Michael Kiggundu created guidelines in Photoshop to help align elements in a new logo. He drew a black circle taking up half the page to serve as the background for the word "SUB" written in white. Later, he changed "SUB" to yellow to catch the reader's eye. He added "WFR" in black, overlapping "SUB" to look like it was popping out of the circle. Satisfied with the design, he finalized the logo and felt it simplistically and effectively represented his magazine.
