1. Story-telling Reflection
My Story is called Alien’s Attack
The Planning Process:
I chose to write anadventure genre because me and Benedict first chose
action but Geon Woo was the only one who chose adventure then we were
thinking for story and we did think that story was adventurous so we just
made it adventure.The most interesting thing about my main characters is
that they were brave and liked to read & search the internetabout the aliens.
We chose to the set the story in New York city because in our group every one
likes New York. While making my plot diagram, I found it difficult because it
was to hard to think about a plot in each step.My best idea during planning
was to make the characters because when we were making the characters we
were writing things about them, like they were interested in aliens so we
made a story about them and about aliens.While planning this story I learned
that putting pictures with music makes it better.
The Drafting & Revising Processes:
It was enjoyablewriting my story draft. I am proud of my story because it was
my best writing. During publishing, I learned how that commandz means
undo I became better at typing fast.While talking to Jacqueline Harvey, I
learned that when a author writes a story it takes 6months to write. If I wrote
it again, I would try to improve my story by making it more interesting and
putting in more details.
Digital Production and Editing:
I am proud of my movie because we did a lot of work and it was fun putting in
sound effects.I found it enjoyableto make the storyboard because it was like
really fun making decisions. My role was to be the illustrator because I was
not herefor the script writing or sound engineering. While making the movie,
I learned many new technology skills in iMovie. I became much better at put
knowing effects and putting music with pictures.If I made the movie again, I
would try to do better color on the pictures and edit carefully.
Collaboration:
Sometimes, I enjoyed group work because people helped us and our movie
became really good.Other times, I didn’t enjoy group work because we all had
different choices. While working in a group, I learned how to cooperate and
trust.During the unit, our group became better atknowing about stories and
using iMovie.
