Some Indicators for Learning Difficulties as related to Self-Concept
in a Sample of KG children in Saudi Arabia
Abstract:
The study aimed at defining distribution rates of learning difficulty
indices in kindergarten Saudi children, finding out about differences
between males and females as related to the child’s self-concept. Using
frequencies, percentages, Mann-Whitney test and t-test, findings
indicated that children in kindergarten in Saudi Arabia are dispersed on
learning difficulty indices. There were found no significant differences
between males and females thereof. But there were found a statistically
significant difference between children with learning difficulty indices
and others with no learning difficulty indices on self-concept in favour of
children having no such indices.
