This document reports on a study that examined students' readiness and use of information and communication technology (ICT) for educational purposes. It collected data through questionnaires from 243 students across 6 secondary schools. The study found that most students owned mobile phones and used them for activities like social media, games and music. Students were willing to spend under RM30 monthly on mobile bills and perceived future educational uses of mobile technology positively. The document concludes that ESL teachers should integrate ICT into their teaching to create engaging lessons, develop students' thinking, and promote lifelong learning.
