 3. How to access BSP. 4. Stack holders of Bharat skill Portal 5 sections, they are CTS, CITS, Apprenticeship, BL for ITI. finally ToT on BL. 5. Important Links on Bharat skills I will brief out the important links, i.e DGT collaborated with many MNC like IBM, Microsoft, SAP, Cisco, Accenture & Quest Alliance, Adobe India, and many more, what is their contribution, how our ITI students can utilise and benefited, we will see in detail in a couple of minute 6. - What is Bharat skill portal : (3 M) We all know that Directorate General of Training (DGT), under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), is responsible for implementing long term institutional training to the nation’s youth through its network of NSTI (National skill training institutes and its infrastructure. It plays a key role in the execution of vocational training schemes and in making ‘Digital India’ dream become a reality. You might ask Why we Need Bharat skill portal : DGT decided to bring all BL material required for CTS, CITS, Apprenticeship should be available at One place- as a common repository , should be available to the students for 24 x 7 under one single platform. Stundents Can access, anywhere, anytime, and through any device. System / Laptop / Tablet / Mobile. DGT created BSP to address the current skills gap in the country. DGT collaborated with so many Technology Giant companies like IBM, Microsoft, SAP India, Cisco Systems India Pvt. Ltd., Accenture Solutions and Quest Alliance, Adobe India, and many more, (and bring the skills required )with their support, impart the skills and make the students to become industry-ready. IBM provides Artificial Intelligence, Cloud computing, and CISCO ‘s CCNA course all are costly to study and now it is absolutely free for our ITI students. Who can utilise this Bharat skill portal : BSP provides learning content mainly for CTS, CITS, apprenticeship and ITI blended learning as well as ToT Blended learning Not only Trainees, Trainers and Administrators and also Entrepreuners, Employers can utilize this Bharat skill portal. We will discuss in detail. Even in the current scenario of the continuous impact of COVID-19, the ITI trainees and trainers continue to learn and upgrade their knowledge and skills being stay safe.
- Now we will see how well the blended learning technology is integrated with BSP, Before that, we will just recall the salient points of blended learning explained by shri Rajasekar sir during the introduction session. So, What is blended learning? Blended learning is an approach to education that combines online educational materials and opportunities for interaction online along with traditional place-based classroom methods achieve through video conferencing softwares. NIMI uses Zoom as one of the VC sw for its online classes conducted by the Rockstar Instructors of NSTI and also state ITI instructors. This is what happened during pandemic situations, From March 2020, lot of Educational institutes were used the Video Conferemcing softwares like Zoom, Google meet, Zoho Show time, Cisco Webex, and Microsoft Teams . Later, you will see video conferencing softwares in detail in the successive session. Video conferencing is not only communication tool also offer screen sharing, slideshow, recording, u can chat through instant messaging, project management tools, tracking student performance, attendance tracking, Marks.
