This document summarizes the Case Competition program run by Seattle Public Schools to engage students at their Academies of Finance, Health, and Information Technology. The competition involves students researching and presenting solutions to Harvard case studies. It has grown from a pilot in 2007 involving one school to a large-scale event in 2009 with 170 students from all three academies. The competition aims to develop students' presentation, teamwork and problem-solving skills while enhancing relationships with the local university and businesses. Feedback from participants has been positive about the rigorous learning experience and opportunities to network.
