Editor's Notes

  • #2 Can you please put the names in here Kari?
  • #3 Located in downtown Lansing 26,000 students enrolled/year 3rd largest cc in MI 262 degree & certificate programs 1,200+ courses 500 full-time staff & faculty 1,800 part-time staff & faculty
  • #6 3,622 total students impacted
  • #7 Figure based on savings if students purchased the new edition of the textbook -- saving $530,871 since fall 2015 I also track figures based on $100 multiplier as well as the OpenStax calculation of $98.57 per student Total savings: $530,871
  • #10 Too few students ever graduate – even fewer on time. Students earn unnecessary credits. Billions of dollars and millions of hours are wasted on unnecessary courses.
  • #11 Clarify paths to student end goals Program maps
  • #13 We applied for the ATD Z-Degree grant this year but unfortunately didn’t get it. However, our Provost encouraged us to push through with this even without the grant so we’re still going to do it.
