My Story is called “Underwater Adventure”.
The Planning Process:
I chose to write a fantasy and adventure genre because I like to read
adventure books like “The Time Warp Trio”. And I chose fantasy
because I wanted to make animaginative movie. The most interesting
thing about my main character is it has friends that are
troublemakers. While making my plot diagram, I found it difficult to
write because our group needs to shareideas but we didn’t so we
couldn’t write easily.My best idea during planning was to make the
poisonous octopus capture Dolline’s friends.While planning this story
I learnedabout teamwork.
The Drafting & Revising Processes:
It was enjoyable to write my story draft because I searched for a lot
of ideas and words in the Internet and in books.I am proud of my
story because our group gave a lot of ideas.During the Writing
Workshops, I learned how to use dialogue and onomatopoeia.
While talking to Jacqueline Harvey, I learned that she has been
writing stories from when she was really young to now.If I wrote it
again, I would try to improve my story by using more interesting and
remarkable words.
Digital Production and Editing:
I am proud of my movie because I give a lot of ideas for it.I found it
enjoyable to create the storyboard becauseour group didn’t have any
problems with this part.My role was to be the scriptwriter. I worked
especially hard at writing.The thing I am most happy with is
narrating.While making the movie, I learned many new technology
skills in iMovie. I became much better at make movies in iMovie.
Collaboration:
Sometimes, I enjoyed group work because we laughed and enjoyed
making our movie.Other times, I didn’t enjoy group work because we
argued sometimes.While working in a group, I learned teamwork.
During the unit, our group became better at working together.
What else?
During this story-telling unit I especially enjoyed making movie. After
this unit, I will continue to make movies and work on my writing.
