 Wind power system : It converts kinetic energy of wind into
electrical energy . The generated power is either ac or dc
depending upon the type generator used in the wind power
system

system should be equal .
 In the same way interfacing ac is also possible.
 If the system is need to interface with the grid we
have to use inverter to convert dc to ac

The generated power is in dc  Wind power system : It converts kinetic energy of wind into electrical energy . The generated power is either ac or dc depending upon the type generator used in the wind power system 4/17/2016

  • 7. Conclusion  Here we need to conclude that before interfacing both solar and wind powers the voltage of both system should be equal .  In the same way interfacing ac is also possible.  If the system is need to interface with the grid we have to use inverter to convert dc to ac 4/17/2016
