Final evaluation

Company name and logo fin
Crystal Bukenya created a logo for her company CB Productions. She chose the initials CB as the company name to reflect her own initials in a simple way as she is the only member. The logo features the initials in navy blue text curved around a blue sphere shape, matching her blog's theme colors. She is pleased with how the logo improves the appearance of her blog layout.
Final screenshots

Cried Wolf: Evaluation

The lighting in the office is low-key to create a dull, boring mood. As the plot develops and the character's nature changes from hard worker to thief, the lighting gets even darker. The color correction uses blues and greens for a "blockbuster look" that adds to the low-key lighting and creates a sinister, mysterious atmosphere fitting for the narrative.
SUBWFR: Evaluation
Michael created a magazine for the dubstep genre that challenged conventions by tailoring designs specifically for dubstep rather than copying other genres. The layout and color scheme of red and black were meant to represent the energetic nature of dubstep and its mainly Caucasian fan base. The magazine would be distributed by IPC Media since they distribute similar rock magazines. The target audience is middle class 16-25 year old Caucasians who could afford the £2.50 price and are most interested in dubstep music and culture.
SUBWFR: Contents Page Production Log

SUBWFR Logo Production Log
- 1. SUBWFR Logo Production Log Michael Kiggundu
- 2. Having created a new document in Adobe Photoshop, I decided to add guidelines 300px apart so that whatever I created on that document would be aligned properly, making the logo look as neat as possible.
- 3. After doing that, I created a black circle which took up approximately half of the page. This will be the background for the word ‘SUB’.
- 4. Here I am typing in the word SUB over the black circle which was created earlier. I decided to write it in white at this stage because I am going to place it close to the right edge of the circle; with it being white, it will help me see when it begins to go over the edge of the circle and onto the white background which I do not want to happen.
- 5. I have changed the word yellow as I believe that it this will immediately catch the eye of the reader and will make them remember the logo in their head. This colour will be changed according to each magazine issue but the original colour of the word ‘SUB’ in the logo will remain yellow.
- 6. I have written the rest of the word, WFR, on the other half of the document in black so that it looks like it is joined to the black circle. I also made it overlap the word SUB so that it looks like it is popping out of the circle over the word SUB.
- 7. Because I am happy with that logo, I then converted into shapes and copied the three elements of the logo that I created in Photos
- 8. THE FINAL LOGO I think that this logo is simplistic and effective and gets the feeling of my magazine across well. I also think that it will fit in perfectly with my magazine cover and will be one of the main focus points.
