Saturn V Rocket Essay
The research that I have done is about a space station with a design based off of the Saturn V rocket
that I have made. During this paper i will talk about its background, the parts, how it works and how it
is different from the ISS (International Space Station). The Saturn V rocket has 3 stages in its launch.
The first stage carries around 203,400 gallons (770,000 liters) of kerosene fuel and 318,000 gallons
(1.2 million liters) of liquid oxygen needed for combustion. At liftoff the F 1 rocket engines produces
7.5 million pounds of thrust. The Saturn V rocket was a rocket that used the tallest and heaviest rocket
for low earth orbit (LEO). It was launched 13 times with no loss of crew or payload. The Saturn V was
designed under the direction ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Saturn V rockets used for the Apollo missions had three stages. Each stage would burn its engines
until it was out of fuel and would then separate from the rocket. The engines on the next stage would
fire, and the rocket would continue into space. The first stage had the most powerful engines, since it
had the challenging task of lifting the fully fueled rocket off the ground. The first stage lifted the
rocket to an altitude of about 68 kilometers or 42 miles. The second stage carried it from there almost
into orbit. The third stage placed the Apollo spacecraft into Earth orbit and pushed it toward the moon.
The first two stages fell into the ocean after separation. The third stage either stayed in space or hit the
moon. Now we will talk about how fast the Saturn V rocket can go. In order for the Saturn V rocket to
break free of the Earth s gravitational pull, it will need to travel approximately 7 miles per second. The
fastest speed obtained by a manned vehicle orbiting the moon to Earth in 1969 is 11.08km/s or 24,791
miles per hour. After the launch the Saturn V burned for almost 6 minutes giving it a velocity close to
the Earth s escape velocity of 11.2 km/s or 25,053 miles per

Nationally Specific Attitudes of Dental Students towards HIV Infected Patients by Hossein Taheri
Introduction This study began with a perusal of the American Dental Association s website, ADA

followed their tracking of the need for research in the area. I engage, both socially and academically,

The immune system responds to the perceived threat by releasing histamines.
Histamines produce many different reactions including respiratory and nasal congestion, mucus
production, headaches, skin rushes and welts.
If there is actual threat, these reactions will form a line of defense against the invader,(allergens) to
stop and expel it.
You can rely on home remedies for allergies to prevent this reaction to perceived threats.

When the body breaks down food, it turns it into tiny molecules that are not seen as a threat.
However a developing situation known as leaky gut can cause big molecules of food to enter the

This then reaches the liver which sees them as toxin and waste energy. It tries to tackle them, but it

Kingdom Of Israel Essay
Following the United Monarchy separating into two different nations the Kingdom of Israel,
sometimes referred to as Samaria, existed with nineteen kings for two hundred and seven years from
928 to 721BC. Consisting of ten of the twelve tribes Reuben, Simeon, Issachar, Zebulun, Dan,
Naphtali, Gad, Ash, Ephraim and Manasseh. The Kingdom of Israel became weakened after the
breakup of the United Monarchy which the Egyptians take advantage of in 925BC when they invaded
and made the Kingdom of Israel a vassal nation of Egypt followed by the Kingdom of Ammon which
gains its independence from the Kingdom of Israel. Jeroboam I the first king of the Kingdom of Israel
from 928 to 907BC, created worship centers in the cities of Bethel and Dan and encouraged the people
to return to their worshipping of pagan deities such as El, Asherah, Baal and Dagan from the

Hoshea, king from 732BC to 723BC, decides to stop paying tribute to Assyria ending with

Barriers And Challenges To Pursue Of Gender Equality
Although gender equality has continued to drastically improve over the years, a glass ceiling still
exists. Recent research continues to illustrate that the barriers that professional females face in today s
society is tremendous. While the barriers and challenges that professional women face is well
documented, it is also critical to evaluate the perceptions of those barriers held by women. In
education, men often hold leadership positions. Statistically, superintendents almost always come
from teaching backgrounds. When the majority of teachers are female, it is intriguing to ask why the
male teaching population tends to be of the select few who ultimately rise to higher leadership
positions. According to Wallace (2015), the proportion of females in the superintendency was 23% in
2012 and increases by only 0.7% annually. This statistic is shocking, as it would take approximately
80 years for females to be proportionately represented in public school leadership. It is critical to
assess the barriers and challenges females face in regards to leadership attainment. There are certainly
internal and external factors that continue to plague this gender discrepancy. Furthermore,
proportional inequities continue to stem from historical contexts ranging from social and cultural
norms to professional networks. Additionally, gender bias and sexism challenges continue to plague
female authority figures. While there are many variables contributing to the shockingly low

The Buddha Vairocana And Buddhism
Buddhism was introduced into Japan in Nara Period through Korea, with only some scripts in Chinese
writing. At the time, Japanese find their country in lack of civilization like writing and cultural
religion. By sending people to China to accept more doctrine from foreign countries, different
Buddhism schools are developed later in time. During the end of Heian Period, one of the popular sect
is dedicated to Shingon, which is established by a monk named Kukai . Buddha Vairocana is one of
many Buddhas revered by this particular sects of esoteric Buddhism, also among the Chinese school
of Hua Yen(华严). This essay will be focusing on the Buddha Vairocana, the meaning behind this
Sanskrit name, his wisdom and doctrine and his characteristic Mudra (hand gesture, a major practice
in esoteric Buddhism) will be explained. The essence on how this Buddha is introduced into Japan,
along with traditions and activities that are relevant to Buddhism in general will be also stated in this
essay.
Shingon, (Japanese: True Word ) a branch of Vajrayana (Tantric, or Esoteric) Buddhism is one of the
three main schools of Buddhism in Asia, most widely practiced today in Tibet. In Vajrayana
Buddhism, the concept of Five Dhyani Buddhas (Skt. for concentration ), also known as the Five
Wisdom Buddhas, are representations of the five wisdom aspects of Buddha. With Amitabha
presented in the West, Vairocana sits at the centre turning the Wheel of Dharma (teaching). (Vairocana,

The Evolution of the American Television Family Essay
The Evolution of the American Television Family Television is not just a form of entertainment, but it
is an excellent form of study of society s view concerning its families. This study focuses on the
history of television beginning in the early 1950s and will run through present day. It examines the use
of racial, ethnic and sexual stereotypes to characterize the players of these shows. The examples assist
in tracing what has happened to the depiction of the American family on prime time television. It
reveals the change of the standards employed by network television as disclosed to the American
public. Finally, I will propose the question of which is the influential entity, television or the viewing

Cunningham family was the primary family featured on the program.
The view of the American family modified little when the sixties arrived. Leave it to Beaver
dominated television through 1963. In 1961, the Dick Van Dyke Show aided in reinforcing the
flawless family image. Some viewers thought Rob and Laura Petire were visibly similar to the first
family, John and Jackie Kennedy. The highly successful series Bewitched further developed the
perception of an immaculate suburbia. The identical condition developed by the Ward and Petire
families was operative in the Stephens family.
Each television household featured a working father, affectionate mother, and attentive children. Each
family was a middle class family and all financially secure. They each resided in secure households,
which were in carefree urban areas. The morality displayed between the parents was commendable
and sacred.
The finest depiction of the American family living in the 1960s came twenty years later. The Wonder
Years, which debuted on January 31, 1988, exhibited the best portraiture of a middle class family in
distinction to the 1960s. The Arnold family featured a struggling urban household. The parents were

Suicide In Dido s Lament By Mark Morris
Dido s Lament , choreographed by Mark Morris, is an emotional dance theatre piece that illustrates
the tale of Queen Dido, a character from the opera Dido and Aeneas, who prepares to commit suicide
after feeling betrayed by Aeneas, a man with whom she fell in love with. Because the character that
Morris is portraying is preparing to commit suicide due to being heartbroken, Morris wanted to
translate this tragic and moving concept of suicide through not only his movement phrases, but
through the dark setting created onstage by the performers as well. As the title suggests, the word
lament , as well as the concept of suicide and despair, were the main elements on which Morris built
the dance piece on. Through the dark ambiance and slow, dramatic movements onstage, Morris
expresses to the audience through story how emotional grief, inner conflict, and sadness are.
Mark Morris formed the Mark Morris Dance Group in 1980, and was famous for the power of his
dancing and the musicality he chose to utilize with his performances, while still being graceful and
delicate. His ability to technically express the messages he aimed to convey made his performances
captivating. Morris performed in both Dance Theatre and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Not all pleasures are created equal. So in the case of how to spend a billion dollars of government
money, a new school for one thousand children is the more moral choice . Buying one million ice
cream cones for one million children may bring them the most pleasure in that moment, but for the
long term it raises the least amount of happiness and pleasure. In the long run a school will bring more
pleasure and happiness. By providing a place for children to learn and grow they will have more

And for each of us they are different. But we all have two kinds, two categories. The simple pleasures,
like bubblegum for the brain. It doesn t engage you, not really, but it occupies you. And the need for
deeper pleasures, one that engages more of your facets. People need to be challenged so they can grow
and feel whole. Many higher pleasures engage you in a deeper academic aspects, they make you think
and wonder they leave you different then you were when you began. Hence why learning would be
much more beneficial then trying for diabetes. While ice cream makes you feel good, releases
endorphins and makes you happy, education makes you feel good in a completely different way. Self
esteem, confidence, assurance , belonging these are emotions that are probably rarely found while

pleasure much deeper than simply feeling good . While you can describe them both the same way you
feeling good only one is rooted much deeper. One connects with your soul, the other is merely
physical.
But that brings us to a different argument entirely. Who s to say what pleasure means more to

Quotes On Change Analysis

on change says it all. Quote On Change From In the Spirit Of Happiness In order to change our
consciousness, we need to experience and learn (the teachers). And I ve found that while we can have
many moments (or teachers) in life, it usually takes one big moment to really teach us the lesson that
helps us change. For instance, you may get a lot of lessons in life, in a lot of different ways, about how
important it is to follow your passions. But being diagnosed with a serious illness may be the final

Mindfulness Meditation and The Reduction of Anxiety
Mindfulness Meditation and The Reduction of Anxiety
Mindfulness meditation is a form of meditation that has been prevalent for thousands of years, and is
only becoming increasingly more popular. Over the past decade, neuroscientists like myself have
become increasingly interested in studying how meditation affects the brain and body. The number of
studies conducted per year in this new field of contemplative science is rising exponentially, with
more than 200 studies published last year alone, (Hasenkamp). It s a form of meditation in which a
person builds a practice of awareness, intentionally focuses their attention on the present moment, and
accepts whatever the present moment brings, without any judgment.

The majority of study participants reported decreases in anxiety. Researchers found that meditation
reduced anxiety ratings by as much as 39 percent. (Beck and Davis)
The direct effect that focusing the mind on the present moment has on reducing anxiety and its
symptoms are largely important. The idea of not controlling one s thoughts, but redirecting them to the
present moment is a fairly hard concept for most people to fully understand. Redirecting one s
thoughts to the present moment distracts the mind from any worry some or anxiety inducing thoughts
or feelings, without giving attention to them. The redirection of thoughts essentially keeps the mind
occupied, which means the mind has less time to spend worrying or cultivating anxiety inducing
scenarios in one s mind.
In relation to the redirection of thoughts being effective in reducing anxiety, it also has been proven to
reduce physical symptoms of anxiety or discomfort. By reverting attention away from pre existing
physical discomforts, these same discomforts are given time to subside, which they typically do
immensely, solely because it isn t the focus of one s attention. Some experts believe that mindfulness
works, in part, by helping people to accept their experiences including painful emotions rather than
react to them with aversion and

Canadian Identity And Culture Essay
Canadian identity and history is grounded in the culture and the traditions of the Aboriginal peoples.
Popularly known as being the first inhabitants of Canada, Aboriginals strive to enrich the country s
cultural mosaic through their existence and thus are an integral part of this nation. Although
Aboriginals are deemed as an important part of the Canadian social fabric today, history (past and
present) documents a contrasting image to this ideology where it is coloured by the economic, social,
and physical hardships of Aboriginal societies in Canada. Scarred by the social and racial injustices of
the past, Aboriginal education is a major continuing issue with regards to minority education in
Canada. According to J. P. White and Dan Beavon (2009), Aboriginal educational attainment lags

through the telling of stories and legends that First Nations people preserve what is most important to
them language, traditions, culture, and identity. Stories are used to provide a sociocultural and
historical account of the community knowledge from elders to youth, ensuring its survival with new
generations (p. 150). Many Aboriginal students find it difficult to learn and grasp concepts due to the

Diversity In Downtown Areas
The vision for downtown districts will vary from city to city; however, there are a number of policies
in place to help preserve and provide affordable housing for low income at risk populations
throughout downtown districts. Therefore, the vision for downtown districts should always include
some sort of diversity of incomes. Diversity should always be a key component and downtown
managers, leaders, and developers are committed to providing and building homes that are reasonably
priced. Low income housing is generally defined as housing affordable to households that make below
50 percent of the area median income. In many instances this means that these individuals will receive
public subsidies, or either direct payment goes to the project owner through vouchers and certificates.

there are several contradictions. In one breath, the downtown district is suitable for certain classes of
people which make a clear distinction between what the downtown district considers healthy and
unhealthy. As a social worker this raises some red flags for me. This leads me to believe that a certain
classes of people are preferred and accepted. They may be low income but they are still preferred
because they are considered the working class, and to hear that the concept of affordability shifts as
the economy shifts is disheartening. So I can see that the vision will include diversity among incomes;

After observing the novel Brave New World along with an article titled, Catholic Church Corrupt To
Its Core, Says Survivor one can conjure the idea that human nature will always persevere. Since the
birth of mankind this concept has been instilled in the minds of people. It is the nature of humanity to
feel uncontrollable emotions and feelings that promote certain actions. This ranges from undergoing a
state of overwhelming rage to possessing a heightened amount of fear to becoming engulfed in
jealousy. These are undeniable traits of humans as seen in Brave New World because of the key
figures in the novel that despite Hypnopædia and childhood conditioning, enact elements of innate
emotions. When viewing Bernard Marx, one sees that he is different from the other Alphas and quite
frankly, the rest of the population. He continuously experiences jealousy of Henry Foster s intimacy
with Lenina and sadness that his physical shape is deformed. From birth, children become conditioned
to be happy and not to experience these emotions since it could potentially cause social instability. No
matter the amount of soma Bernard consumes, he always finds a way to come back to these strong
desires of love and depression. The reader can also observe Helmholtz Watson s ambition to write
rhymes that have more significant and influential meaning. Watson was predestined to cease from
thinking about creating literature that disrupts society as he expresses, ...I ve got something important

this or the computer displays in the Hall of Vert Life. Coelacanth was supposed to have extinct but in
reality it still exist. Unlike any other fish they have fins round and fleshy. Their scales are very hard
like a bone and a tail unlike any existing fish. They also possessed four fleshy fins which extend
outwards like limbs and arrange in alternating pattern. The movement of their paired fins is like the
movement of forelegs and hind legs of tetrapod moving on land. Coelacanth also has intracranial joint
and hinge in the skull which enables them to open their mouth very wide for consumption of very big
prey. Coelacanths have a notochord which is filled with oil with a hollow tube with pressure which

Taco Bell Analysis
You know that moment someone says Let s go get Burger King!
Yeah, me neither. If you don t like Taco Bell, you re wrong. From Cinnabon delights to ooey gooey
cheesy bites; Taco Bell has it all. (And I m not talking about just their food!) Here are four reasons
why Taco Bell can replace your significant other.
#1: Free Tacos? I think yes.
According to spaceref article, Free Tacos for U.S. If Mir Hits Floating Taco Bell Ocean Target The
author states, Taco Bell is offering a free taco to everyone in the United States if the core of the Mir
space station hits a floating Taco Bell target placed in the South Pacific. In March 2001 Taco Bell
painted their logo in the middle of the 40x40 foot flotation device, surrounded by target rings and Free
Taco Here painted in big purple letters. If the Mir would have hit the target, coupon distribution,
redemption and offer details would have been made available to consumers on the Taco Bell Web site.
Taco Bell has purchased an insurance policy to cover the anticipated cost of the free taco redemption
if the core of Mir would have hit the target. Sadly the Mir landed off course near Chile and America
was devastated.
If your significant other wouldn t offer everyone in America a free taco then who else will? (Totally
not Taco Bell...)
#2: You can get married at the Las Vegas Taco Bell location!
Yes, you read that right. Starting August 7th, 2017, The Taco Bell location in las vegas is saying I do
to any willing lovers.

By completing or participating these tasks, individuals could get jobs, financial rewards, knowledge or
experience.(2012)This definition will be further confirmed in following discussion on application
examples.
As mentioned in many literature, crowdsourcing can be used in many approaches, such as idea
generation. Creation, development and idea exchanges are very abstracted; idea generation includes
the construction of ideas, innovative ideas, development process and implementation the idea into
reality. There are two ways of Idea generation through crowdsourcing, idea competition and ideation
with collective intelligence (Moketer Hossain). Idea competition is company asks many people to
contribute new ideas for the company through crowdsourcing, company will choose the best one and
reward to the person. Ideation with collective intelligence refers to ideation with continuous
interactions between firms and crowds. Like Poetz and Schreier (2012) said, idea come from crowds
sometimes far beyond the company can think. Also as Surowiecki (2005) mentioned, the collective
efforts from a number of innovative individuals often better than rely on some experts.
Microtasking is a process that split a large task into many small tasks and publishes on the Internet.
Microtasking is defined as the system that users can choose and complete small tasks with or without
monetary rewards (Kittur, 2008). The birth of microtasking allows any person make

A Debate Between Oedipus and Socrates on the Role of Fate
Background
A very important debate that runs in our society is the role of fate in the life of a person. Many
philosophers have chosen to highlight the importance of fate while many others, especially those with
a scientific bent of mind, have chosen to ignore the role of fate. Many people, especially scientists,
believe that fate is non existent and that a man writes his won destiny. They believe that a man s
industry creates his fate and that there are other forces that determine the progression of his life. They
cite the lives of great men and women, who had defied fate and had made a name for themselves in
the society. They believe that a person must use his skills and his resources and fight against all odds
to become successful in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Fate is only an imaginary belief that society and culture has bestowed on us. If we look at the origin of
humans, we cans see that there was nothing like fate. Man lived his life according to instincts and
completed his life cycle as his instincts told him to do so. When culture and civilizations made their
mark in the world, they unfortunately also brought in a lot of limitation that has always strived to hold
us back. Fate is one such belief that seeks to restrain us and keep us tied to what the society needs out
of us.
Oedipus: Sir, I beg to differ. The course of my life will always show you that I have lived all my life in
fear of my fate. At every turn of my life, I have tried to avoid the prophecy that always hung above my
head. For example, I ran away from my foster parents during my childhood years fearing that the
prophecy of killing my father and marrying my mother would become true. And look what happened.
Fate eventually took me to my parents and with the help of my ill fated luck I fought and won against
my own father whom I killed. Worse, fate made me marry my mother and mad me to beget my
children from her. What other than fate could conquer the mighty Oedipus who had the world under
his feet? What would not have I conquered if there was nothing like fate? Why did fate make me
commit the grossest sins in the world? Even after I committed those sins why did fate make those
facts public

Emotional Causes In The Necklace By Edgar Allen Poe
You re walking around your house one day and you realize how shabby it is, you also realize the color
is beginning to diminish because it s very old, so you start noticing all the things you can t afford and
don t have, like fancy dresses. Noticing all of these things eventually produces an anger and sadness
inside of you that will drive you to make bad decisions and eventually cause you to get involved in a
conflict that will seem unescapable, then to only find out that this conflict was meaningless, this is
precisely what happens to Madame Loisel in the story The Necklace by Edgar Allen Poe. When
Madame Loisel does this she begins to show very negative signs like consistent complaining and
ungratefulness for anything that she deems poor . Without a doubt though, these horrid traits
eventually diminished when her consistent complaining and begging got her a false necklace she
would eventually lose and have to pay in debt, which made her work for the things she wanted. Our
beloved Madame Loisel also had her moments of extreme euphoria that even made me feel joyous
too, this extreme euphoria occurs when she finally got the ability to get her hands on a fancy dress and
a very deceiving jewel necklace. In Conclusion, this story is mainly about Madame Loisel a woman
with an attitude of a spoiled brat that learns a lesson the hard way. Throughout the story we obviously
can t help but to notice that Madame Loisel is an incredibly ungrateful person. We realize Madame

During this paper i will talk about its background, the parts, how it works and how it is different from the ISS (International Space Station). The Saturn V rocket has 3 stages in its launch. The first stage carries around 203,400 gallons (770,000 liters) of kerosene fuel and 318,000 gallons (1.2 million liters) of liquid oxygen needed for combustion. The Saturn V rockets used for the Apollo missions had three stages. Each stage would burn its engines until it was out of fuel and would then separate from the rocket. The engines on the next stage would fire, and the rocket would continue into space. The first stage had the most powerful engines, since it had the challenging task of lifting the fully fueled rocket off the ground. The first stage lifted the rocket to an altitude of about 68 kilometers or 42 miles. The second stage carried it from there almost into orbit. The third stage placed the Apollo spacecraft into Earth orbit and pushed it toward the moon. The first two stages fell into the ocean after separation. The third stage either stayed in space or hit the moon. Now we will talk about how fast the Saturn V rocket can go. In order for the Saturn V rocket to break free of the Earth s gravitational pull, it will need to travel approximately 7 miles per second. The fastest speed obtained by a manned vehicle orbiting the moon to Earth in 1969 is 11.08km/s or 24,791 miles per hour. After the launch the Saturn V burned for almost 6 minutes giving it a velocity close to the Earth s escape velocity of 11.2 km/s or 25,053 miles per ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Recent research continues to illustrate that the barriers that professional females face in today s society is tremendous. While the barriers and challenges that professional women face is well documented, it is also critical to evaluate the perceptions of those barriers held by women. In education, men often hold leadership positions. Statistically, superintendents almost always come from teaching backgrounds. When the majority of teachers are female, it is intriguing to ask why the male teaching population tends to be of the select few who ultimately rise to higher leadership positions. According to Wallace (2015), the proportion of females in the superintendency was 23% in 2012 and increases by only 0.7% annually. This statistic is shocking, as it would take approximately 80 years for females to be proportionately represented in public school leadership. It is critical to assess the barriers and challenges females face in regards to leadership attainment. There are certainly internal and external factors that continue to plague this gender discrepancy. Furthermore, proportional inequities continue to stem from historical contexts ranging from social and cultural norms to professional networks. Fate eventually took me to my parents and with the help of my ill fated luck I fought and won against my own father whom I killed. Worse, fate made me marry my mother and mad me to beget my children from her. What other than fate could conquer the mighty Oedipus who had the world under his feet? • 30. Emotional Causes In The Necklace By Edgar Allen Poe You re walking around your house one day and you realize how shabby it is, you also realize the color is beginning to diminish because it s very old, so you start noticing all the things you can t afford and don t have, like fancy dresses. Noticing all of these things eventually produces an anger and sadness inside of you that will drive you to make bad decisions and eventually cause you to get involved in a conflict that will seem unescapable, then to only find out that this conflict was meaningless, this is precisely what happens to Madame Loisel in the story The Necklace by Edgar Allen Poe. When Madame Loisel does this she begins to show very negative signs like consistent complaining and ungratefulness for anything that she deems poor . Without a doubt though, these horrid traits eventually diminished when her consistent complaining and begging got her a false necklace she would eventually lose and have to pay in debt, which made her work for the things she wanted. Our beloved Madame Loisel also had her moments of extreme euphoria that even made me feel joyous too, this extreme euphoria occurs when she finally got the ability to get her hands on a fancy dress and a very deceiving jewel necklace. In Conclusion, this story is mainly about Madame Loisel a woman with an attitude of a spoiled brat that learns a lesson the hard way. Throughout the story we obviously can t help but to notice that Madame Loisel is an incredibly ungrateful person. We realize Madame Loisel s ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
