St Paul's Cathedral in London is one of the most famous and recognizable landmarks in the city. Sir Christopher Wren designed St Paul's in the Baroque style after the Great Fire of London destroyed the previous cathedral. At 365 feet tall with its iconic dome, St Paul's was the tallest building in London from 1710 to 1962. Some key features include the Whispering Gallery that runs around the base of the dome, the Corinthian columns, and the two towers that rise up 221 feet at the western end.
