This paper discusses the implementation of Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) for driving a three-phase two-level Voltage Source Inverter (VSI). It highlights a new switching sequence to optimize inverter performance and reduce total harmonic distortion (THD), confirmed by simulations using PSIM and experimental results on an Arduino Mega microcontroller. The findings demonstrate that the proposed switching sequence yields the least THD compared to traditional methods, reinforcing the efficiency of SVPWM in practical applications.
