Research Paper
As technology continues to advance everyday, verbal conversation is becoming less common. Even
though texting is becoming more common, it is making understanding ones tone and view on a
conversation difficult to understand. People aren t necessarily able to express emotion over text,
regardless of punctuation. One still isn t able to determine if a person could be joking, serious,
sarcastic, or lying because sending a text isn t the same as speaking to a person face to face. Me
personally, I have reaped the repercussions of jumping to conclusions with my conversations through
text. With personal experiences, research, and findings I will elaborate more on the topic of how

I personally can see myself not being able to concentrate in class as much because I have a significant
other that texts me as well as all my other friends who I don t see all the time. Not only that but social
media as well which makes being able to concentrate in class difficult and being able to focus during
work is just as difficult. Texting has made a big impact on conversational aspects in multiple different
ways most outweighing the positives.
The effects of texting on intrapersonal relationships I found were majority negative. Basically today
texting has become the main form for contacting people that aren t close to you. Many individuals use
texting to express their feelings, keep in touch with friends, and avoid communication orally. Even
though texting is convenient, simple, and simple it is causing a severe negative effect on face to face
conversations. It has come to the point where texting is actually replacing face to face communication
where people are even too scared to meet a person physically to speak face to face. Nonverbal
Competency is the ability to process and use non verbal codes to convey content in effective ways.
The nonverbal codes don t exist because there isn t a receiving party. No vocal characteristics, body
movements, or facial expressions of any kind with which to gauge from conversation. Texting has
made people lazy and lack face to face conversation skills. Texting has made people shorten their
words,

Kashmir As A Forgotten Casualty Of The World
Since the day of the British Partition from India, there has been one absolving issue that has been
ignored by much of the world. Surrounded on three sides, by three nuclear powers, the region of
Kashmir has become a forgotten casualty of the aftermath. The region has since crafted a history of
violent struggle for sovereignty and freedom. Kashmir has become symbolic of the nearly century
long Indo paki struggle that has left inhabitants of the region in turmoil. The bloody history of the
region, and the way the issue has been handled brings up the question of what is the best way to
handle the situation? The region of Kashmir has been claimed by both India and Pakistan, while a
large percentage of the population want independence, all three parties have been at a near century
long struggle, that can only be solved when the originally proposed solution of a plebiscite is put into
place. In order to understand the current situation in Kashmir, it is necessary to understand the history
of the region. The British sold Kashmir to Maharajah Ghulab Singh in 1846. Subsequently, Maharajah
Ghulab Singh established himself as the independent princely ruler of Kashmir. This was done
through the famous treaty of Amritsar. After Ghulab Singh s death, his kingdom passed on to his
successors and was ultimately ruled by Maharajah Hari Singh until 1949. These rulers were known to
be tyrannical and oppressive. In 1931, there was even a revolt and general unrest amongst the majority

II. Materials and Methodology
Assay Location
The experiment proper was carried out inside a room in the Medina Residence, which is located at 5
Capt. Miyong St., San Roque, Marikina City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The room experienced
limited sunlight with temperatures that vary from 18°C to 28°C. The set up was placed on top of a
table to eliminate the possibility of animal foraging.
Species Selection
The experiment entailed the utilization of three species of plants. The first species, Oryza sativa Linn.,
was preselected while the last two species were left to the discretion of the proponent of the study.
Prudent seed selection was done to ensure the preservation of the diversity of the plant species that
will be utilized for the experiment.
O. sativa, commonly called rice, is a monocot plant. It belongs to the family of grasses, Poaceae, and
is the main source of carbohydrates in Asian countries. Solanum melongena Linn., commonly called
eggplant, in contrast is a dicot plant. The shrub belongs to the nightshade family, Solanaceae, and is
used as a source of vitamins and minerals in tropical and temperate countries. Abelmaschus esculentus

Safety And Security In Rip Van Winkie
America: The World s Safezone For years, America has been considered a safe zone for all of its
residents. Europeans came to America hundreds of years ago to escape religious persecution. Jewish
people in Europe came to America in the 1900s to escape anti Semetic violence. People from
Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador come to America to find safety from drug violence and gangs
in their countries. Therefore, America can be considered a home to anyone who needs it. The idea of
America being a place of safety and shelter, regardless of religion, race, or how someone chooses to
live their life is a huge part of America s identity, and various texts from the late 1700s and 1800s
showcase this. The idea of safety and protection in America is portrayed though symbolism in the
short story titled Rip Van Winkle by Washington Irving, also known as Diedrich Knickerbocker. In the
text, Rip Van Winkle falls asleep for 20 years, only to realize that he has woken up in a newly
independent America. He returns to an inn he used to spend his time at before he falls asleep. The
narrator describes what he sees, saying, Instead of the great tree that used to shelter the quiet little
Dutch inn of yore, there now was reared a tall, naked pole... and from it was fluttering a flag, on which
was a singular assemblage of stars and stripes... (Irving 10). The tree that used to stand by the inn
acted as a shelter for the inn, protecting it from harm s way. The flag replacing it is symbolic of the

The Life of Juan Ponce de Leon
Have you ever heard of Juan Ponce de Leon? Rumor has it he was searching for the mythical fountain
of youth , but historians suggest otherwise. There are no surviving documents saying that Juan Ponce
de Leon was searching for the fountain of youth. It is thought that Gonzalo Fernández de Oviedo y
Valdez disliked Juan, and attempting to make him look foolish, spread the rumor saying that Juan
Ponce de Leon was looking for the fountain of youth. Both Juan Ponce de Leon s birthplace and
birthdate are not known for sure. Based on their research, historians believe Ponce de Leon was born
in either 1460 or 1474. He is thought to be born in Tierra de Campos. Tierra de Campos is a village in
northwestern Spain. He was likely born into a noble family. Noble families sons were sent to work for
famous nobleman. Working for a nobleman would help further his education to become a knight. First,
Ponce de Leon became a page to Pedro Nunez de Guzman. As a page, Juan served meals and went to
several events with Guzman and his wife. As a teenager, Juan s position required more work. Juan
became a squire. As a squire, Ponce de Leon cared for Guzman s armor, and assisted him in battle
against the muslims. Ponce de Leon s career as an explorer began in 1493, on Columbus s second
voyage. He was a conquistador, a leader of the Spanish conquest. He was probably looking to become
wealthy from all of the gold in the Americas. Ponce de Leon may have been curious. It is a mystery

Nazi Ideology And The Nazi Party Essay
The leaders of the Nazi party made it one of the most infamous groups to lead a nation in history. The
horrible things done under their rule and with their stamp of approval has made the term Nazi one of
the worst possible. The amazing thing about the Nazi party is that many of the main aspects of their
ideology existed in Germany even before they formed or came to power. Some of the major aspects of
Nazi ideology such as antisemitism, the desire to expand the German empire, and the belief in the
strength of the Aryan race existed in Germany years before Adolf Hitler was a name anyone in
Germany would recognize. The most widely known aspects of Nazi ideology are their hatred of
Jewish people and their tireless efforts to exterminate the entire race during their rule. This distinctly
Nazi belief of antisemitism is not one that the Nazis created. It instead had existed for several
thousand years throughout Germany and all of Europe. As Stackelberg and Winkle explain, The
origins of the stereotype of Jews as immoral materialists can be traced to the unwillingness of Jews to
give up their religion in favor of world renouncing Christianity (Stackelberg and Winkle, Anti
Semitism, p. 2). This feeling of hatred towards Jews persisted for centuries, especially in countries that
had a majority of Christian citizens. There were a number of people that continually perpetuated these
anti Semitic views with the works that they published and their actions towards Jews. A great

The Importance Of The First Amendment Rights
I would need to say yes that obliging him to go to the meeting in which prayer to God is directed
abuses his First Amendment Rights. The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution addresses religion
in two regards. To begin with, it restricts the government from establishing a national religion.
Opportunity from religious abuse is an essential motivation behind why numerous foreigners resulted
in moving to this country. Allowing individuals the flexibility to pick how, when, and where to
worship is a critical thought in this nation. Permitting people the freedom to choose how, when, and
where to worship is an important consideration in this country. Allowing others to discriminate
because of religion not only compromises this First Amendment right, it also promotes the economic
advantages of belonging to one religion (Moran, 2014). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The First Amendment also promotes the freedom to associate. On the off chance that a man relates
socially just with individuals from his or her own religion, that is a secured decision. Be that as it may,
Employment is not social; it is financial. It is out of line for a business to pick its workers on the
premise of their religious inclination. How is this inclination work related? It is definitely not.
Employers should respect the rights of employees to worship as they please on their own time and, if
possible, should reasonably accommodate their employees to enable them to do so (Moran, 2014). I
would need to say that the business should have obliged Paul to go to the meeting for prayer to

These formations of strategies are presented through Piaget, Concrete Operations.
The characteristics of the Concrete operation (Lightfoot, pg397 398) that we can focus on is identity,
logical necessity, conservation, and reversibility. Identify is where children realize that even though
the child is tagged by the person who is it there is no addition or subtraction of anything from the child
to alter the child, personality or form. Through logical necessity they are appeared frozen, following
the rules of the game and thorough logical reasoning they are able to determine, that they are not
actually frozen but rather they are pretending to be. Children comprehends that the person who was
tagged is not actually frozen but rather they are only their appearance is view so, acting like they are
frozen shows signs of the ability to understand, conservation. They also, are able to apply reversibility
to the game, understanding that the person who is frozen can be un frozen after they been tagged by
the person who is it , by the same action of another player tagging them.
Their mental operation is more pronounced, capable to assess their own thoughts and is more
organized in their thought process, able to think about different solution, ideas and alternatives, as well
as the cause and effects of their actions.

Disadvantages Of Mergers
Mergers and Acquisitions: A merger is said to occur when at least two organizations consent to
consolidate, bringing about another element or with the subsequent firm keeping up the character of

Some people are under the idea that myths can only explain how things were created. However, this is

Opportunities and threats
Based on grocery sector, if Amazon Company keeps their food fresh their costs will increase, and also
more customers are going to buy their grocery online because a lot of people don t want to go to the
store if they are busy or if there is traffic especially when they get off from work. So if they keep this
thing in their mind and continue to do it, Amazon will be the best place to dominate this section of
business. Amazon.com would have an opportunity to open physical stores because this company is
growing every year with better annual net revenue. Also, holidays gifts and seasonal things will get
more consumers to shop online on Amazon.com, and also promotional activities will also lead to get
more consumers to shop on Amazon s website.
Some of the threats the company have are shipping cost for some books is high, and it might take a
long time to get a book, so that may divert customers to the physical bookstore because a lot of
students cannot wait a lot to get their books especially if they have an exam or homework to do. One
of the most important threats is when Amazon Company website goes down, they will lose revenue
every single minute, and that will lead them to a negative impact on the company.

The Earth On The Turtle s Back
How was Earth created? How were people created? Why was everything made how it was? All of
these questions and many more were asked by Native Americans, and so they came up with stories to
answer these questions in a way they could understand. Some of these stories include; The Sky Tree,
The Earth on the Turtle s Back, Coyote Finishes His Work, Coyote Steals the Sun and Moon, The
Blackfeet Genesis, When Grizzlies Walked Upright, and The Navajo Origin Legend. According to
these titles, one could conclude that there were different stories explaining the same thing, and a lot of
them had to do with animals.
The first two stories that are similar in many ways is The Sky Tree and The Earth on the Turtle s Back.
Both of these stories are the explanation of how the land came around, stating that the Earth started as
water, and then something happened that made it have land. In both stories, it starts out with the world
just being full of water and takes place in skyland. In one story, the the Queen ... Show more content

the disadvantages are that you may not get as much data as you are not a part of the discussions so you

John Lubbock Naturalism
John Lubbock, a British naturalist and politician, authored the quote, Your character is what you
yourself choose to make it. I firmly believe that he is right in his writing of this quote. This quote s
meaning can be taken taken in a literal sense, but there is a lot of context which must be considered.
There also exists the very precise wording that the author chose in his wording of this quote. There
exists a lot of bias in the author s writing of this quote, as he was a naturalist at the time of the nature
versus nurture debate. I am on the author s side and am a firm supporter in the meaning of this quote.
To examine the quote closely, people must first look at the concept that is naturalism. Naturalism is
the concept which states that people are not just products of their environment but that people choose
what characteristics of which they develop. In the quote the author takes the viewpoint that the
environment may leave an imprint upon the character if a person, but it is the person who ultimately
chooses who they want to be. While some may say that the author is conveying that the person is not
the only factor in adoption of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
People are not just products of the environment, as the counter to naturalism might suggest. This is
firmly established in a biography known as A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer. Dave was abused by his
mother throughout his childhood and could have easily given into the hate that his environment had
placed around him. Instead of being consumed by the hatred of his environment, he made the choice
to develop perseverance and escaped this environment writing this biography. Were he a product of his
environment as nurturists would suggest, he would likely have developed much more malicious habits
during the rest of his lifetime. In the end, this quote largely represents the debate known as nature

Her Kozmic Blues music attracted many Hippies and became a living legend. Joplin later died due to
her excessive drug use and she will always be remembered as the woman who made Woodstock a
bigger success than it would have been in her absence.
The Beatles were also extremely influential and fought to save Vietnam. They sang songs in honor of
those dying and they held concerts to motivate people to join the Hippies. The most influential of the
Beatles was probably John Lennon. Lennon was one of the loudest voices fighting the war and he had
a massive effect on people. He grew his beard and hair for Hair
Peace and he was a major icon for Hippies worldwide.
Another icon, although a bit controversial, was Prof. Dr. Timothy Leary of Harvard. Leary said drugs
were a form of mind expansion , meaning that he encouraged the use of drugs recreationally.
Examples of the drugs he encouraged are Marijuana or Hash/Hashish, LSD, and
Psychedelic Mushroom. This arouses a fraction of the controversy revolving around The Hippie
Movement.
To some people the Hippie Movements regime was one that was a negative for the country and for the

Let Students Listen To Music In Schools
This solution can be put into action in many ways. One way is for schools to let students listen to
music in study halls or other times throughout the day that they are allowed to work on homework.
This can cause students to be more productive and study more efficiently. A second way is that
teachers can play quiet, background music in their classrooms while students take tests. This can
create some background noise so it is not extremely silent in the class because too much silence can
sometimes be distracting to students. It will also ease some of the nerves that they may have while
taking the test. A third way to put music into schools is to use songs that help teach a certain subject
that a class may be studying. An example of this would ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A final way that schools could allow music to be a bigger part of their day would be making time for
students to just listen to music and relax. This can take a large amount of the stress of a day at school
off of them and they will be able to focus and learn better by simply being more relaxed. A fourth way
is to make it a requirement for students to take some type of music class in order to graduate. If music
is required, all students will have to take it for at least a year or semester and see many of the benefits
that can come from it. If they really enjoy the class, they will probably continue to take it and keep
performing well in other subjects too. As all of these examples show, one can clearly see that music
can be introduced into schools in multiple different ways. Schools should really consider trying and
using some of these techniques in order to improve the learning environment for their students and
help them to perform at higher academic levels. If students are earning better grades, it represents
schools well and shows that they are doing a good job of teaching their

By doing this, we can take away the ability for an attacker to make any changes to the database.
In the following example if the code is run with read and write permissions the attacker could
potentially delete all that data in the database. ; DROP TABLE users; #
But by having the database be read only for the executing script we can able to make any changes to
the database so drop table users command would have no effect on the database as a whole.
4. Configure Error Reporting: When attempting to attack a server, attacker tries to get any information
possible which hook on unauthorized access to the server. If an attacker can cause a script to crash to
split out any error messages, it helps to figure out the system s potential vulnerabilities. However, if all
the error messages are written internally it doesn t get any feedback about what s going on in the
application making it much more challenging to find a security vulnerability.
5. Prevention Using Stored Procedures [13]: Stored procedures are being a part of database help

Through the incorporation of figurative language in both Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka and Equus

Therefore analyzing the behavior that occurs during the process and the aftermath of their seclusion
will determine the success of their accomplishment with the breakthrough of peace. When comparing

Due to his tragic metamorphosis, he then realizes his need for shut[ing] himself all together in order
for his family s relief (Kafka 29). Also, when alienating self, it encourages Gregor s belief that he
trifles his family. Since he causes grief among them, it pushes his isolation and relationship blockage
further with his family. Thus, his silence and insecurity causes him to gradually think of his self
happiness rather than their judgment. Likewise, Shaffer also characterizes Alan as isolating towards
society and his family. Most importantly, Alan has a way of avoiding questions by either ignoring

Hence, Alan attempt in subduing society s involvement with his life and hiding his inner thoughts.
Also through his actions, others view him as diverse from society. Since Alan defends his emotions
and isolates himself, when someone observes him, they see him as a modern citizen for whom society

The Controversy Between Theory To Measurement And...
The role of measurement
How does the mechanism proceed from theory to measurement and to policy making?
Once the phenomenon is examined within a conceptual framework; I intend to go further with a
methodological understanding and questioning of the mechanism in which immigration is modelled,
measured, and intervened with the policies. In order to inquire this, the first emphasis goes on the link
between theory and measurement; and then to the way the scientific process is translated into real
world via policy making. Thinking how numbers dependency on the subject matter (individuals) can
easily turn to the dependency of individuals to the numbers just because policy matters for people; a
proper understanding and measuring people and their environment as a whole appears to be essential.

These indices on the other hand, can be seen as the way authorities (states or group of states, i.e.
European Union) define and identify immigrants since they play role in policy making. So, the extent
these indices recognize identity can be symbolized as the extent states and policies recognize
immigrants as they have identities (heterogeneous mixture), in interaction with others, and do change.
Following the discussion on the problems in the economic theory; the validity of the indices would
then depend on how adequately they take the individuals, their change and interaction into account. If
what matters in immigration is not only an ultimate goal set in one point of time or its consequences in
performance in an isolated work place; but the goals, as individuals do, evolve within interaction of
identities of all entities (people, groups, institutions, lands) maybe in different frequencies or different
ways; then indices as the way authorities understand individuals should well take this into account.

The life of Benedict Arnold, is a legendary American story, about military victory, dishonor, and

Pam Muunoz Ryan s Freddie In The Shade
Freddie in the Shade Literary Analysis Gilbert K. Chesterton, an English poet and writer, once stated,
A good novel tells us the truth about its hero; but a bad novel tells us the truth about its author. One
great author is Pam Munoz Ryan who wrote Freddie in the Shade. This short story is about a boy
named Freddie who is going to move to a different school but then gets the chance to work at a bakery
with a girl named Amy. The author uses personality traits and setting to convey the theme of accepting
and coping with change. Throughout the story the author shows that Freddie, the main character, is
self absorbed which is his main personality trait and this helps to create the theme. For example, the
narrator writes, Freddie thought back over the past weeks. She was right. He d never once asked her a
question about her life or her mother (Ryan 24). This example proves that Freddie is self absorbed and
only thinking about his own feelings because he had been spending time with Amy every single days

Golden Age China Research Paper
Golden Age China had a greater cultural influence than did 21st century China, whereas 21st century
China has had a greater economic influence. There were many cultural benefits from the Golden Era,
including religion, fine arts, and innovations. As a result of the peace and stability which formed
during the Tang dynasty, Buddhism was introduced and became a dominant religion among the
Chinese. Alongside the new religion, Taoism was also a major religion in China. Through the bonding
of these two religions, several other religions emerged, such as the Pure Land Sect, Tian tai sect, and
also Chan Buddhism. These new branches of the religions were called sects.
Along with religion, the fine arts were also a major part of Chinese life from the Golden Era. Due to
the influences of the Silk Road and prosperity of the Tang dynasty, China experienced a time in which
the fine arts were further developed. Sculptures, paintings, and the most prevalent of Golden Age
China, poetry, were created. Famous poets, such as Tu Fu and Li Bo, both of whom are still sometimes
believed today to be the greatest of Chinese poets in history, created some of the most famous pieces
of literature during the Tang dynasty. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

CONTEXT
History
The existence of sweatshops can be traced all the way back 1500 s when Spanish Conquistadors
claimed control of Ecuador and forced natives to work in their textile mills. The term itself references
England s manufacturing industries throughout the 1800 s. In English factories immigrants would
perform monotonous actions for long hours and meager pay. As immigration into America increased
during the late 1800 s so did the quantity of sweatshops. The employers of these immigrants preyed
upon their lack of education and inability to read or write. Immigrants had to endure overcrowded
workplaces, poor sanitation, high expectations, and were rarely given the chance to take a break.
Nonetheless, they were more than grateful for the opportunities they were presented with and were
more than ecstatic to escape the hardships of their old lives. Eventually better working conditions
were established but not until America s economy had strengthened as a whole. Too many people try

Abstract
The purpose of this experiment was to find out if an adults could pass a middle school science test.
My hypothesis was that the 20 39 year old age group would have the highest average test score. To
determine this I had adults, in the age ranges of 20 39, 40 59, and 60+, take a 12 question middle
school science test. The results proved my hypothesis right because the 20 39 year olds age group had
the highest average test score. The 60+ age group had the second highest average test score and the 40
59 year old age group had the lowest average test score. The independent variables are the ages of the
adults, which are (20 39), (40 59), (60+). The dependent variable is the grade the participant gets on
the test based on the answer sheet for the test. The controlled variable is the 12 question middle school

  • 2. Intropersonal Communication Dustin Miller COM 136 April 22, 2013 Research Paper As technology continues to advance everyday, verbal conversation is becoming less common. Even though texting is becoming more common, it is making understanding ones tone and view on a conversation difficult to understand. People aren t necessarily able to express emotion over text, regardless of punctuation. One still isn t able to determine if a person could be joking, serious, sarcastic, or lying because sending a text isn t the same as speaking to a person face to face. • 3. Kashmir As A Forgotten Casualty Of The World Since the day of the British Partition from India, there has been one absolving issue that has been ignored by much of the world. Surrounded on three sides, by three nuclear powers, the region of Kashmir has become a forgotten casualty of the aftermath. The region has since crafted a history of violent struggle for sovereignty and freedom. Kashmir has become symbolic of the nearly century long Indo paki struggle that has left inhabitants of the region in turmoil. The bloody history of the region, and the way the issue has been handled brings up the question of what is the best way to handle the situation? The region of Kashmir has been claimed by both India and Pakistan, while a large percentage of the population want independence, all three parties have been at a near century long struggle, that can only be solved when the originally proposed solution of a plebiscite is put into place. In order to understand the current situation in Kashmir, it is necessary to understand the history of the region. The British sold Kashmir to Maharajah Ghulab Singh in 1846. Subsequently, Maharajah Ghulab Singh established himself as the independent princely ruler of Kashmir. This was done through the famous treaty of Amritsar. After Ghulab Singh s death, his kingdom passed on to his successors and was ultimately ruled by Maharajah Hari Singh until 1949. These rulers were known to be tyrannical and oppressive. In 1931, there was even a revolt and general unrest amongst the majority Muslim ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. Safety And Security In Rip Van Winkie America: The World s Safezone For years, America has been considered a safe zone for all of its residents. Europeans came to America hundreds of years ago to escape religious persecution. Jewish people in Europe came to America in the 1900s to escape anti Semetic violence. People from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador come to America to find safety from drug violence and gangs in their countries. Therefore, America can be considered a home to anyone who needs it. The idea of America being a place of safety and shelter, regardless of religion, race, or how someone chooses to live their life is a huge part of America s identity, and various texts from the late 1700s and 1800s showcase this. The idea of safety and protection in America is portrayed though symbolism in the short story titled Rip Van Winkle by Washington Irving, also known as Diedrich Knickerbocker. In the text, Rip Van Winkle falls asleep for 20 years, only to realize that he has woken up in a newly independent America. He returns to an inn he used to spend his time at before he falls asleep. The narrator describes what he sees, saying, Instead of the great tree that used to shelter the quiet little Dutch inn of yore, there now was reared a tall, naked pole... and from it was fluttering a flag, on which was a singular assemblage of stars and stripes... (Irving 10). The tree that used to stand by the inn acted as a shelter for the inn, protecting it from harm s way. The flag replacing it is symbolic of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Both Juan Ponce de Leon s birthplace and birthdate are not known for sure. Based on their research, historians believe Ponce de Leon was born in either 1460 or 1474. He is thought to be born in Tierra de Campos. Tierra de Campos is a village in northwestern Spain. He was likely born into a noble family. Noble families sons were sent to work for famous nobleman. The horrible things done under their rule and with their stamp of approval has made the term Nazi one of the worst possible. The amazing thing about the Nazi party is that many of the main aspects of their ideology existed in Germany even before they formed or came to power. Some of the major aspects of Nazi ideology such as antisemitism, the desire to expand the German empire, and the belief in the strength of the Aryan race existed in Germany years before Adolf Hitler was a name anyone in Germany would recognize. The most widely known aspects of Nazi ideology are their hatred of Jewish people and their tireless efforts to exterminate the entire race during their rule. This distinctly Nazi belief of antisemitism is not one that the Nazis created. It instead had existed for several thousand years throughout Germany and all of Europe. As Stackelberg and Winkle explain, The origins of the stereotype of Jews as immoral materialists can be traced to the unwillingness of Jews to give up their religion in favor of world renouncing Christianity (Stackelberg and Winkle, Anti Semitism, p. 2). This feeling of hatred towards Jews persisted for centuries, especially in countries that had a majority of Christian citizens. There were a number of people that continually perpetuated these anti Semitic views with the works that they published and their actions towards Jews. A great ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Therefore analyzing the behavior that occurs during the process and the aftermath of their seclusion will determine the success of their accomplishment with the breakthrough of peace. Thus, his silence and insecurity causes him to gradually think of his self happiness rather than their judgment. Likewise, Shaffer also characterizes Alan as isolating towards society and his family. Once the phenomenon is examined within a conceptual framework; I intend to go further with a methodological understanding and questioning of the mechanism in which immigration is modelled, measured, and intervened with the policies. In order to inquire this, the first emphasis goes on the link between theory and measurement; and then to the way the scientific process is translated into real world via policy making. • 33. Pam Muunoz Ryan s Freddie In The Shade Freddie in the Shade Literary Analysis Gilbert K. Chesterton, an English poet and writer, once stated, A good novel tells us the truth about its hero; but a bad novel tells us the truth about its author. One great author is Pam Munoz Ryan who wrote Freddie in the Shade. This short story is about a boy named Freddie who is going to move to a different school but then gets the chance to work at a bakery with a girl named Amy. The author uses personality traits and setting to convey the theme of accepting and coping with change. Throughout the story the author shows that Freddie, the main character, is self absorbed which is his main personality trait and this helps to create the theme. For example, the narrator writes, Freddie thought back over the past weeks. She was right. He d never once asked her a question about her life or her mother (Ryan 24). This example proves that Freddie is self absorbed and only thinking about his own feelings because he had been spending time with Amy every single days for the entire summer and had never once thought of her feelings or what was happening in her life outside of the bakery. The term itself references England s manufacturing industries throughout the 1800 s. In English factories immigrants would perform monotonous actions for long hours and meager pay. My hypothesis was that the 20 39 year old age group would have the highest average test score. To determine this I had adults, in the age ranges of 20 39, 40 59, and 60+, take a 12 question middle school science test. The results proved my hypothesis right because the 20 39 year olds age group had the highest average test score. The 60+ age group had the second highest average test score and the 40 59 year old age group had the lowest average test score. The independent variables are the ages of the adults, which are (20 39), (40 59), (60+). The dependent variable is the grade the participant gets on the test based on the answer sheet for the test. The controlled variable is the 12 question middle school science test based on middle school curriculum. If I were to do something to make the data more accurate I would to ...
