1. When I started off
creating the contents
page, I had not yet
replaced the
background image of
the front cover to the
one that made it to the
final edit.
Hence, my original
idea for the cover
was meant to be
extremely simple
and bare, while
matching the theme
of the cover in terms
of color scheme and
font style.

2. I added some lines
and a gradient
from the top, to
make it look a little
less boring.

3. At this point, I
changed the
background image
of the contents
page to something
that would match
the updated front
cover picture
However, some color
correction would be
necessary, due to the
lack of visibility of the
text, as well as to
make it match the
color scheme of the
front cover.

4. This was the result of
a color overlay, with
the opacity turned
down, as well as
changes in
brightness, hue, and
saturation of the
background image.

5. I felt that the image could be made a little
more vibrant, so that the reds may ‘pop out’
a little. To achieve this, and also for the sake
of easier readability of the text, a few final
adjustments were made to the background
image, and it was done!
